Chapter Five Hundred and Two: Azeroth Betrayed

What's going on?

Mannoroth stared at the fawning orc, feeling a little confused.

The mission Archimonde gave to Mannoroth was to find a way for the Legion to enter Azeroth and find a place to garrison troops, lest something big happen in the future and the Legion would be unable to arrive in time.

But according to the orc Brox's wishes, the night elves of Mount Hyjal actually wanted to give up the magic of the Well of Eternity and choose the power of evil.

Mannoroth really couldn't understand. He didn't think that the power of evil was stronger than the magic of the Well of Eternity.

Generally, residents of strange worlds are seduced by the Burning Legion in order to pursue powerful power, thus shamelessly betraying their own people. I have never seen anyone actively lowering their own strength to join the Legion.

Why did Queen Azshara use the magic of the Well of Eternity to bind the people? Mannoroth even scorned this. Accepting evil energy was equivalent to being controlled by the Burning Legion. The Legion was never benevolent.

Mannoroth felt that something was wrong, and it was really unreasonable. He controlled the evil shadow to make a rolling sound of thunder, and asked Brox: "Insidious orc, do you want to deceive me? You should know the consequences of the following crimes."

Brooks was so frightened that he trembled all over and quickly knelt on the ground and begged for mercy:

"Sir, this is absolutely true. There is absolutely no lie. It was told to me personally by Lord Tyrande, the chief priest of the Moon Temple. After receiving the power of the Moon God, the magic power of the Well of Eternity in the night elves will be restored."

There are fewer and fewer, and the priests of the Moon Temple are in urgent need of new power."

"What about the other night elves in Mount Hyjal? How could they give up the powerful magic of the Well of Eternity and choose our evil energy? Have their heads been stepped on by Kodo beasts? How do you explain it?"

With a trembling voice, Brooks replied:

"Sir, Tyrande also told me that the night elves in Mount Hyjal believe in the moon god and have prayed to the moon god. Regardless of whether they are pious or not, they can't help it. They already have the moon god in their bodies.

of seeds.”

"pollute?"

Mannoroth is very familiar with this method, a dirty trick used by the Burning Legion.

As those cute creatures took control of the legion, Archimonde and Kil'jaeden gradually lost their right to speak and were no longer allowed to use such despicable methods.

Mannoroth thought about it for a long time, feeling suspicious and unable to make a correct judgment. The matter was so important that he had to ask his master Archimonde for advice.

"Orc, go back first and tell the priests of the Moon Temple to talk to me directly."

Brox left in a hurry. After leaving the furbolg camp for some distance, he transformed back into the body of Cenarius. This was the camouflage technique passed down by the Moon God. After all, with the appearance of an orc, it was easier to gain the trust of the Burning Legion.

.

Mannoroth opened the Legion liaison and contacted Archimonde.

Archimonde seemed to be in a good mood. The gloomy and gloomy look on his face was gone, replaced by a light of hope. His eyes were bright. He looked at his adjutant with a smile:

"Manoroth, how are things going? Are the believers of the Moon God willing to give up a piece of land? Allow our legions to garrison."

"Great polluter, things have developed unexpectedly."

Mannoroth introduced his contact with Brox, the attitude of the Temple of the Moon, etc. He thought Archimonde would be surprised, but he didn't expect Archimonde to have been prepared for it. He waved his hand nonchalantly and said with a smile:

"No need to doubt, I had expected this. This is the conspiracy of the Moon God. The night elves in Mount Hyjal are definitely no match for Azshara. This is just a cover. In order to cover up the real conspiracy, the real curtain is still there.

It hasn't been revealed yet. Promise them that you can make any conditions you want and they will accept them."

After a pause, Archimonde recalled the unpleasant duel with Azshara, and frowned slightly:

"Don't take things too far. Elune, the moon god, can force the night elves, but we can't. What you need to do is to spread the word in advance, allow those believers who are suspicious of the moon god to leave, and give them a chance to escape. That counts.

To save Queen Azshara's face, remember, we are not Queen Azshara's opponents, and we should tolerate it when necessary."

Archimonde actually showed a rare kindness. It seems that Queen Azshara's strength deeply shocked him.

Mannoroth nodded in agreement, and then Archimonde personally dispatched some men, a small vanguard of the Burning Legion, to enter Mount Hyjal through the space rift to assist Mannoroth in his preliminary preparations.

The next day, representatives from the Temple of the Moon came. Tyrande led several Moon God guards to the furbolg camp, negotiated with Mannoroth, and received Archimonde's advice. Mannoroth felt that there was no danger, so he

No more hiding.

"An abyss lord." Tyrande looked at the huge Mannoroth, feeling his powerful power, and estimated that his status in the Burning Legion should not be low.

In the past, Tyrande would never take an abyss lord seriously, but now she must be cautious.

Without the magic of the Well of Eternity, and without the power given by the Moon Goddess, she would be just a weak night elf, fighting with bows and arrows and inferior magic.

Unfortunately, the power of the Moon God is not as endless as the Well of Eternity. It can be supplied at any time and at any time. It must be prayed to sincerely and may not be answered.

Sometimes Tyrande will regret it, but unfortunately there is no turning back. She must pull more night elves to join this large group to serve the Moon God and gain greater power.

"I am Tyrande Whisperwind, the chief priestess of the Temple of the Moon, and I come on behalf of the Moon Goddess Elune."

Mannoroth looked down at this woman, and saw through her conflicted and entangled heart at a glance. He had been deceived and was leading more people to perish. The bad nature of creatures was clearly reflected in her body.

"Haha, little night elves, if you gain something, you have to pay a price. The power of evil is extremely precious. What can you pay? I doubt if you can offer conditions that satisfy us."

Tyrande smiled slightly, said with great pride and majesty:

"How about the world of Azeroth, half of the land?"

Mannoroth was shocked. He did not expect Tyrande to be so decisive. Such courage, leadership style, and heroic spirit made the insidious Lord of the Abyss feel embarrassed and even embarrassed to bargain.

"Very well, Tyrande, your courage has won you the friendship of the Legion."

Mannoroth figured out the reason. Now the owner of the world of Azeroth is Queen Azshara. Tyrande is of course very generous in trading for the land he has not yet obtained.

"We need to build a portal in the Mount Hyjal area to lure the Burning Legion's army into Azeroth, so that we can provide the night elves with the power of evil."

Tyrande raised his eyebrows and said nonchalantly: "It's a reasonable request. As long as it's not a gathering place for night elves, you can choose where to garrison at will."

Sure enough, this insidious woman had other plans. Mannoroth could not figure out the secret. He remembered what Archimonde had specially told him and added:

"But I have a condition. Night elves who are unwilling to accept evil energy must be allowed to leave Mount Hyjal."

"Impossible." Tyrande shouted in a high-pitched voice, her voice very harsh. (To be continued)
