Chapter 89: Silent Brill

A journey that just goes away.

Arthas had been disappointed with Lordaeron for a long time and had no nostalgia at all. He took out the package he had prepared and left immediately.

Except for the old mayor, no one in Deathstroke knows Alsace's true identity.

Robbie didn't want to hang around in Deathstroke Town. After traveling through the Dark Portal for twenty years, Robbie had an important mission, so he happily agreed to leave with Arthas.

Alsace begged two good horses from the mayor of the town, and he and Robbie rode on the road.

The old mayor saw him off. Looking at the prince's eager face and curiosity about the new world outside, the old mayor sighed softly: "Your Highness, come back and have a look when you have the opportunity."

"Haha, I will never come back. Mr. Mayor, you will hear about me soon. Arthas, oh, no, Roger the adventurer, the legend of Azeroth. If anyone asks you

, you must not say that I once slept in a tomb, haha, the Adventure King does not want people to know such embarrassing things."

The old mayor lowered his head and was silent for a long time, moved his lips several times, and finally couldn't help but say:

"Your Highness, do you know that as long as you are here, Deathstroke Town doesn't have to pay for food. What will happen to Deathstroke Town once you leave? We have so much food to feed the orcs. It's over, it's over. The end of Deathstroke Town has come."

Alsace's expression changed, and he turned around quickly. After a while, he saw another bright and smiling face.

"Haha, old mayor, the hard days will eventually pass. The future is full of hope. Never give up."

The old mayor had a worried face and hesitated for a long time before he said:

"Your Highness, there is something that must be said, otherwise the old man will feel uneasy. Since you came to Deathstroke Town, the king has written to you every day, asking if you are eating well, wearing warm clothes, and living in a habit you are used to.

He didn't let me tell you if you were lacking anything. I didn't dare to tell the king that you lived in the tomb, I just said that you were living a good life. Alas, in fact, the king did this to protect you...

.”

"Stop talking." Alsace waved his hand fiercely. He was not stupid at all and had already guessed the whole story.

"Go back, Mayor. My father exiled me to Deathstroke Town. I am grateful from the bottom of my heart. My disappointment in my father is another matter. It is getting late and we have to get on the road."

Alsace held back, forced out a smile, said goodbye to the old mayor, and embarked on the journey without looking back.

This journey was very slow, with stops and starts in Alsace, and it was difficult to leave the country behind.

Along the way, Alsace remained silent, and Robbie also remained silent.

Seeing nightfall, the two of them followed the road and rushed to Briar Town.

Looking at the hazy town not far away, Alsace finally calmed down, with a relaxed look on his face, winking and saying:

"Robbie, let me tell you a good place. Briar's inner street alley. There is a red sign hanging at the door. Hey, it's a pretty good place. There is a high elf girl inside. Her figure and appearance are incredible. Listen.

It is said that the high elf girls each have unique skills and special skills, and I will take you to see them tonight."

"It sounds like you are a regular visitor there?" Robbie asked with a smile. Seeing that Alsace had returned to normal, Robbie felt relieved a little.

"Of course, I'm a real man."

There was no confidence in Alsace's words, and his eyes were evasive. The young man had not yet learned to disguise.

I have determined to become a Paladin since I was a child. I have been careful in my words and deeds and adhered to the ways of knights. In addition to training in my daily life, I can only imagine that it must have been an ascetic-like and boring growing experience.

The two led the horses into the town of Brier. Before entering the town, the two horses refused to leave and were spinning on the ground. The horses' eyes were glowing red and full of fear, as if they were watching.

What a terrible sight.

I don’t know what happened, but the town under the night was surprisingly quiet and completely silent.

"This isn't right."

Alsace tied his horse to the wooden stake at the entrance of the town and drew the sword from his waist.

There are a lot of things in this time travel, and there is no place for the cursed torch. Robbie only has a dagger for self-defense.

The streets were empty and quiet, and the originally narrow roads seemed redundant. Every house was quiet, without any light, and the silence was so heart-breaking.

Alsace carefully pushed open the ajar door.

Everything is there in the house and the items are arranged in order, but there is no one there.

There was another house, but there was no one there. The two of them walked along the street and opened multiple doors, but no one could be seen.

Alsace grabbed Robbie's arm and stammered:

"I've heard of this kind of thing. A once prosperous town was emptied of people and animals overnight and turned into an empty ghost town. There have been more and more such supernatural things in the past two years. Some people say that there are hidden underground places in Lordaeron.

It’s about a certain ancient god, and some people say it’s the Curse Sect. Oh my God, my God, how could this happen?”

Alsace was obviously panicked, lost his calm, and his teeth kept chattering.

Alsace, you are a fierce man who dares to live in a tomb and be with a female corpse. Why are you so cowardly?

"Alsace, you are the man who wants to become the king of adventure." Robbie encouraged Alsace and himself. Fear can easily spread, and only by encouraging each other can we overcome difficulties.

"Yes, hahaha, I am a man who wants to become the King of Adventure, how could I be defeated by this little weirdness." Arthas laughed, his second soul revived, temporarily defeating his fear.

"I want to see if there is any weird existence, no matter what ancient god it is, just come and fight."

Alsace kicked open the door of a poor room, entered the room and rummaged around for a while, then came out, holding a beautifully embroidered bellyband in his hand, and couldn't stop looking at it.

"All weird things have clues to follow." Alsace became cautious, as if he had discovered something: "Robbie, have you seen this bellyband?"

"Is there any clue here?" Under the influence of Alsace, Robbie also became serious.

"When you see this bellyband, you should be able to think of it."

Alsace looked solemn and made two balls on his chest: "It's so big." He smelled it again and frowned: "It smells pungent and has body odor."

"See your clue."

Such an intercourse made both of them lose their sense of fear.

Reminded by Alsace, Robbie began to look for clues.

The streets were swept clean and all traces were erased.

This was not just caused by human effort, Robbie felt the power of elemental magic, and the earth and wind smoothed everything.

The two of them walked around the town, but still found nothing.

It was a hazy night, and the two of them were sitting on the steps of the church to rest.

"I think the two of us are worrying too much." Alsace said with a smile: "Maybe there is some ancient ceremony or some major celebration, and everyone went to participate."

"Shh, listen, what's the sound?"

Robbie concentrated and listened. It seemed that a group of people were whispering in his ears, but he couldn't hear it clearly.

"Alsace, did you hear..."

Turning around, Robbie was almost stunned when he saw Alsace's eyes bleeding.

"I saw it, no, no."

Alsace suddenly stood up, ran staggeringly, accidentally fell, got up, and still ran desperately, as if something was attracting him in front of him.

Robbie took a breath. This strange scene made his scalp numb. His reason told Robbie that he must follow Alsace.

Not far outside the town, there is an open field and solid soil.

"Here, this is it."

Alsace held the sword in both hands, took a deep breath, and thrust it into the ground.

"Holy light bursts."

The soil exploded and a huge pit appeared.

Layers of fresh bones were exposed, and everyone in the town was here.

Robbie was so frightened that he sat down on the ground.

There was a deafening howl all around,

"My miserable people."

Arthas knelt on the ground, tears streaming down his face. (To be continued)
