Don’t say “that’s all”. Although this is not an update, it is still necessary to chat with readers every once in a while. The main purpose is to share with you the status of writing and short-term plans for the future.
During this period of time, especially in the past half month, my writing status is actually not very good. I have no ideas during the day. Many times, I have to wait until twelve o'clock at night to update the second chapter. I am quite anxious and urgent.
In this state, it is difficult to write something that satisfies oneself.
In fact, the recent plot, although there has not been much ups and downs in the following reading, and it has even improved a bit, but for me, it is very unsatisfactory.
On the one hand, the detail processing is too rough; on the other hand, the plot tension is not enough, and it does not feel as if it was written as intended. The plot progression is somewhat flat and straightforward.
There are many reasons for this situation. The biggest reason is that I have not saved the manuscript, and I happen to encounter a lot of trivial matters in life, and I am in a bad writing state. If I have a few days to calm down to design the plot and save some manuscripts, the situation should be
It would be much better, but this is just a thought. The biggest difficulty is not in the readers, but in myself.
Since the beginning of the book, although I have asked for leave several times, I have never asked for it once. The very few updates have a bit more words. Without using a leave slip, I have received perfect attendance every month.
What I'm worried about is that if I ask for leave even once, the tight string in my mind will be broken, causing it to become normal to ask for leave in the future.
Of course, the direct consequence of holding on is the decline in writing status and the vicious cycle of procrastinating every day. If you see me asking for leave one day, you must have reached the limit.
From now on, I will try to update at two fixed times every day, tentatively set at 5pm and 10pm, and then I will save the manuscript and update it little by little. If you find that the update is not at this point, it means that I have failed to adjust...
There is one more thing that I think needs to be mentioned.
Throughout the third volume, starting from Shendu, I actually made adjustments to the way I wrote it.
The reason I can tell you is that when I was writing the first and second volumes, my grades were constantly declining. When I started the third volume, I changed my writing method and gradually brought the subscription back to the peak. At the end of October, it was still the same
It was 15,000, and now it’s 18,000. I originally expected to reach 20,000 before the end of the book. Judging from the current trend, maybe the goal can be raised a little bit.
Therefore, the time when people criticize and complain the most is actually the time when the grades rise the fastest. In fact, like many readers, I also like the method of the first volume, but that kind of writing is not suitable for daily updating, or in other words, I
I can't do it every day, so if I insist on forcing it, maybe you should scold me for spending three days fishing and two days drying the net.
The name of the third volume was originally called "The Unknown One", but was later changed to "The Light of the City of Gods". In my own design, the plot of this volume is more complex and exciting than the first volume.
, the ending is even more eye-catching. Later, I found that there was no way to guarantee daily updates and better grades under this design, so I changed the writing method and temporarily left the design of this volume to the future, perhaps this book.
The second half of the book, maybe the next book...
The adjustment of my writing style is not about surrendering to the market, nor is it being kidnapped by readers, because what I write must be something I like, and while I like it, of course I hope to achieve better results and will do something based on it.
Adjustment.
Finally, when you read my book, don’t think too much. What I want to convey to you is pure joy. When you read my book and you no longer feel joy, you can leave decisively without asking to be with you forever.
