Chapter 913 Ten thousand ghosts emerge from hell

Floods are the greatest disaster to agricultural civilization.

Once too much water accumulates in the earth's crust, rivers and lakes cannot be restrained, dams collapse, rivers change, and surging turbid water, gravel, and sand run unscrupulously across the vast land.

When people saw it, they compared it to a wild horse running wild’.

In the plain areas, once floods occur and houses are submerged, people have no choice but to escape, as fish and shrimps are the only food available.

Villages, towns, crops and farmland, everything is equal before the flood.

The turbid water contains not only sediment, but also all kinds of dead wood and debris. The water moves thousands of miles along, as fast as a galloping horse, carrying a huge force that crushes everything. Anyone who falls into the water will probably struggle for only a moment before being hit by the debris.

He was knocked unconscious and drowned in the turbid water.

In mountainous areas, floods wash away mountains and collapse them, creating even more terrifying flash floods.

A flash flood is like a brush that scrapes away the skin and flesh of the hard rock ground, cutting away layer by layer, leaving behind terrifying gullies.

Crops and livestock were all submerged and crushed to death by the rolling torrent of mud and rocks.

However, there is another disaster that is even more terrible than the flood, and its destructive power is thousands of times greater than the flood.

Floods are ruthless, and all living beings are equal under the turbulent waves.

But when the gates of hell open, hundreds of millions of evil ghosts who have been hungry for countless years will rush into the world and devour living people and livestock without mercy. All creatures of flesh and blood will not be spared.

Disasters caused by ghosts are larger than floods and more omnivorous than locusts, and no one in their path is spared.

With a thought in Buddhism, the gates of hell opened, and the evil ghosts looked up and howled when they saw the light falling from the sky.

The deep abyss leads to the depths of the earth. Everywhere on the cliff, layers of gray waves are creeping up. If you look closely, you can see that countless haunted house ghosts have their heads moving, grabbing each other's limbs and bodies, stacking up layer by layer.

.

Looking from a distance, one wave after another, the waves of ghosts turn into winding fish scale patterns, which is extremely spectacular.

"Hungry!"

There are billions of hungry ghosts who have been eating dirt underground all year round. Now that they have smelled the delicious smell of the human world, they can’t wait.

Therefore, each hungry ghost is like a drop of water, gathering into a wave and spreading at the underground exit to the human world, like a living carpet, squirming and rolling, changing into various shapes.

"Eat eat eat."

A ghost as strong as a small mountain, far superior to its kind, excitedly grabbed three or two ghosts around him, threw them directly into his mouth and chewed them.

Even so, it can only slightly relieve the hunger in the belly, and the surrounding ghosts don't care about it and rush forward feverishly.

For a time, the vast hell was filled with light beams projected from the cracks above the head, which seemed to guide the direction of the ghosts. Although the ghosts hated bright light, when they saw these lights, they knew that the door to the human world was open again.

Many ghosts born in the mind may not be conscious, but the old ghosts and dreams who have survived the last invasion of the human world still have the memory of delicious flesh and blood, and they are so excited that they can't help themselves.

After many years, I finally waited for this opportunity.

In order to accumulate strength, many powerful ghosts rushed out of hell and grabbed their companions to devour them. For a time, there were horrific scenes of cannibalism everywhere.

"So vicious and cruel, without any rules, the Shifang Ghost Tribe of the past no longer exists."

From a certain corner of hell, a faint sigh came from.

The Buddhism suppressed for many years, and any powerful ghosts that appeared appeared were captured and killed, and all ghosts were finally scattered. To this day, not only the ghosts in the human world, but also the ghosts in hell cannot remember the existence of the ghost tribe in the ten directions.

.

All that remains is the legend that the Buddha's light shines universally throughout the world in all directions, evil spirits are subdued, and believers are happy and peaceful.

When you go to the other country from hell to the human world, there are cracks everywhere in the earth's crust. The cracks extend downward, and there are countless steep and winding cliffs, leading straight to the depths of the Nine Netherworld.

The ghosts either evaporated into smoke, or climbed on their hands and feet, like underground springs gushing out, and the whole land collapsed for a while.

The first to bear the brunt are the people everywhere in the world. They are suddenly attacked, just like the crop fields washed away by floods. They are wiped out in the blink of an eye, leaving no trace.

Urgent calls came from all over the world, countless urgent letters were sent to all directions like snowflakes, and high-level officials in various countries were shocked. The ghost disaster that happened many years ago finally came to the world again.

"Hurry up and invite the Buddhist power."

Invariably, all the kings made the same choice. Faced with such a catastrophic disaster, ordinary people could not resist it, so they had no choice but to turn to the Buddhist Sangha, just like every time before.

A temple…

"Quickly mobilize the monk soldiers to block the main entrance wall. Also, take out all the magic weapons in the back hall after they are turned on and place them around me." A host in a gorgeous robe, with a rich and solemn appearance, at this moment

But he was furious.

"Impossible. The Patriarch has clearly said that although the ghost disaster is severe, it will not affect my Buddhist disciples."

The power of Buddhism naturally restrains ghosts. Every time a ghost disaster strikes, people suffer heavy casualties, but Buddhism remains safe and sound.

Because of this, high-level nobles from various countries are vying to worship Buddhism. Some nobles even donate their property and become monks, relying on the power of the Sangha. However, the timeless common sense has now been challenged.

"Host, you are an Arhat, what evil spirit can be your opponent?"

There was a monk who flattered me with a smile.

While he was talking, the outer courtyard wall collapsed with a rumble, killing seven or eight monk soldiers. Even the magic weapon that glowed with golden light was crushed and smashed. It was obvious that the temple could no longer be protected.

From the gap in the courtyard wall, I saw a small mountain of heads in front of me, eyes rolling, and falling on the host.

Such a big evil spirit, one eye alone is as big as a room.

The host was so shocked that his liver and gallbladder split. He quickly grabbed the flattering monk and pushed him forward, "Quickly block it."

The monk was at a loss and staggered forward a few steps. Before he could stand still, the huge eye shot out faint green fire and enveloped him. Mei didn't scream or cry for help, nor did she curse for help. She quietly burned to ashes and died.

The intact monk's robe fell to the ground.

The host looked around and saw that all the monks around him had run away. No one was there to act as a human shield for him. His feet were weak and he could hardly stand still.

"You, don't come here. I am a Buddhist Arhat, and I was canonized by the Lord Buddha himself."

He took out a golden book from his arms, and just as he was about to show it to the other party, the eyeball moved away from the gap.

The host breathed a sigh of relief, thinking that the evil ghost had retreated. Unexpectedly, the next moment, a strong wind blew up, and he smelled a fishy stench all around him like clouds and mist. Finally, his eyesight went dark.

Before he died, he suddenly realized, "It turns out that the evil ghost raised his head and opened his mouth to suck in, in order to distance himself, not to escape."

After the host was devoured, the golden book fell to the ground and was buried by the wind and sand. A golden light finally disappeared without a trace.

Boom, the temple collapsed, and the monks became food for evil spirits.
