176. Counterattack

Looking at the egg-laying opening that had not returned to its original state, Gu Zhuo felt a glimmer of hope: that might be an important breakthrough.

He then controlled an armed helicopter and blasted two shoulder-launched missiles on the tentacle tent. A hole briefly appeared in the tent. Although the time was short, it still bought Gu Zhuo enough time.

He stepped on the accelerator, and before the black curtain of tentacles crashed down, he rushed towards the egg-laying mouth.

The armed helicopter was again under the control of the mechanic. Its duty was to buy Gu Zhuo more time so that he would not be trapped in the attack of the giant octopus.

As if it felt that Gu Zhuo was rushing towards its weak point, the giant octopus no longer fought with the helicopter. No matter what kind of firepower the helicopter harassed it, it quickly retracted its tentacles and directly targeted Gu Zhuo.

Through the surveillance camera on the car, Gu Zhuo saw the tentacles of the giant octopus extending back rapidly, and knew that this guy wanted to deal with him.

He said silently in his mind:

"It's just you, right?"

the second time.

For the second time, he raised the Doomsday Fortress to the maximum speed: 470km/h. The previous speed increase was for escape, but this time, it was for a complete counterattack!

Originally, the tentacles were about to catch up to the rear of Gu Zhuo's car. Unexpectedly, Gu Zhuo suddenly increased his speed and directly left it behind, leaving only a puff of exhaust gas.

470km/h is such a terrifying concept. At the moment when no one could react, Jia Sheng saw Gu Zhuo driving out of the Doomsday Fortress one second, and the next second he heard a "bang".

The Doomsday Fortress hit the spawning opening of the giant octopus. As the bulldozer hit it, the already broken spawning opening immediately collapsed and was destroyed like a collapsed building.

A large number of shapeless octopus heads continuously emerged from the spawning mouth, like a large pool of dirty water, rolling out, making the sound of water stains being stepped on on the ground.

Gu Zhuo only felt that there was a slight obstruction in front of his car, but there was no excessive sense of stagnation. He did not step on the brakes and continued to rush forward.

Blood and flesh were flying everywhere, and it was not difficult for Gu Zhuo to imagine that his car must be extremely dirty, but fortunately, no part of it was damaged. Even the bulldozer in front of the car, which suffered the most impact, was still 100% durable.

The giant octopus was penetrated once again at this moment.

Only this time, the pierced wound seemed unable to recover.

Its tentacles began to shrink rapidly, like dry branches that had lost their moisture, crinkled and clinging to the side of its round, dark body.

It raised its tentacles that had not shrunk completely, picked up the octopus heads that were dripping on the ground, and threw them into its mouth, just like the last time in the fog. As long as it threw these octopus heads into its mouth, it seemed

Infinite regeneration will begin.

However, this time, no matter how many octopus heads it lifted from the ground and how many dirty pieces of meat it chewed, its spawning opening, which had been penetrated, never recovered.

The giant octopus stopped spinning at high speed and let out a weak roar.

Its roar is very strange, like the sound of a rusty door being rubbed against the ground when someone opens it.

With this low roar, Gu Zhuo turned the car around and saw that the black flesh all over the giant octopus was trembling. The moment it stopped spinning, there seemed to be several strong airflows suddenly blowing around. After a moment, those few

The gray wall disappeared.

The surrounding wind stopped roaring for an instant, as if the world was completely quiet at this moment.

A few seconds later, broken trees, torn animal carcasses, and unknown disgusting monsters all fell from the sky one after another, losing the sweep of the wind, making constant "snap-snap-snap" sounds.

They fell all over the woods, all proving that this terrible disaster really happened.

And that giant octopus is not dead.

Although it was trembling, the entire body made of black flesh was shrinking rapidly, and no small octopus head could emerge anymore.

But obviously, it was not dead. It stood up, and its already swollen body stood upright at this moment, showing it in front of everyone.

It turned out to be lying there all the time.

"Why does this guy feel a little bigger in the fog than last time..."

Gu Zhuo could only see a sudden blackness in front of his eyes, complete darkness, like a black hole swallowing up all the light. The people who saw it were frightened.

"If you get hit by this big guy, you'll probably be crippled..."

Gu Zhuo secretly thought about it.

After the giant octopus stood up from the ground, it did not choose to attack Gu Zhuo and the others. It let out another low roar, and it was not clear where the sound was coming from.

It trembled, and actually lifted its entire body into the air. Then in a way that completely exceeded the laws of physics, it launched itself out and disappeared in front of Gu Zhuo and others in an instant.

As Gu Zhuo sat in the car, he could feel a strong wind blowing past him. Jia Sheng's helicopter was also blown away, staggering and almost falling to the ground.

Everyone took a moment to accept these unbelievable facts:

The giant octopus was actually beaten away by them, and its escape method was completely beyond common sense.

Taking a deep breath, Gu Zhuo sat in the car and looked around. He saw that there was nothing on the ground that could threaten them. There were only countless corpses and dirt, and a forest that was once lush and now bare.

.

Jia Sheng took over the control of the helicopter and parked it on the ground.

Gu Zhuo unbuckled his seat belt and walked down from the Doomsday Fortress. Everything just happened seemed like a lifetime ago.

Stepping on the ground, the ground was sticky, and he didn't know if it was the liquid left by those monsters. Gu Zhuo raised his head and looked at the sky after the typhoon.

All the clouds in the sky were sucked away, as if they had experienced a great cleansing. Gray and blue were intertwined, and it was so depressing that your heart kept sinking.

But in the gray-blue sky, the sun was getting brighter and bigger. Gu Zhuo stared at it and felt that the sun was burning in his eyes, like a flower on fire.

sunflower.

This is the end of the world.

Everything is hopeless and broken, and nothing is intact as far as the eye can see.

Gu Zhuo thought of something and hurried to the cave hall where he and Jia Sheng had made a simple defense.

He opened the hall door and saw the white wolves clinging tightly to each other, shivering, and making low "wow" sounds from their throats. It seemed that they were all frightened, but they were all safe.

Nothing less.

Originally, when Gu Zhuo broke in, they were still very wary. When they saw that it was Gu Zhuo, they quickly stood up from the ground and surrounded him, treating him like a wolf king and surrounding him.

Gu Zhuo breathed a sigh of relief when he saw that nothing happened to the white wolves.

"Gu Zhuo!"

Chaoying and Sam chased after him. Just when Gu Zhuo got out of the car, she was unbuckling her seat belt. She was afraid that he would be seriously stimulated when he faced the monster head-on.

Now when she caught up with Gu Zhuo, she hugged him tightly. Sam was surrounded by the group of white wolves.

"I'm fine, I just feel incredible. Everything is real and illusory at the same time. I can't describe what I feel."

Gu Zhuo comforted her gently.

"Well, you're fine."

Chaoying said, his head pressed against Gu Zhuo's back for a while, then he moved away again, handed the watch in his hand to Gu Zhuo, and continued:

"Look at this."

Gu Zhuo took the watch from her and saw that it was one o'clock in the afternoon.

"this..."

Gu Zhuo's eyes widened and he suddenly understood what Chao Ying wanted to express.

According to the previous rules, this typhoon must last ten hours before stopping, but now, only about five or six hours have passed since the typhoon started and ended!

The two looked at each other: there must be some connection between this that they have not discovered!
