298. The moving prison

Gu Zhuo took out the drone that he had not used for a long time and tinkered with it a few times, adding heat sinks and coolant to ensure that it could still be used normally under two rounds of scorching sun. After tinkering with it, he opened the window.

Release the drone.

When exposed to the high temperature outside, the drone's body made a thin "buzzing" sound, just like the sound of a fan spinning when a computer is running a 3a masterpiece at full strength.

"It looks like it can fly, but I guess it won't be able to fly for long. The two suns are too poisonous."

Gu Zhuo controlled the drone and said to Chaoying.

Chaoying came closer to Gu Zhuo, watching the picture transmitted by the drone with him, and said:

"It's okay, let's try our luck."

"good."

Hearing this, Gu Zhuo flew the drone aimlessly over the desert.

The drone didn't fly very fast, and Gu Zhuo was afraid that if he flew it too fast, the heat sink wouldn't be able to rotate, which would directly burn the entire machine.

It flew slowly deep into the desert. Gu Zhuo saw in the picture that the desert land was very cracked. It looked like the wrinkles and ravines hanging on the face of an old man in his old age.

spread across the entire screen.

"It's so dry. Logically speaking, a pool of spring water should be very conspicuous."

Gu Zhuotong said to Chaoying.

Chaoying nodded:

"Fly again, don't be in a hurry, the drone just took off not long ago."

Gu Zhuo controlled the drone and continued flying deeper into the desert.

Flying over the cracked land, there is a yellow desert. The sand now reflects the golden brilliance of the sun, scorching, and the whole scene seems to be covered with a layer of flash.

"In this place, the land and the desert are connected together. It's too dry."

Gu Zhuo felt his mouth go dry when he saw the picture coming from him. He couldn't help but swallow his saliva, then picked up the mineral water on the side and took a sip to feel better.

This is the first day of severe drought.

He couldn't imagine what would happen in the future if these two suns were allowed to shine like this.

The drone continued to fly, and there were several towering sand dunes stretching in the desert.

At this time, these sand dunes and the sand that composed them rolled down slowly, but as they rolled down, they re-formed the bottom of the dunes, so the sand dunes did not become lower because of this, but remained tall.

Gu Zhuo always felt that something was hidden in these sand dunes, although he knew better than anyone that there was actually nothing inside except sand.

The drone flew over the sand dunes. Looking around, the yellow sand covered the sky and the sun, and there was nothing.

Gu Zhuo accidentally saw a few believers from the Prophet Sect. They were walking tirelessly in the desert. Those who didn't know better thought they were ascetics who would never look back until they hit the wall.

"Now I feel that Wan Sui's method is of no use at all."

Gu Zhuoyue frowned deeper and deeper as he looked at the scene from the drone.

This desert is so vast that the sights captured by his drone are endless. He expects Wansui's followers to walk across the entire desert on their feet to find the hidden treasures hidden somewhere.

Space cracks are as difficult as finding a needle in a haystack.

Chaoying also knew that if things continued like this, it would be futile and useless, but now there was no other way. He could only hope that Gu Zhuo would quickly find the whereabouts of the spring water, and then try to see if he could see anything.

The drone flew for a while, and in the endless yellow desert, Chaoying suddenly noticed something with his sharp eyes.

"Gu Zhuo, wait a moment and fly the drone back a little."

"What's wrong?"

"Fly back a little, don't fly too much."

Following Chao Ying's instructions, Gu Zhuo flew the drone back a little distance, and then Chao Ying leaned forward with his whole body, almost touching his face.

She pointed to a point on the screen and said in the yellow sand:

"Gu Zhuo, what do you think this is?"

Gu Zhuo looked along the direction of her finger and saw a white dot in the midst of the dazzling golden color.

The white dot is very inconspicuous, but if you look carefully, you still find that it is somewhat different from the surrounding scene.

"I don't know, I took a closer look."

Gu Zhuo obviously became curious about that place. He flew the drone closer to the white spot. Unexpectedly, he waited until the drone flew low enough to see the thing clearly.

Gu Zhuo and the other two were surprised.

That was actually the Salt Lake Prison that disappeared out of thin air!

"What the hell, why is this Salt Lake Prison here?"

Gu Zhuo couldn't believe it, so he flew the drone lower.

He saw the statue in front of the Salt Lake Prison, those white walls, and the iron door. These all showed that this was the Salt Lake Prison!

Not only that, after flying the drone low, Gu Zhuocai discovered that the Salt Lake Prison was actually moving at high speed, just like a vehicle!

When it moved, it blew up the sand behind it, filling the sky with yellow sand. The background of the entire prison looked like a special photography film shot in the desert.

"What is this? A moving fortress?"

Gu Zhuo didn't know what the moving principle of the Salt Lake Prison was, but he finally figured out why the Salt Lake Prison disappeared inexplicably that day.

It turns out that this prison can move on its own!

And it looks like it's moving at the same speed as an ordinary RV.

"Could Chen Haidao's superpower be related to this?"

Chaoying asked as he stared at the moving prison on the screen.

Gu Zhuo followed her and speculated:

"Definitely, but I can't guess the specifics. It probably has something to do with the architecture."

"It has something to do with architecture?"

"Yes, when I saw the statue in front of the Salt Lake Prison that day, I felt strange. In my impression, there was no such statue in front of the Salt Lake Prison. It was like it appeared out of thin air.

"Do you think someone would go out of their way to build a big statue in the apocalypse just to look good?"

Listening to Gu Zhuo's speculation, Chao Ying shook his head firmly:

"Won't."

"So, since there is such an abnormal building at the entrance of the Salt Lake Prison, it can only mean that for the owner of the prison, that is, Chen Haidao, it is either very necessary to build it, or the construction process is very easy.

"I personally prefer the latter."

"you're right."

Chaoying also agreed with him.

But these speculations were useless now. Gu Zhuo looked at the screen again and saw the big prison heading southeast.

Gu Zhuo couldn't see any clue, so he asked Chaoying:

"Can you tell which direction they are going?"

Chaoying looked carefully. There were no particularly conspicuous landmarks in the desert to identify the direction, and she couldn't tell where she was going. She shook her head.

"No matter what, let's follow them first. What if these guys are also looking for space cracks? After all, from the outside, that thing is just a pool of spring water. They must be short of water now."

Gu Zhuo said, flying the drone to a height where it was not easily seen by the people inside the Salt Lake Prison, and followed them closely.

The Salt Lake Prison is still moving, just like a previous steampunk science fiction novel: "Moving City".

It's just a big prison, not as big as a city.

But it was still very shocking when it moved. Gu Zhuo couldn't imagine what it would be like to move in this desert if it was really a mobile city.

After following Gu Zhuoyue for a long time in the Salt Lake Prison, he realized that something was wrong.

Chao Ying also noticed something. When Gu Zhuo hesitated to ask Chao Ying, she suddenly knew where the feeling of something wrong came from.

"Its direction doesn't seem to be looking for any spring water at all. Have you noticed that it seems to be coming towards us!"

After Chaoying's reminder, Gu Zhuo took a closer look and compared them.

Sure enough, the Salt Lake Prison was coming in their direction!

"It shouldn't be. Does Chen Haidao know that we are here? How could he know, and what is he here for now?"

Chao Ying shook her head. She didn't know what Chen Haidao meant. The only thing she was sure of was that the Salt Lake Prison was indeed coming towards them.

"Do you want to tell Wan Sui and the others? Let them be prepared. After all, we are staying with them now."

Gu Zhuo asked Chaoying.

Chaoying thought for a while, nodded, and said:

"Tell them, Chen Haidao doesn't know whether he is an enemy or a friend yet, but at least the Prophetic Sect is with us now."

"OK."

While Gu Zhuo was watching the screen and controlling the drone, he turned on the loudspeaker and spoke to Wansui outside:

"Wan Sui, my drone saw someone coming! It's Chen Haidao! He controls the entire Salt Lake Prison!"

Wansui was still sitting in the car at this time, waiting for news about Zuo Qing and the two. Now hearing Gu Zhuo's words, she frowned:

Chen Haidao?

She knew this person, but Wansui didn't know why he came here now.

Wansui rolled down the window and asked Gu Zhuo:

"Are you sure it's him?"

"I'm sure that my drone captured the entire moving Salt Lake Prison. The Salt Lake Prison is Chen Haidao's territory, and he is a superpower. Who else could be there besides him?"

Hearing this, Wansui was silent for a while before answering:

"I understand, then when will he arrive?"

Gu Zhuo looked at the screen. Although he could see that Chen Haidao was rushing towards them, he didn't know how far away he was. He answered Wan Sui truthfully.

As soon as he finished answering, he saw that the speed of Salt Lake Prison suddenly accelerated a lot, like a car that suddenly stepped on the accelerator and accelerated.

"Looking at this situation, he will probably be here in about ten minutes."

Chaoying said abruptly from the side.

"Ten minutes?"

"Um."

Gu Zhuo repeated Chaoying's words to Wansui.

"I know, I will be ready!"

After Wansui answered Gu Zhuo, she rolled up the car window again and said to the two men beside her:

"Did you hear everything? Get ready, another troublemaker is coming."

Zuo Qing nodded:

"I heard it, leader, don't worry, no matter what kind of troublemaker it is, I will make sure it never comes back."
