604. A father's worry thinks of a good family

If you don't go back, don't go back. Qin Jian will give himself a few days of vacation.

However, there seemed to be a small problem when checking in to the hotel.

Seeing two beautiful little beauties lined up behind an old man and a young woman, they seemed to be ready to check in, but the old bartender seemed to have something wrong when communicating with the front desk staff.

The old bartender's plan was for Qin Jian to stay with him on the 21st floor of the hotel, but the staff told him that was not possible because Qin Jian's passport number did not appear on the invitation list in the hotel system.

The 21st floor has already been booked in advance by the organizer of this event.

"I'm sorry Mr. Daniel, this is against the rules."

The hotel staff once again reasonably rejected the glaring old bartender.

As a second-generation rich man from Bergen and a VIP member of Opus, the old bartender felt that he was very shameless at this time, but considering that there were two beauties watching behind him, he still acted like a gentleman.

An understanding smile.

"Okay, please allow me to make a phone call."

As he said that, he took out his mobile phone and made a call.

Although Qin Jian couldn't understand Norwegian, he still had a general idea because his passport was returned by the staff at the check-in platform.

The old bartender held the phone and only spoke a few words before hanging up. Then within a few seconds, the front desk phone rang.

The front desk staff member answered the phone and seemed to have received some instructions. After hanging up the phone, he checked in to Qin Jian on the 21st floor.

The whole process takes less than two minutes.

After checking in, the old bartender turned around and handed a note with the room card into Qin Jian's hand, "Your room is next to mine."

"Thank you, uncle."

Qin Jian took the room card and the two of them left calmly. The old bartender took one last look at the two beauties beside him.

After the two walked a certain distance, the old bartender suddenly said: "They are Finns."

"You can see this?" Qin Jian was convinced.

The old bartender smiled proudly and said, "Their conductor and I are old friends. Tonight I will introduce you to the current conductor of the Helsinki Symphony Orchestra."

Qin Jian: "An old guy?"

Old bartender: "A great beauty."

The two of them entered the elevator as they spoke. After the two Finnish beauties at the front desk checked in, a string quartet from the Paris Symphony Orchestra also entered the hotel.

Duan Hong is in this team, he is the cellist in this string quartet.

...

...

The first event on the first day of the festival was an open-air symphony, performed by the local Bergen symphony orchestra.

The stage is on the Grieg Music Square.

With 20 minutes left before the symphony, Qin Jian came to the crowded square alone.

Five minutes ago, the old bartender told him: "I have to meet some old friends, you can take a look around."

Just play by yourself.

While walking among the lively crowd, Qin Jian did not forget to look around for a person.

According to the time clues provided by Duan Ran, her father should also be nearby.

Qin Jian is still a little nervous~

"I wish I had known that I would have paid him a visit when I went to Paris last time."

Soon the whole square became quiet. Although it was not as quiet as the concert hall, it was much better than before.

At least Qin Jian could hear the movement on the stage from a distance.

The symphony orchestra took its seats on the stage, and a conductor with the Mediterranean Sea on his head came on stage to applause.

The concert begins.

The first piece played by the Bergen Symphony Orchestra was, without any surprise, a work by Grieg.

"Peer Gynt Suite."

The flute, like a fresh pastoral, brought out the theme of the first suite in a melody composed of pentatonic scales, and the idyllic tranquility and warmth immediately infected the entire square.

Listening to the solo of the principal flute of the Bergen Symphony Orchestra, Qin Jian lamented when a fat man would be able to play such a sound.

Immediately after the solo of the principal flute was continued by the oboe, in the development of the melody, the entire orchestra led by strings showed vitality like the sunrise on the Bergen coast in the morning.

Without this period of life experience in Bergen, Qin Jian would not have been able to feel the true emotions expressed by Grieg in the music.

The 36-minute suite finally ends with the last chapter Solveig's Song, which was the last encore piece at Qin Jian's church recital not long ago.

“In terms of creating mood and atmosphere, a piano really cannot match a symphony orchestra.”

Along with the roar of applause in the square, Qin Jian also applauded.

During the next performance time.

Afterwards, the orchestra played Grieg's symphonic dances, which were still very beautiful.

It is worth mentioning that the last piece is Carnival Afternoon, written by the new Norwegian composer Zarfa, and performed by the composer himself as the conductor.

Subverting the structure of the traditional symphony, Zarfa disrupted the conventional order of the four movements, starting with an adagio and ending in sonata form.

The whole music has the iconic style of twentieth century music.

At the end of the performance, there was still huge applause from the audience.

...

The activity here has just ended, and other activities have started immediately.

The Music Square got into carnival again with the cheerful performance of the marching percussion band. At the same time, the main hall and auxiliary hall of the Grieg Concert Hall and the small chamber music hall began to perform performances by musicians from all over Europe.

The repertoire is so numerous and the performances so intensive that as long as you have the time and the will, you can listen to it all the way into the evening.

But the prerequisite is that you must have an invitation letter from the music festival or purchase a package ticket that allows you to enter and exit various music venues.

Qin Jian didn't have an invitation letter, so he could only pay 150 euros and queue up to buy a package ticket.

The package package comes with a Chinese-English translation of his music festival introduction, which details the dates and times of each series of concerts.

After finding a cafe, Qin Jian ordered a dessert set and started studying it.

After flipping through it, he circled a few must-see performances.

The first is a new chamber music show tomorrow morning. According to the introduction, the music works in this performance are basically new works in the past two years, and the composers are basically new composers from Europe.

Next is the Chamber String Quartet of the Paris Symphony Orchestra tomorrow night, Duan Ran’s performance must be praised.

Finally, there will be a special national concert in the afternoon the day after tomorrow. This performance by the Helsinki Symphony Orchestra not only includes famous symphonic works from various Nordic countries, but can be caught in one concert.

What's more important is that the last piece of music includes Rach's Piano Concerto No. 3. Qin Jian thought about it. Since it is a special performance of national music, it is not surprising that Rage's works appear.

And the performer Griesbeck can be regarded as Finland’s national treasure pianist.

"OK."

After delineating the three must-see concerts, Qin Jian's basic itinerary for these three days was finally decided.

After finishing dessert, Qin Jian sat in the cafe and sent a message back to Duan Ran. At meal time, he planned to go find the old bartender.

Eat rice.
