747. The Gift of Gathering and Leaving Ido

At 8 o'clock sharp the next morning, Qin Jian arrived at the Warsaw Philharmonic Hall on time as if he were at work.

He needs to practice the piano today and work out the program list for two concerts in the next three days before the afternoon.

At 8:30, he walked into the piano room specially provided for him by the competition organizer and started morning practice.

...

According to the staff, "He likes to practice scales very much. He has been playing scales all morning. There are all kinds of scales, and some scales sound extremely fast."

"He is a very hardworking person. After lunch, he only rested for a quarter of an hour and started practicing again."

...

At 16:50, Qin Jian came out of the piano room a little tired, handed two handwritten repertoire lists to the staff, and then left.

After returning to the hotel, he went to the restaurant on the first floor and ordered a thick soup and vegetable pancakes, and then returned to the room.

In the evening, he translated 4 more pages of the document, and there was still one whole chapter left to complete the translation of this long document.

Qin Jian plans to complete it before the end of the year.

After a day's work, he breathed a sigh of relief.

A fulfilling day.

After taking a shower, Qin Jian went to bed and made a video call with Duan Ran.

The two talked about tomorrow's itinerary, and Duan Ran asked Qin Jian if his luggage was packed.

Only then did Qin Jian remember that he had not dealt with it yet.

Duan Ran: "Get up and clean up quickly."

Qin Jian: "I'm too tired. Let's talk about it when we get up tomorrow morning."

Duan Ran: "If you pack it up today, you won't have to worry about it tomorrow."

Qin Jian's face was expressionless and he remained motionless.

Duan Ran: "Oh, my husband is obedient. Get up quickly. There will be benefits soon."

Qin Jian: "I'm not doing it for any welfare."

Putting down his cell phone, Qin Jian got up.

He started to move while listening to the chatter coming from the phone.

"Dress."

"Shoes, wipe your shoes yourself again."

"The socks are in the drawer on the left side of the closet. I have washed them for you."

"There's also a change of underwear there."

"And a water glass."

"..."

Under the command of Little Fatty Duan Yitong, Qin Jian quickly packed up tomorrow's luggage.

When everything was done, Qin Jian gave Duan Ran a special look.

Duan Ran: "Awesome."

Qin Jian leaned back on the bed and winked at the camera as if to hint that the other party should hand over the benefits quickly.

In the video screen, Duan Ran smiled and kissed him.

"That's it?"

Qin Jian quit.

"Teacher Qin, you are so impatient."

Qin Jian turned off the lights.

...

...

At 9 o'clock the next morning, Qin Jian came to the Warsaw Music Hall and continued practicing until noon.

After having a meal with the staff at 12 noon, he flew from Chopin International Airport to Krakow at 13:30 in Paroken, accompanied by two staff members and an interpreter.

An hour later, the plane arrived at Krakow Airport.

After getting off the plane, special staff helped Qin Jian take his luggage to the hotel.

He, along with Parroken and his translator, took a special car directly from the special passage at the airport to the Krakow Concert Hall located next to the central square in downtown Krakow.

"My hometown is here."

Feeling the scenery along the way, the translator translated Paroken's words for Qin Jian.

“It feels more prosperous than Warsaw.”

Qin Jian said as he looked at the cityscape outside the car window.

...

As the second largest city in Poland, Krakow was once the historical capital of Poland.

During the Renaissance, Poland maintained its reputation as one of the most advanced countries in Europe for a long time.

Krakow is one of the centers of European culture and science.

"Copernicus was educated at the University of Krakow."

Passing by the University of Krakow, Parokken introduced Qin Jian.

The car continued to drive forward, and the ancient Gothic buildings were full of European style.

Qin Jian felt that he liked Klikov more than Warsaw.

"Ahead is the central square."

Following the translation, Qin Jian looked around and saw a world made of red bricks and stones in the distance as if waving to him.

Hexindao is truly worthy of being the largest medieval square in Europe.

The car gradually slowed down and finally stopped in front of a church-like building with a steeple.

Through the car window, Qin Jian saw his concert poster hanging high on the high red wall outside the concert hall gate.

Next to it is the ‘Cracow Concert Hall’

When everyone got out of the car, a man with a mustache wearing round glasses and a tall secretary came up to them.

Under the introduction of the translator, Parroken introduced Qin Jian: "This is the person in charge of the Krakow Concert Hall, Mr. Slawik."

Slawik's mustache curled from side to side, and he saluted Mr. Qin Jian, "Welcome, Mr. Qin Jian."

Qin Jian took the initiative to shake hands with the other party and said, "jin ku ye (thank you)."

He knows very little Polish.

After exchanging a few pleasantries, Slawik led a group of people into the concert hall and headed to tonight's performance.

On the way, Qin Jian's accompanying translator and Slawik's female secretary discussed the performance process of the concert.

When we arrived at the venue, the piano was already in place on the stage.

The brand new Steinway D-274s is ready for Qin Jian’s debugging.

The conductor of the Cleveley Symphony Orchestra, Kenyev, and all the orchestra members were also waiting for him for a long time.

No one bothered him for the next hour.

After testing the stage effects and sound, Qin Jian was quite satisfied. It was two levels behind the Golden Hall and the Warsaw Philharmonic Hall, but it was still considered a good concert hall.

During the communication with Kenyev, the other party tried his best to meet all the needs during the period.

Kenyev told Qin Jian that he would fully cooperate with the concert tonight.

At 17:30 in the afternoon, Qin Jian finished the stage work.

With the coordination of the translator, he went over the repertoire and program flow with tonight's stage director for the last time, and then he just waited until the audience arrived.

At 18:30, Qin Jian left Cleveley Concert Hall and attended a more intermittent official photo event after the meal.

At 19:00, he will go back to the concert hall to prepare.

At this time, the audience had already entered the concert hall one after another.

At 19:30, with a bell ringing, the concert began.

..

“Wow——————————————”

Qin Jian took the stage with applause.

In the first half, Qin Jian presented Impromptu Op.29, Fantasia Op.49, Nocturne Op.15, Scherzo Op.31 and a complete set of four mazurkas Op.30.

This repertoire is his carefully considered performance repertoire.

One of them involves Chopin's works from various periods.

Especially the design of Nocturne Op.15, this was a suggestion given to him by Marek, who told him that the people of Cleveley loved this nocturne.

The second is that he wanted to try out what kind of live effect such a track design would produce.

From the constant calls from the midfielder, he knew that his first half should be a success.

Second half.

Chopin's Piano Concerto No. 1, which he performed with the Cleveley Orchestra, won the biggest applause from the audience.

The audience could feel the enthusiasm from the young champion, and they would not be stingy with their applause.

Under warm applause, Qin Jian ended his Cleveley concert.

After the concert, he said in an interview with local media: "I like this city."
