'Earth God'

Once upon a time there was a rich king who had three daughters. They went for a walk in the palace garden every day. The king loved all the beautiful trees, especially an apple tree. If anyone picked an apple from the tree, he would curse him.

Down to the eighteenth level of hell.

Whenever there is a good harvest, the apples on this tree are as red as blood. The three daughters go to the tree every day to see if the wind will blow off the apples, but they never find any. The apples hanging on the tree almost break the tree.

, the branches had drooped to the ground. The king's youngest daughter wanted to get an apple very much. She said to her sisters: "Our father loves us very much. He will not curse us to hell. I believe he only does this to strangers."

As she spoke, she picked a big apple and ran to her sisters and said, "Try it, my dear little sisters, I have never tasted such a delicious thing in my life."

Her two sisters also took a few bites of the apple, and at that moment all three of them sank deep into the ground, where they no longer heard the rooster crow.

At noon, the king wanted to call them back for dinner, but they could not be found anywhere. He searched all over the palace and gardens, but still could not find them. He felt that he was in big trouble, so he told the whole country who could send his daughters to him.

Whoever finds it can marry one of them.

They are kind-hearted, beautiful and generous, so they are loved by everyone, so countless young people travel all over the country to look for them.

Three young hunters also went out to search. When they walked on the eighth day, they arrived at a large castle and found that there were beautiful houses inside. In one room there was a table with exquisite dishes on it, and the dishes were still steaming.

, but there was no one or movement in the whole castle. They waited there for a long time, and the food was still steaming hot. Finally, they were really hungry, so they sat down to eat, and everyone agreed to live in the castle.

But they had to draw lots to choose one person to stay in the house, and the other two went out to look for the king's daughter. They started to draw lots, and the result was that the eldest brother won the lot. The next day the two younger brothers went out to search, and the eldest brother stayed in the house.

At noon, a very small dwarf came to ask for a piece of bread. The hunter found a loaf of bread and cut off a piece of bread to give to him. However, the dwarf did not take it and the bread fell to the ground. The dwarf asked the hunter to pick up the piece of bread.

Give it to him again, and when the hunter stoops to do so, the dwarf takes a stick, seizes him by the hair, and beats him severely.

The next day, the second child stayed in the house, and the same thing happened to him. In the evening, the other two came back, and the elder asked the second child: "How are you today?"

"Why, that's unlucky," he said, and the two of them quietly confided their troubles to each other, but did not tell the third brother that they did not like him at all, and often called him Silly Hans, because he did not

Don't understand the ways of the world.

On the third day, the third brother stayed in the house, and the dwarf came again and asked for a piece of bread. When the third brother gave it to him, as before, he let the bread fall again, and then asked the third brother to pick it up for him. But Hans said

: "Why can't you pick it yourself? If you are not even willing to put in such a small amount of labor, you are not qualified to get daily food."

The dwarf was really angry and insisted that he choose, but Hans not only refused to do it, but also grabbed the dwarf and beat him soundly. At this time, the dwarf cried out: "Don't hit him."

Come on, stop fighting. If you spare me, I will tell you where the king's daughter is."

When Hans heard this, he let him go. The dwarf told Hans that he was an earth god, and there were thousands like him. If Hans was willing to go with him, he could take Hans to the palace of the king's daughters.

Hiding place. Then they came to a deep well, which was a dry well.

The dwarf told Hans that he knew that Hans' companions had been dishonest to Hans, so if he wanted to send the king's daughters back, he would have to do it alone. Once his two brothers knew that the king's daughters had been

They will be very happy when they are discovered, but they will not put in any labor or risk. So Hans has to get a big basket, his hunting knife and a bell and sit in the basket and sink it into the well.

Bottom. There are three houses at the bottom of the well. There is a princess in each house. Each princess is catching lice for a multi-headed dragon. He must chop off the heads of each dragon. After saying this, the dwarf disappears.

Already.

The two brothers came back in the evening and asked him how he was, and he said: "It's pretty good." and told them that they saw a dwarf at noon today. The dwarf came to beg for a piece of bread from him. He gave some to the dwarf, and the dwarf

But he let the bread fall to the ground and asked Hans to pick it up for him. When he didn't agree, the dwarf began to scold him, which made him angry, so he beat the dwarf. The dwarf who was beaten told

The hiding place of his king's daughters.

After listening, the two brothers were so angry that their faces turned green and yellow. Early the next morning, they came to the well together and drew lots to decide who would be the first to sit in the basket. The eldest brother won the lottery again. He sat with a bell.

into the basket. Then he warned: "As soon as I ring the bell, you must pull me up quickly."

As soon as he had gone down a little, he began to ring the bell, and they immediately pulled him up.

The middle child was the second to sit in the basket, but like the eldest, he got up quickly.

It was the third brother's turn, and he went down to the bottom of the well. He came out of the basket, pulled out the knife, walked to the first door and stood there. Hearing the dragon's loud snoring, he slowly opened the door and saw a princess.

Sitting there, the nine heads of the nine-headed dragon were resting on her legs, and she was catching lice from the dragon. He raised his knife and chopped off all nine heads of the dragon. The princess jumped up and hugged him with her arms.

neck, hugging him and kissing him passionately, and hanging her pure gold breast ornament on his chest. Then he rescued the second princess who was catching lice for the five-headed dragon, and finally he gave it to the four-headed dragon.

The little princess whose lice the dragon caught was also rescued.

The three princesses were very happy and hugged him and kissed him constantly. At this time, he rang the bell vigorously so that the people above could hear. He first put the princesses into the basket one by one and pulled them up. But when it was his turn,

When he came to himself, he remembered what the dwarf warned his companions about harming him. So he picked up a big stone from the bottom of the well and put it into the basket. When the basket rose into the air, the sanctimonious brothers on the ground chopped it off.

The rope, basket and stones fell to the bottom of the well.

They thought he was dead, so they ran away with the three princesses, and forced them to promise to tell their father that they had rescued them. So they met the king and asked each of them to marry a princess.

At the same time, the youngest hunter was wandering around the three rooms in panic, giving up hope of surviving. When he saw the flute hanging on the wall, he said: "Where are you hanging it?"

No one is happy here." He looked at the dragon's head and said, "You can't help me now." He walked back and forth for a long time, and the ground was made slippery by his steps.

In desperation, he took off the flute from the wall and played a few notes. Suddenly, several dwarfs appeared. Then every time he played a note, a dwarf appeared. So he kept playing until the room was full.

It's full of dwarfs.

They all asked him what he wanted to do, and he said he wanted to return to the ground under the blue sky. After hearing this, the dwarfs grabbed every hair on his head and flew him to the ground. As soon as he came up, they immediately went

Arriving at the palace, just as a princess was preparing for her wedding, he entered the room where the king and his three daughters were staying. The princesses fainted at the sight of him.

Seeing this scene, the king was furious and ordered him to be thrown into the cell immediately because the king believed that he had hurt the children. The princesses woke up and asked the king to let him go. The king asked why, but they did not dare to say, so the king let him go.

They said to the stove. The king himself went out, stood outside the door and listened, and understood the whole story. Then he sent the two brothers to the gallows and married the little princess to the third.
