'Dianthus Flower'

Once upon a time there was a queen, but God did not give her a child. Every morning she would go to the garden and pray to God to give her a son and a half.

Later, God sent an angel and said to her: "Don't worry, you will have a son, and he has the ability to turn hopes into reality. He can get anything in the world as long as he wants it."

The queen told the king the good news. Soon the queen actually gave birth to a son, and the king was very happy.

Every morning the queen took the child to the garden where various wild animals were kept, and bathed in a clear stream. The child gradually grew up.

One day, when the little prince was lying in his mother's arms and the queen was taking a nap, an old cook came over. Knowing that the child had the ability to turn wishes into reality, he stole him away and hid him in a secret place.

He got a wet nurse to nurse him. Then he killed a chicken and dripped the chicken's blood on the queen's apron and clothes. Then he came to the king and accused the queen of being careless and causing the child to be eaten by wild beasts.

When the king saw the blood stains on the queen's body, he believed it and fell into extreme sadness. He ordered people to build a tower that was too high to see the light of day, and locked the queen up for seven years without giving her food or water.

, let her slowly starve to death.

God sent two angels who turned into two white doves to deliver food twice a day for seven years.

The chef thought to himself: "If the child really has the power to grant wishes and I am in the palace, he may cause trouble for me."

So he left the palace and went to the place where the child was hidden, and said to the prince who could already speak: "Let yourself wish for a beautiful palace with a garden, and all the supplies that go with it."

As soon as the child finished speaking, everything was already before his eyes.

After a while, the chef said to him again: "It's not good for you to be alone. Find a beautiful girl to keep you company."

As soon as the prince said yes, a beautiful girl stood in front of him. No painter could describe her beauty. The two of them played games together and loved each other with all their hearts. The cook acted like a nobleman.

Went out hunting.

He suddenly remembered that one day the prince might want to live with his father, then he would be in danger of being killed! So he came back, grabbed the girl and said: "Tonight, when the child falls asleep, you go to his bedside

Go get his sword and insert it into his chest, take out his tongue and heart and give them to me. Otherwise I will kill you!" After that, he left.

When he came back the next day, the girl not only failed to do as he asked, but also asked: "Why should I kill an innocent child? He has never hurt anyone."

The chef then said: "If you don't do what I ask, I will kill you."

After he left, the girl had a deer caught and killed, and the heart and tongue were taken out and put on a plate. When she saw the old man coming, she quickly said to the little boy: "Lie down quickly and cover yourself with clothes."

."

The villain came in and asked, "Where are the child's heart and tongue?"

The girl handed the plate to the old chef, but the prince lifted the quilt and said: "You old scoundrel! Why do you want to kill me? I will condemn you now: turn into a black poodle and put a collar around your neck."

Wearing a gold collar, you have to eat hot coals until your throat is on fire."

As soon as he finished speaking, the old man turned into a black dog, with a gold collar around his neck so that he could not move around. The prince ordered someone to bring red-hot charcoal, and the black dog had to stuff it into his mouth until the food came out of his throat.

flame.

The prince stood for a while, thinking of his mother, wondering whether she was still alive. He said to the girl: "I am going back to my own country. If you will go with me, I will provide you with everything you need."

"

"Oh, it's such a long way," the girl replied, "and we're in a strange country, and no one knows me. What am I going to do?" She seemed reluctant to go with her, but the prince didn't want to part ways.

, so I hope she turns into a beautiful carnation flower and takes it with me.

Then, the prince set off, and the black dog had to run behind him. The prince came to the tall tower where his mother was imprisoned, hoping that there would be a long ladder so that he could climb to the top, and the ladder actually appeared.

He climbed to the top and shouted: "Dear Your Majesty the Queen, are you still alive?"

The queen replied: "I have just finished eating, and I am still full now." The queen thought it was the two angels.

The prince added: "I am your dear son! You thought I was eaten by wild beasts before, but I am still alive and I want to save you!"

He climbed down from the tower to see his father. At first he told someone that he was a hunter and asked the king if he needed anything. The king said that as long as he was proficient in hunting and could catch prey.

At that time, there had never been deer in this country, and the hunter agreed to catch as many deer as the palace wanted. He called all the hunters into the forest, formed a big circle, and left the deer at his end.

He opened a gap and expressed his hope. Immediately, two hundred deer ran around in the circle.

The hunters shot and killed, and the sixty carts they brought were filled with the captured prey. This was the first time in many years that the king had caught so many prey, so he was very happy and ordered everyone from the palace to come the next day.

Attend a grand banquet and share the prey with him.

When everyone arrived, the king said to the hunter: "Since you are so smart, come sit next to me."

But the hunter replied: "Your Majesty the King, you must forgive me for not being able to obey, because I am just an ordinary hunter."

But the king insisted: "Sit next to me."

The hunter sat down. He thought of his dearest mother, and hoped that the king's ministers would mention her and ask the queen in the tower whether she was still alive.

As soon as this thought occurred, I heard the etiquette officer say: "Your Majesty, we are celebrating here. I wonder how the queen in the tower is doing? Is she still alive?"

But the king said: "Don't mention her! Who told her to let the wild beast eat my dear son!"

The hunter stood up and said: "Dear Father, I am your son. The queen is still alive, and I was not eaten by wild beasts. It was the evil cook who stole me while the queen was dozing, and then killed me.

There was a chicken and some chicken blood was sprinkled on her dress."

Then he brought the black dog forward and said, "This is the villain."

He also asked people to bring in red charcoal fire, and the black dog ate it in full view of the people until flames shot out from his throat.

The hunter asked the king if he wanted to see the dog return to its original appearance, and then expressed his hope. The dog immediately returned to its original appearance as a cook: wearing a white apron and holding a knife in his hand. When the king saw the cook, he hated it very much.

He was immediately ordered to be imprisoned in the deepest dungeon.

The hunter then said: "Father, are you willing to take a look at the girl who raised me? The chef once asked her to kill me, otherwise she would die, but she still didn't kill me."

The king said: "I would like to see her."

The son said: "Dear father, I would like her to come to you as a beautiful flower." He took out a beautiful dianthus flower from his pocket. The king had never seen a more beautiful flower than this.

.

The son said: "I will let her return to her original shape now." He expressed his wish, and the flower immediately turned into a beautiful girl. No painter in the world could paint her beauty.

The king sent two female attendants and two male attendants to the tower to take the queen to the banquet hall. But the queen did not eat anything and only said: "When I was in the tower, the merciful God always took care of me, and he soon

It will set me free."

She lived for three days and then died happily. On the day of burial, the two angels who brought her food turned into two white doves and followed her to the cemetery and stayed on her tomb. Although the old king ordered that the cook

He was sentenced to death by dismemberment, but grief still tortured his soul, and he died soon after. His son married the beautiful girl he brought back as a carnation, but only God knows who they are now.

Not still alive.
