Chapter 8 Fierce Battle in the Demon Cave (Part 2)

Chapter 8 Fierce Battle in the Demon's Cave (Part 2)

The boy felt like he was tied to some kind of operating table. He couldn't move, but the world kept shaking.

It was surging, one wave after another.

The sky is dark and the earth is dark, light and shadow flicker alternately.

I really wanted to vomit, but my stomach was empty. Then the young man remembered that he hadn't eaten in a long time.

Time seems to have gone back to an era full of painful memories.

------The situation never changes, only the anger grows day by day.

"How's it going?" A voice sounded in the haze.

"No. Hypnosis has no effect. This kid keeps talking nonsense. One moment he is talking about [father], the other moment he is talking about [revenge against God]." Another voice said.

"[Revenge against God]? There is obviously no God in this world------"

No? You are wrong...

Arthur's hazy consciousness wanted to refute, but his brain was affected by the drug and he felt overwhelmed and unable to speak.

There is only one [God] left in this world. The controller of Kama (destiny).

On the [Kama's Seat], God always showed a contemptuous sneer at the young man.

God always stretches out his hands in mercy and cruelly takes away everything from the young man. After taking it away, he will continue to laugh at the young man's weakness.

Why? Because you have power, can you do whatever you want? Because you have power, can you bully the weak?

------Only this God cannot forgive.

------Absolutely defeat him!

"Ah!" Arthur woke up with a start, covered in cold sweat. He turned around and looked around, finding that he was still in a dark cell.

"Is it a...dream?" The cold stone room made it impossible for him to sleep peacefully. Maybe this was the reason for his nightmares.

He wiped his eyes and found a drop of crystal tears. It was not really a drop, maybe just a sporadic tear, but Arthur was stunned by this.

------Dragon's Tears. Tears of Regret. Tears of Avengers.

"How... is this possible?!" The young man's eyes widened in disbelief. Without emotion, he would not have shed tears.

"Haha, you look very energetic?" A familiar voice interrupted the young man's thoughts.

"Merlin?" Arthur turned around and asked, recognizing the mysterious magician from his voice.

The speaker was a crow on the windowsill. The bird's shiny black feathers emitted magical light under the moonlight. The mage was using some kind of magic to control the bird.

"I was busy with other things, so I had to send my familiar to inform you." The crow croaked, and it spoke in fragments, but Arthur was surprisingly able to understand: "You have a powerful photon reaction, although

I can’t find out what it is yet, but I think it’s something like [an enchantment].”

"Oh, a barrier?" Arthur replied disapprovingly.

All force fields that can bind photons (magic) within a certain range can be called barriers. This is a very general term. Even the blade of a lightsaber can be said to be composed of photons wrapped in a barrier.

Merlin's ambiguous explanation only made Arthur more confused and did not help matters at all. Mages are such self-righteous weirdos. They know the profound secrets of a certain magic and think that others also know it.

"This barrier does not absorb photons from the surrounding atmosphere, nor does it absorb photons from your body. This barrier is completely made out of nothing, violating the principle of equivalent exchange and the existence of natural physical laws. It is very likely that it is

[Miracle] The same existence."

"[Miracle]?" Arthur became even more confused upon hearing this.

"Anyway, it's too early to make a conclusion now. I'll wait and see for a while." Merlin's familiar flapped its wings and prepared to leave, "Then, goodbye."

"Wait a minute...get me out of here-----" Arthur still wanted to say, but the familiar had already flown away, "Get me out..."

Looking at the black feather dropped by the crow, the boy sighed. He looked at the bandage wrapped around his body again. The previous battle with the Cyclops was indeed not a dream.

"At least he's alive." The young man muttered to comfort himself.

"Is this something to be thankful for?" The masked man walked out of the dungeon door, stopped in front of the cell, dropped a moldy bun, and sneered through the iron bars: "There will be a more brutal battle waiting for you tomorrow.

, you may die miserably at any time. Can you still optimistically say something like [luckily alive] like this?"

While chewing the bread, Arthur said angrily: "Yes, I will not give up until the end. How can I die in a place like this without knowing anything? I still have dreams to realize."

But the masked man responded with cynicism: "Oh? People like you can have dreams? You don't even have emotions. You don't know fear. You're not even alive. You're just a puppet."

-----An empty shell without a soul.

As if his thoughts were read, the young man was furious.

"No." He swallowed the bread in several mouthfuls, endured the pungent musty smell, and denied loudly: "I just--"

"Just what?!"

"It's just...it was taken away, all of this------" He was only halfway through his words, and his tone clearly shrank.

No one will believe this kind of thing [love is taken away by God]. It is futile to explain to others, you will only be treated as a fool again.

The masked man looked at Arthur with disdain. From his masked cloth bag, his two eyes vaguely exuded some kind of majestic light.

"When fighting the Cyclops, did you feel the terror of death?" the masked man asked.

"I...don't know." Arthur muttered. He didn't dare to deny it directly, so he could only use "I don't know" to vaguely explain it.

"Hmph. Weird guy. Let's see how far you can go." After the masked man finished speaking, he turned and left. But something fell from his cloak and rolled to the young man's feet.

After picking up the metal cylinder and looking at it, Arthur realized that it was a lightsaber.

The green light emitted from the lightsaber made the young man relax a little. This was the radiance of hope for Arthur in this desperate situation.
