Chapter 47 Surprise Attack on the Demon (Part 2)

Chapter 47: Raid on Demons (Part 2)

Queen Lilith of Iceland retreated to the backyard with a dozen palace magicians. The huge ice wall temporarily blocked the intruders, but it could not last long.

The monsters on the other side of the ice wall are composed of Vikings and mermaids, attacking crazily.

They don't know cold, they don't know tired, they never stop.

They used various weapons to beat the ice wall, and the wall slowly cracked and became thinner, and could fall at any time.

A palace magician cut an undead warrior in half. After watching the thing fall and get up again, using half of its body to continue crawling over, she screamed in panic: "You can't kill me no matter what! These monsters!"

!"

"Don't be afraid, just hold on, reinforcements will arrive soon!" the queen shouted, to embolden the soldiers. But she knew in her heart that there would be no reinforcements.

She began to regret that she had not listened to the warning of the Pantorakian knight and made preparations as soon as possible.

Regarding the matter of the succubi and the undead warriors, she initially sneered at them, treating them as lies by the knight Arthur and an excuse given by despicable humans to get away with their crimes.

These undead warriors are actually more terrifying than the knight Arthur said. At first, there were only a dozen or so Vikings, but they couldn't kill them all, and their excellent cold-resistant equipment made them unable to freeze.

Victims soon appeared, and they immediately joined the army of undead warriors.

The mermaid army continued to die, and the number of undead warriors continued to increase. The battle situation soon reached an uncontrollable point. Even the sea monsters who were arranged to guard the palace moat were killed one by one, and then turned into undead.

The Mermaid Kingdom is facing an unprecedented disaster and may be destroyed in one day.

"Freeze the door so that we can delay it for a little longer." The queen said, retreating into the cellar with the remaining mermaids.

In the cellar, a knight was being chained up by four thick iron chains. His bare upper body had strong muscles. He was beaten with blood but remained unchanged. He seemed to be concentrating with his eyes closed.

"Oh, good evening, Her Majesty the Queen." Kai saw the mermaids walking in and opened his eyes.

Without saying a word, the queen drew her sword and chopped it down.

Kai thought he was going to die, but there was no pain. Only then did he realize that it was just the iron chain that locked him that had been cut off by the queen.

The queen opened a stone wall in the cellar. Behind the stone wall was a dark passage: "There is no time. There is a secret passage here. You can escape from here."

"Secret passage? Escape?" Kai asked with a confused look. He was locked in the cellar and had no idea about the succubus' attack.

"The undead warriors have attacked the palace. We are blocking them here. You should run away quickly." The queen explained briefly. She didn't want to waste time.

"Stop joking, run away? You want me, the Silver Knight Kai Acto, to escape under the cover of a woman?! No way!!" Kai waved his hands dissatisfied.

The queen was furious and grabbed the knight's neck with one hand: "Listen to me! You are the bargaining chip used to exchange for my son! If you are dead, what will I give in exchange for the hostage?! Get out of here!"

"Death? Who said I would die!" Kai pushed the queen away.

"No! They are going to break through-----" Before the mermaid guard could finish speaking, his throat had been pierced by a spear. The undead warrior broke through the door and entered.

"Ha, the party starts!" Kai rushed forward. Since he had no weapons, he had to fight with his fist and smashed a Viking's head with one punch!

Another Viking swung a rock hammer and smashed it on Kai's head. "It's too brittle!" Kai shouted. He caught the hammer with one hand, grabbed it, and crushed the hammer to pieces. The stone was still in his palm.

Next, the Viking's skull was crushed, along with the helmet.

The spear came forward. "Too blunt!" The knight stretched out his palm and slapped the spear head away. The rebounded spear head penetrated directly into the temple of the mermaid holding the spear.

The long sword came. "Too short!" Kai struck with his sword and broke the hilt across his waist before the sword touched him. The arm of the Viking holding the sword was also shattered.

The giant stick swung at him. "Too slow!" Kai caught the stick and kicked back, kicking the enemy's head away and colliding with another enemy's head, both of them shattered.

"It's too slow, but it's okay!" The knight waved the iron rod, and for a moment it was like a whirlwind of death. Wherever it went, blood foam flew everywhere, flesh and mud spattered, bone fragments burst, and groups of undead warriors

The ground was broken up, and more poured in, and was broken up again... until the passage was completely blocked.

"Okay, that's awesome." The queen couldn't help but say. At the same time, she was not idle either, and immediately used magic to freeze the pile of meat paste, allowing them to block the passage.

"Unlike what Arthur reported before, these undead souls don't seem to be regenerated." Sir Kay said, "Is it because the quality has declined due to the large number?"

"There were only a dozen of them at the beginning, but the more people died in the battle, the more undead were added." the queen explained.

"The photons injected by the succubus passed from one corpse to another." Kai said, "It really is [death that spreads]."

"Such guys are spreading in the city, and the civilians have almost no ability to resist. The Kingdom of Iceland will be occupied by the undead overnight!" The Queen worried Zhongzhong.

"That's a big problem. It would be such a waste if all the beautiful mermaid sisters turned into zombies." Kai looked happy. He didn't know whether it relieved the hatred in his heart because of this, or because——

--Has a chance to show his heroic spirit in front of the mermaid sister?
