Chapter four hundred and ninety-ninth Hill broke the inner bondage

Hill refused the mage lord of Waterdeep City because he didn't have time. He just wanted to explore the mysteries of magic and didn't want to go out on adventures for the time being. Moreover, purifying the Swamp of the Undead was a big project, and he couldn't leave for a long time.

Even though everyone knew that the main force in purifying the swamp must be the goddess of the sea, Hill said that he had to stay by and no one could say anything wrong.

Conquering the lost city is important to this region, but purifying this swamp is of greater significance to Waterdeep City. As the mage lord there, the always cautious Black Staff will never say anything about it.

So even though he really wanted to go to Myth Drannor to see this old elven city with the Mystery Lock, Hill felt that he could only choose to refuse.

However, Hill didn't know how to reply to these enthusiastic elves.

Compared with Kelben's cunningness, the letter from the Elf Crusaders is full of passion for returning home.

Hill hesitated for a while, then picked up the pen and wrote a letter to Linn. He needed to know whether these elves only chose him, or whether they invited all the famous elves and half-elves in the northern continent.

That represents the attitude Hill will choose when he replies.

After all, this elven crusade is cooperating with demons and goblins. Although these goblins are named like bats because their wings are like demons, the camp is generally lawful and neutral.

But they like to play pranks, so there is nothing wrong with describing them as little devils.

However, there are so many demons and goblins! Do they hope to have a city of their own?

This is not something you can do just by fighting bravely. War kills people.

At the very least, the demons and goblins will join this war as a whole if they think they can afford this kind of consumption.

Although you need to cooperate with the elves, the fairies and elves are originally little friends in the forest.

It will be normal to live in the same city from now on.

If it was the Elf Crusaders who requested help, Hill felt that they would not give up writing to Linn and the others. If it was Hill himself, he would have to consider whether there was something wrong.

After asking Liszt to go downstairs to send the urgent mail, Hill looked down at the letters below.

These are the invitation letters sent to Hill by major auction houses in several cities.

When the invitation is opened, the good things they will prepare for the spring auction will appear one by one.

Hill looked at it with interest, and finally found that only the auction in Waterdeep City was worth attending.

They brought some precious goods from the Shoulong Kingdom on the Karatu continent, including silk, tea, jewelry and swords full of local style.

It seems that a magic ship has just arrived in Waterdeep City.

Hill lowered his head, feeling turbulent in his heart.

He knew very well that the ancient eastern country in this world had nothing to do with his hometown, but he still wanted to get in touch with it.

But if he doesn't want to be involved in Blackstaff Kelben's scheme, Hill should not go to Waterdeep in the near future.

He is aware of his weaknesses. No matter how calm and composed he appears, in the eyes of an old guy like Kelben who has lived for 960 years, there must be many flaws.

But he really wants to go.

He had hoped from the beginning that he could go to the Shoulong Empire. Even if it was a completely different world, he also wanted to see those humans with yellow skin and black hair, wearing silk and drinking tea.

Even if he could only go to the legendary magic ship port, he really wanted to see it.

The legendary warlock has a very good memory, and all the memories in the spiritual sea are so vivid. Although it hurts every time he opens it, Hill can continue to walk on firmly and happily every time he reads it.

His character and his style of doing things will always bear the mark of that time.

Hill held his hand tightly, breathing heavily in his chest, and slowly calmed down.

He opened his hands, and the four rings were intertwined.

Next to the simple Ring of Mythryn on the right hand is a beautiful and exquisite crystal flower ring, and on the other hand, next to the Winter Ring made of gold with frost on the edge, is a space ring inlaid with a large green gem.

A crystal fan bracelet and magic book pendant also sparkle on the wrist.

Why should he fear a chosen one from a magical goddess?

Hill slapped the invitation to the Waterdeep City auction with one hand, confirming that he would participate in the auction.

After making this decision, Hill suddenly felt that his spirit was much more relaxed.

During the year he came to Faerun, Hill was a little overly nervous.

His past experience helped him a lot, but it also restricted him.

The legendary story of Alustriel and Kelben made Hill put these two people too high, which created undue pressure on himself.

But if there really is a fight and they join forces, Hill may not necessarily lose!

If the goddess of magic doesn't use her silver fire to cheat, Hill doesn't think he can beat them to death. Not to mention the artifact, he also has elemental elves!

How could he forget that these invitations and letters all arrived after Aglaia easily killed Amboli's clone.

For the continent of Faerûn, Hill and Aglaia are already very powerful forces and must be respected.

Hill stood up, walked to the terrace, and looked at everything below.

The chill of winter has been completely shattered by thunder, and spring is coming in her cheerful footsteps.

He took out his magic book.

The thunder of the past few days helped Aglaia purify a clean sea channel that leads to the distant ocean.

The diligent Aglaia is now working hard to expand the results in her temple. She hopes to at least purify the south side away from the Temple of Baal.

Many of the creatures in the swamp have returned to their normal appearance, but many ghosts seem unwilling to be purified, and they choose to go to the temple of Baal to escape.

There are not many souls who wake up and are willing to return to sleep. The temple of Baal gives them support. Even if they know that they may get a more miserable result, these ghosts are not willing to leave the world.

Neither Hill nor Aglaia did much, as the Temple of Baal is not within the scope of this territory.

The paladins of Tire did not do anything to the ghosts that appeared in Hill territory, because they sensed Aglaia's efforts to purify them.

It is impossible for them to take credit from a god.

But they will never let go of those in the Temple of Baal.

The Harpers have given up their useless search, but there are still some travelers passing by who go into the water to look for the scattered treasures relying on the anti-sinister potion sold by Hill.

There have been a lot of conflicts over these two days.

The Harpers were not interested in the scattered gold and silver that had been washed into the swamp by the water from Baal's ruined temple over the past many years, but these passing adventurers were different.

It is very hard to run a business between Neverwinter and Waterdeep, and the business taxes in both cities are very expensive. The profit from running ten times may not be as good as picking up a piece of gold underwater.

But there are always people whose luck is always negative. It is possible that people just passing by can catch a piece of gold, and they only have a few copper coins after being underwater for several days.

Hill's territory has been a bit chaotic these past two days.

But they didn't break the law, and even the paladins of Tyr couldn't arrest them for fighting in the swamp.

Hill flipped through the magic book and used the first chapter that he had never used before.

The elemental elves of the water, wind and earth elements happily responded to Hill's call and appeared on this land.

The powerful elemental fluctuations shocked everyone, and all the Paladins of Tire appeared at the door of the temple.

Terry, who had not appeared in the Sword Mountains for several days, directly put his head under the clouds. It happened that Hill's floating castle was not far away from him.

"Ciel?" he asked angrily, "Are you looking for someone to fight? These elemental elves are so strong!"

Hill smiled: "The elements just stay in my territory. Unless someone comes to trouble them, they will not do anything casually. I don't like to be constantly on guard. This is safer."

"Are you going out?" Terry asked keenly, "Or is someone eyeing my balls?"

"I'm going to Waterdeep in a few days. I'm a little interested in some of the products from other continents that have recently arrived." Hill replied calmly, "Besides, you do need some guards here.

It's unlikely that anyone else has found the dragon egg around here. There will probably be thieves targeting you.

Terry suddenly laughed: "If they can, let them come!"

Hill glanced at the little golden dragon who was smiling and retracting his head, and the corner of his mouth twitched.

Did Terry forget that the Sword Mountain Range where he is located is also within the scope of Hill's Mystery Lock?

Hill glanced at some of the elemental lords who had blended into the large group of elemental elves without raising their heads, and shook his head helplessly.

It seems that this is not the first time for these lords to come to the main material plane. They are very familiar with this world. Their first reaction is to put on a layer of disguise for themselves, which is similar to those of their level 17 and 8 peers around them.

Hill used group summons, and there was no restriction on the level of the elements being summoned to be the same as his own. He would have preferred a larger number.

If they were all high-ranking lords, Terry probably wouldn't be the only one who thought he wanted to fight.

Hill doesn't need anyone's protection.

He was grateful for Tyr's kindness, but he didn't want anyone to think that without Tyr, he would be defeated by Talos.

This is not a world suitable for hiding oneself. People are always looking for food.

Hill stared at the elemental elves running around below, observing the environment, and smiled slightly.

Even though the patterns on the body are a little more exquisite, it is difficult to distinguish among the dozen or so elemental lords mixed in with the large group without careful observation.

Hill couldn't help but sigh. There was something wrong with the earth element lord who led a large number of his men and rushed directly to the Sword Mountains to add soil to his body.

Of course, that doesn't mean he is an enemy, it's just that his level is too high.

If it were a level 23 elemental lord, Hill wouldn't feel anything. But this one is already level 25, even though he suppressed a little of his own power.

Unfortunately, if it were other elements, Hill might be concealed by the hidden fluctuations, but for the earth element, that was his specialty.
