Chapter 105 The Second Weekend

Although the experience of the Monteria Laboratory was a bit ups and downs for Zheng Qing, it was not too surprising compared to the school hunting competition, winter hunting and other experiences.

The only thing that bothered Zheng Qing was that he had to go to the laboratory every Saturday afternoon this semester to do odd jobs - he originally thought that after finding Professor Monteria with Su Shijun's letter of introduction, he could immediately do a comprehensive blood test and treatment.

. Just like when I went to the hospital to see a doctor, I got a specialist number.

Unfortunately, Professor Monteria did not seem to intend to open this backdoor for Zheng Qing, allowing him to work together with other assistants in the laboratory in exchange for the opportunity to have blood tests.

Zheng Qing also maliciously speculated in private that maybe Professor Monteria was incompetent and would not be able to solve his own problems for a while, so he chose this upright delaying method.

However, he only dared to whisper this kind of speculation to his roommates and would never say it out loud in the laboratory.

I worked part-time in Monteria Laboratory on Saturday afternoon; I did my homework on Saturday night; I drew symbols on the wandering bar on Sunday morning; I went to the small shop 'd&k' on the pedestrian street to inspect and encourage the hard-working 'cats, mice and four foxes' at noon.

On Friday afternoon, I had a date with Elena for tea.

The second weekend of the second semester ended with such trivial busyness.

So much so that before the regular class meeting on Sunday night, Zheng Qing suddenly remembered that he had not written any notes for this week, so he had to rack his brains and work hard amidst the chaos and noise.

But sometimes, the more you want to find peace, the easier it is for troubles to come to your door.

Here Zheng Qing was meditating hard and listing running accounts in his notebook; over there, bursts of noise and noise began to come from the classroom at some point, making people uneasy.

Zheng Qing dropped his quill angrily and raised his head, planning to protest. Only then did he realize to his surprise that all his classmates had gathered in the front row of the classroom, surrounding Downton and Jiang Yu, including Xiao Xiao.

, Fatty Xin and others were also among them.

Downton held a piece of white paper high in his hand, as if he was telling the people next to him what to say. Jiang Yu stood sideways beside him, staring blankly out of the window, wondering what he was thinking.

Perhaps aware of the eyes in the corner, the witch suddenly turned back and looked at Zheng Qing, and happened to meet the blank face of the young public-funded student.

She was stunned for a moment, then smiled, raised her hand, and waved at Zheng Qing.

Zheng Qing felt that his ears were a little hot, and he subconsciously looked to another corner of the classroom. Then he realized that Elena had a gathering of the Gypsy Witches tonight and did not come to attend the regular meeting.

After reacting, he felt more and more ashamed in his heart, but maintained his composure on his face. He nodded to Jiang Yu and walked towards the crowd in the front row of the classroom. However, he did not join the crowd of witches to find Jiang Yu, but looked for Jiang Yu.

arrived with his companions.

"What are you doing?" He stretched out his finger and poked Fatty Xin's thick waist.

Zheng Qing was astonished that his fingers did not penetrate even an inch, but there was no sense of obstruction at all.

The fat man seemed to realize something. He turned around and saw the young public-funded student and said in surprise: "Have you finished writing your weekly diary?"

"Can't I take a break before I finish writing?" Zheng Qing rolled his eyes and said angrily: "Do I have to wait for you all to run away and leave me alone in the classroom? I still have to concentrate on it.

Are you writing about that stuff?”

"It's not that big of a deal." Zhang Jixin was also standing aside. Hearing this, he turned back to Zheng Qing and explained: "The squad leader was promoting the spring outing to us... Everyone thought it was not an important matter, and

Seeing that you were writing seriously, I didn’t bother you on purpose.”

"Spring outing?" Zheng Qing became interested after hearing this: "Where to go? Silent Forest, or outside Phuket Island?"

"Isn't this being discussed?" Fatty Xin folded his arms with difficulty, frowned and analyzed seriously: "I think it is unlikely to go outside the island. After all, the guardian formation is not so easy to open; the Silent Forest has been uneasy recently.

points, the possibility is slightly lower... but the hunting grounds that are not commonly used in the school may become our destination."

"It's impossible to have a hunting ground, it's impossible." Zhang Jixin immediately waved his hand, denying the fat man's guess: "I followed my brother on the hunting team training in the afternoon. He said that because of the conflict between the blood club and the divine will, all the hunting teams in the school

We have all been training hard to shine in this year's school hunting competition, and all the available hunting grounds have been reserved."

Hearing this, Zheng Qing finally couldn't help interrupting their chat and said in surprise: "The school hunting competition? Doesn't it only start in October? It's earlier this year? Why haven't I heard of it?"

"It's October," Zhang Jixin curled his lips and said to Zheng Qing earnestly: "As the saying goes, one minute on stage, ten years of hard work off stage, which successful hunting team did not succeed after months and months of hard training?

I said, our hunting team should also start preparing for the school hunting competition in the second half of the year... According to our current points, during the summer vacation, you can apply to become an officially registered hunting team in the school."

Zheng Qing felt a headache when he thought of the complicated procedures and tiring process of applying for an official hunting team. He looked around and brought the topic back to the spring outing.

"How long will it take for the spring outing? Is it necessary to go?" He rubbed the dull hair on his head in distress, moved it into eighteen different postures, and hummed feebly: "I'm going to work in Professor Monteria's laboratory on Saturday.

...I usually have to do chores at the Wandering Bar and D&K, as well as homework...and my eyesight is not very good either. I always feel like I don’t have enough time.”

Fatty Xin and Zhang Jixin both raised their eyes and looked at him with disdain.

This greatly embarrassed the young wizard.

"Excuses are like water in a sponge. If you squeeze it, there will always be some. The same goes for time." Xiao Xiao's slightly thin voice came from behind him: "You just need to drink less transformation potion a few times. If you don't go

Playing with those cats can squeeze out time for doing homework and drawing symbols. We are still young, so there is no reason why we don’t have enough time.”

"In addition, the Youth Outing is an annual social feast for the first-year students of our Jiuyou College, and it is linked to the credits for practical classes. If you don't want those credits, you don't have to go."

If the previous reasoning sounds uninteresting, then the following reason hits Zheng Qing’s Achilles’ heel.

In view of the unsatisfactory results in the final exam last semester, Zheng Qing will never dare to cheat in class this semester. This means that he must participate in this outing.

"Did Downton say when the spring outing will be held? I can make preparations in advance." He forced himself to ask.

"On the Forbidden Demon Day." Xiao Xiao replied briefly.
