Chapter 59 Shadow Wall and School

"What are the characteristics of this door?" Nicholas led a group of newcomers to an arch on the side of the hall, and patted the head of the squatting stone lion at the door with great force.

The stone lion tilted his head, preventing Nicholas from ruffling his mane.

Then it raised its huge paw and slapped the dishonest guy away.

The newcomers screamed in shock.

In the hall, other old students looked at this scene with smiles and whispered something to the newcomers they brought.

He stood up nonchalantly and dusted off the non-existent dust on his body. Nicholas salivated and looked at the lion with a charming smile: "It's just educating these pink and tender new babies. Don't worry about it, adults."

The stone lion closed its eyes and was solemn, pressed its feet against the stone ball, and squatted silently. It seemed that the claw just now had nothing to do with it.

Nicholas shrugged boredly and looked at his new friends again:

"What are the characteristics of this door?"

"There are two, um, guards at the door." Zheng Qing said in a low voice.

"There are nine ancient talismans on the lintel."

"There is also the ring logo of Jiuyou Academy." Others were talking in a flurry of words.

"Well, very good, that's about it." Nicholas sighed, glanced at the stone lion at the gate, grimaced, and hummed: "Now, come in."

The newlyweds walked cautiously past the stone lions, glancing at the guards with a bit of awe.

The stone lion sat silently, as if the slap just now was an illusion.

The feeling of walking through the arch is ordinary.

Nothing unusual.

Zheng Qing felt his eyes suddenly light up, and he was already in a lush environment. Directly in front of him was a huge blue-black screen wall, behind him was a simple and heavy door, and on the left and right tall walls, there were dense vines climbing on them.

The freshmen had just walked out of the low side door next to the main door.

There was a muffled groan from behind.

Zheng Qing turned around quickly and saw Nicholas somersaulting in.

"There is a screen wall in front of you. You need to find your name on it first."

Sitting on the ground with bared teeth, Nicholas shouted to several stunned freshmen: "Remember? Never provoke anyone in the school, especially this kind of stone statue that seems to be very rigid."

"I must remind you that First University has a very high level of intelligence, or to put it in layman's terms, a very high level of magic. Many of the objects or beings you often see will exist in ways you don't understand."

As if he felt that his explanation was not very successful, Nicholas added very seriously: "You will understand this in the future. What I need to remind you is, do not insult - or behave similarly - these existences. Compared to you

, they have a more fragile psychology, and they deserve more comfort."

"Just like me just now, you will be punished for this...hiss." He gasped and patted his butt with the law book, but it didn't seem to have much effect.

In the end, he gave up his efforts and continued to lead the way with a limp: "Has anyone found their name on the screen wall?"

This is a huge screen wall about four to five meters high and eight to nine meters long.

The base of the screen wall is a Xumizuo carved from white marble, with strangely shaped monsters carved into the upper and lower brackets.

The stone wall is completely blue and black, smooth and discernible, but it does not appear dazzling, but reveals a simple and elegant atmosphere.

The top of the wall has cornices and brackets, covered with blue and white glazed tiles. On the tiles you can clearly see the intricate talismans.

"Stare at the screen wall and silently recite your name." Nicholas instructed from the side.

Zheng Qing blinked nervously and stared at the center of the screen wall, muttering his name silently in his heart.

"Zheng Qing, Zheng Qing, Zheng Qing..."

Slowly, a few lines of words appeared on the screen wall.

The handwriting was very blurry at first.

But as he continued to recite silently, these lines became larger and clearer.

"Zheng Qing, male, born in 1990. Student from Huaxia District. Jiuyou College Astronomy Class 08-1. Junior school results: None. Intermediate school results: None. Wizards Unified Examination score: 480."

Zheng Qing let out a long sigh, and his heart suddenly became much more relaxed.

He turned to look at Xiao Xiao. This short boy was frowning and thinking hard against the wall.

Then he had an idea and stared at the screen wall again.

"Xiao Xiao, Xiao Xiao, Xiao Xiao!"

He recited Xiao Xiao's name silently in his heart.

The blue-black wall stones are quiet and restrained in the late summer sunshine.

Facing Zheng Qingqing's request, this wall silently refused.

"What's for lunch?" Xiao Xiao suddenly asked from the side.

"Oh, well, I haven't thought about this yet." Zheng Qing looked away in panic and looked around.

His face felt a little hot, as if he was a thief who sneaked into someone else's house and was discovered by the owner.

Xiao Xiao looked at him suspiciously.

Directly in front of the screen wall is a gate.

The black door was tightly closed, and two stone turtle-shaped monsters were pressed under the thick door pillars on both sides. Purple-black walls several feet high extended along the door to the left and right, all the way to the far distance.

The breeze blows by, and the vines clinging to the wall make a rustling sound, adding to the quiet atmosphere here.

On both sides of the main entrance are two side doors that are ten feet high. Zheng Qing looked at the door on the left and knew that behind it was the first hall. They just came out of this side door.

Looking up, outside the wall, towering trees stood quietly in the breeze, and the sound of rustling leaves made Zheng Qing feel in a trance. If he had not come out from the side door, he would never have been able to imagine what kind of world was behind the door.

"Every time you open the door, it's an adventure. There's a magical world behind every door."

Xiao Xiao flipped through his notebook and muttered something behind him.

Zheng Qing didn't hear clearly, and his mood had become much calmer.

He gestured to the appearance around the screen wall and asked curiously: "Are the doors behind other colleges in the first hall also like this?"

"I just said that there is a magical world behind every door. Other colleges are definitely not like this!" Xiao Xiao waved his black notebook feebly.

"What is displayed behind each gate is the temperament and style of the college. Just like the Alpha Academy, you can't see a 'screen wall' when you enter the door. They have placed a self-service inquiry machine behind the gate, which stores relevant information about the students.

.As far as I know, what we are seeing now is the territory of Jiuyou Academy, and it should be within the 'academy'."

"School." Zheng Qing muttered softly.

"Jiuyou Academy, Alpha Castle, Atlas Palace, Starry Sky Academy." Xiao Xiao put away his notebook, his tone full of longing.

"Everyone, come around and take a look at this wall, yes it is this screen wall." Nicholas greeted cheerfully not far away.

He was holding his Dharma book with his fingers and spinning it rapidly. Tiny electric lights flashed around the Dharma book, making a crackling sound.

The freshmen were immediately attracted.

"This screen wall is also called the screen wall. It is the landmark building of Jiuyou Academy's 'school'. The screen wall contains information about all the professors, students, school workers, and even spiritual beasts in the school. Intruders with evil intentions will be safe under the screen wall.

Therefore, any unauthorized intrusion will trigger a counterattack from Zhaobi."

"Don't underestimate its counterattack. This screen wall is a hub of the entire school's defense formation. Even registered wizards cannot resist its restraint."

"Remember this screen wall, it will be your witness to knowledge and truth."

Zheng Qing raised his hand.

Nicholas nodded reservedly.

"I just wanted to see other students' information," Zheng Qing said, seeming to feel Xiao Xiao's gaze, and his throat felt a little dry: "But it can't be displayed on the screen."

Nicholas had a satisfied smile on his face:

“A very sharp attempt! Very sharp.”

He praised loudly and gently applauded Zheng Qing.
