Chapter 23 Xiao Ming

Along the way, Andy was not in the mood to talk to Lin Ze because he was very uneasy about meeting his brother next.

The two of them quietly arrived at the orphanage where Xiao Ming was.

"Thank you, Lao Yan."

Andy thanked the people sent by Lao Tan.

"It's okay." Lao Yan waved his hand, indicating that he didn't need to worry about this.

Then Lao Yan will take Andy and Lin Ze to meet the dean and Xiao Ming.

"Wait a minute." Andy stopped him.

Lao Yan turned around and looked at Andy with some confusion, wasn't she anxious to see her brother?

"Where is Xiao Ming, too?" Andy asked uneasily. Without Lin Zede's words, she would have wanted to see Xiao Ming at all costs.

"Yes." Lao Yan nodded matter-of-factly. Since he came to see Xiao Ming, of course Xiao Ming was there.

"We want to talk to the director of the orphanage alone first."

"That's it." Lao Yan thought for a moment, pointed upstairs and said, "Then I'll go up and talk to the dean first."

"Okay, thank you."

"Little things."

When Lao Yan came down again to lead Yao Bin, Linze and Andy up, there was only the dean in the office.

"I heard that you want to see me alone?" The dean sat on the chair and asked stiffly to Lin Ze and Lin Ze who walked in.

"That's it." Andy said eagerly: "We want to get in touch with Xiao Ming as volunteers first."

Lin Ze added on the side: "We are worried that recognizing each other rashly may irritate Xiao Ming, which will have a certain impact on his condition."

Seeing how thoughtful the two of them were, the dean's expression softened a little, but he still said with resentment: "Where are Xiao Ming's parents? Why don't they come?"

Andy explained calmly: "They are all dead. Xiao Ming and I grew up together in an orphanage. Later we were adopted by different families. Only recently did we know that Xiao Ming is here with you."

"That's right." The dean knew that she had wrongly blamed Andy, "I can agree to your request."

"Thank you, Dean."

Lin Ze took out a check from his bag and handed it to the dean and said, "This is our gratitude to the orphanage and to you."

"What is this for?" The dean did not accept the check handed over by Lin Ze and said with a frown.

"I know that the orphanage can accept donations. This is our intention."

Lin Ze put the check on the table and continued: "There is also a cart of fruits, nutritional supplements and toys prepared at the entrance of the orphanage."

The dean took a look at Lin Ze's check and said, "Is this too much money?"

She adopted Xiao Ming out of kindness, not for these things, otherwise she wouldn't have treated Andy and Lin Ze with that attitude at the beginning.

Lin Ze prepared a check of 1 million, not entirely because of Andy, but more because the charity itself was worthy of him.

Moreover, since the money is handed over to this responsible dean, Lin Ze does not have to worry about the money not being forthcoming.

"No."

"Thank you." The dean stood up and bowed to Lin Ze and Andy.

After handling the donation, Andy and Lin Ze wore volunteer vests to find Xiao Ming.

When they were in the corridor, Andy said to Lin Ze, who was walking side by side with her: "Thank you."

"I'll transfer the money to you when I get back." Andy said firmly, obviously she must do this.

Seeing Andy's determination, Lin Ze said: "Let's give it half the money."

Seeing that Andy wanted to talk more, Lin Ze spoke first: "I'm not doing this for you, but I really want to do something good."

"There happens to be such a responsible dean, so I can rest assured that I can hand over the money to her."

"Thank you." After hearing what Lin Ze said, Andy stopped talking.

"Xiao Ming?" The moment Andy saw Xiao Ming, tears flowed out uncontrollably. He forgot all about what he had said before and immediately wanted to rush over and hug Xiao Ming.

Fortunately, Lin Ze on the side grabbed Andy in time and said in her ear: "Have you forgotten what I told you?"

After hearing the noise, Xiao Ming put down the Rubik's Cube in his hand that had stopped spinning, and turned his head to look at Lin Ze and Andy who came in.

Seeing two people he had never seen before, Xiao Ming was obviously a little scared and held the Rubik's Cube tightly in his hands.

It wasn't until he saw the volunteer vests on Andy and Lin Ze that Xiao Ming let go of his fear and vigilance.

Apparently he had met other volunteers before, and grandma told him that those wearing this were good people.

Andy covered her mouth to prevent her from crying, but the tears still flowed uncontrollably.

Lin Ze patted Andy's back comfortingly and said to her: "Why don't you wait outside first?"

Andy is also worried that her current performance will scare Xiao Ming, and is even more worried that she will not be able to control herself.

So Andy nodded to Lin Ze, covered his mouth and walked out of the room, his eyes never leaving Xiao Ming through the door.

Lin Ze's vest gave Xiao Ming a sense of security, which allowed Lin Ze to sit across from Xiao Ming.

"Are you trying to solve the Rubik's Cube?" Lin Ze asked, pointing to the Rubik's Cube in Xiao Ming's hand.

Xiao Ming lowered his head and held the Rubik's Cube tightly in his hand. He wanted to escape from here.

"Can you give me a try?" Lin Ze asked tentatively.

Xiao Ming hesitated for a moment, but Lin Ze's vest gave him a sense of security. He slowly handed the Rubik's Cube to Lin Ze.

Lin Ze stretched out his hand to take the Rubik's Cube and tried to turn it around. After working hard for a long time, he could only put together one face.

Lin Ze said to Xiao Ming with some embarrassment: "This is quite difficult."

Xiao Ming felt that the big brother in front of him suddenly came alive in his world, a bit like a grandma.

Xiao Ming took the Rubik's Cube from Lin Ze, scrambled the side that Lin Ze had put together very quickly, and then put the Rubik's Cube together skillfully.

Andy, who didn't know when he walked in, watched this scene quietly.

Xiao Ming put the assembled Rubik's Cube in his hand and showed Lin Ze his result.

"Awesome!" Lin Ze gave Xiao Ming a thumbs up and praised.

"Shall we play Sudoku?"

Hearing Lin Ze mention his other favorite game, Xiao Ming looked at Lin Ze expectantly.

"How about letting this sister play with you?" Lin Ze pointed at Andy and said to Xiao Ming.

Seeing that Xiao Ming did not refuse, Lin Ze found a blank piece of paper and two pens from the table and handed them to Andy.

"The next step is up to you, I don't know how to do this."

Andy quickly drew the Sudoku on the paper and carefully said to Xiao Ming: "How about each of us fill in one?"

Xiao Ming still didn't speak, but he took the pen Andy handed him.

When Lin Ze saw Andy and Xiao Ming starting to fill in Sudoku, he quietly exited the door and watched the scene through the glass.

After a while, the dean also came to Lin Ze, and he and Lin Ze quietly watched the scene in the room.
