Chapter 313: The Qi of Heaven
Qi is divided into innate "Qi" and acquired "Qi". Qi, and the pronunciation is the same as "Qi". Now it is often replaced by the word "Qi". However, "Qi" and "Qi" are not the same and should not even be used.
In the Taoist sect, "Qi" is a metaphysical energy, the innate Qi that exists in the universe. It is big but has no outside, small but has no inside, has no beginning or end, has no color or taste, but it is the original driving force for the birth, death and flow of all things, and is the origin of Tao.
In the Taoist medical concept, "Qi" is the most basic energy that constitutes the human body and maintains life activities, and it also has the meaning of physiological functions.
"Qi" refers to the Qi in the human body; the word "Qi" used in Qigong and medical books refers to all the Qi outside the human body. Although people inhale a large amount of Qi when breathing, the "Qi" inhaled must be mixed with the "Qi" inside the human body. Only when the "Qi" outside plays a role in the human body. The "Qi" plays a dominant role, and this "Qi" is the essence of the grain, and is the energy Qi transformed into and the information Qi generated by the cell metabolism. The so-called "Qi will be born, and Qi will be dispersed, and it will be dead."
"Qi" refers to the innate qi, while "Qi" refers to the acquired qi.
"Qi" is a healing energy. In the practice of Taoist health preservation, "Qi" is a healing energy, an endless stream of energy that exists in the universe and all things.
In Qigong, breathing, guidance and meditation, the qi that is emphasized is the energy flow of this qi. The coordination of movement and consciousness can achieve healing effects on the human body and improve health.
"The true qi is what is received from the sky and the valley qi is combined with the body."
True qi comes from the innate world.
True Qi is the vital Qi.
Vital energy is the fundamental energy of the human body, the driving force for our human body's life activities, and the most basic substance for maintaining life activities.
A person's vitality is closely related to the strength of physical fitness and the occurrence of diseases.
The Medical Simplified Chinese Medicine points out: "The so-called origin of qi is the root of the twelve meridians, which is the movement of qi between the kidneys.
This is the foundation of the five internal organs, the root of the twelve meridians, the door of breathing, the origin of the three burners, and a god who guards evil (the primordial spirit and function that defends evil spirits). Therefore, (yuan) qi is the root of human beings."
This true energy that comes from the innate nature must be combined with the acquired energy to nourish people's body and maintain human life activities.
The combination of innate and acquired is the clan Qi, which includes the energy of diet, water and grain and the clean air of nature that is inhaled.
In medicine, essence is believed to be the most basic substance that constitutes the human body and is also the basic substance that maintains the human body's life activities.
This qi is produced by essence.
This is also what is called "refining body fluids into essence", "refining essence into qi", "refining qi into spirit", and "refining spirit into emptiness". Therefore, in the process of cultivation, there must be a complete set of cultivation systems. Without a system of cultivation, it is better not to practice.
There are two types of essence: innate essence and acquired essence.
The innate essence is originally found in the human body. The acquired essence is also called the essence of water and grain, and is absorbed by diet.
All essences generate qi, correspondingly the generation of innate qi and acquired qi, which are the two parts of qi, the qi that people breathe every day.
The breathing of natural qi is called clear qi. The qi that our human body needs mainly is these three parts: innate qi (vital energy); acquired qi (virtual energy); clear qi.
What does people's kidneys do? The kidneys store essence. Essence is divided into two major pieces: the innate essence and the acquired essence.
Acquired essence is nourished to the kidneys after diet, which is equivalent to replenishment. The kidneys are called the foundation of innateness. The stance methods, fetal breathing, dantian, cross-legged legs, etc. that people practice are closely related to the kidneys.
The ancients said: "The source of fate is in the waist gap." Here, the waist gap refers to the Mingmen point between the lumbar vertebrae.
In front of the life gate of the human body, the area between the two kidneys is called "Huanyuan Shenshu" in Taoist practice. It is the location of the innate aura of the human body. After the dantian practice and the spine is stretched, the Mingmen acupoint is gradually filled, allowing the acquired qi and innate qi to mix here into a holistic qi that plays a very important role in the repair and strengthening of the human body.
The Supreme Taoist ancestor once said: "Tao gives birth to one, one gives birth to two, two gives birth to three, and three gives birth to all things.
The alchemy path means three return to two, two return to one, and one joins the Tao.”
It is to refine qi and transform spirit into spirit, and to return to weakness. That is, the process of returning essence and spirit. Because of the lack of essence and energy in a person, it creates a replenishment of essence and energy, so that people can replenish losses from acquired to innate, so that they can start practicing.
If you want to learn the Taoist classics, or learn Taoism from the origin, you cannot avoid the word "qi".
Whether it is the Six Qi Theory of Medicine or the Qi of the Warrior, they are all developments on this basis, and can be regarded as a symbol silently inherited in the subconscious of Chinese people, regardless of whether people can truly perceive it.
Qi in China is a philosophical concept full of wisdom. It is different from the materialization of wind, fire, earth and water in foreign lands. It is also a highly abstract conceptual product, believing that all things come from one qi.
The first place in Taixu, how can there be loneliness?
The most important thing is to be grateful, but the true life is in my life.
True One is the spirit, and the vital energy is transformed by itself. There is true essence in the vacuum, and their mutual feelings and excitement are produced.
True Yi generates vital energy through the power of the spirit. The nature of vital energy is to produce something out of nothing, and can be called innate qi.
This vital energy is different from that of doctors. The purpose of doctors is to cure diseases and maintain health, so the body is called acquired, and the body is called innate. Taoism regards heaven, earth and all things as acquired, and before this is innate.
The innate qi is invisible and invisible, and it flows around and forms itself. It is not something that can be obtained through some practice method. For example, the acquired qi is also practiced by Qigong. This is the biggest difference between it and Taoist true qi.
Using acquired true qi to practice, or mirror flowers and water moon. This kind of cultivation is beneficial to health, but it is difficult to achieve immortality. How can the innate qi be obtained? It can only be obtained through inspiration.
The qi of the human body is produced by essence and merged with the natural clear air inhaled by the lungs.
The generation of the body's energy is the result of the comprehensive coordination of the spleen, kidney, lung and other internal organs.
The qi of the human body comes from the innate qi (i.e., vital energy) generated by the innate essence, the qi of the water and valleys produced by the essence of water and valleys and the clear energy of nature. The latter two are also collectively called the acquired qi (i.e., zongqi). The three are combined to form the qi of the whole body. The "Inner Classic of Medicine" is called "popular energy".
The reproductive essence derived from the parents' combination becomes an embryo. Before a person is born, he receives the innate essence of his parents' innate essence to transform into innate qi, which becomes the foundation of the human body's qi.
The innate qi is the driving force for the human body's life activities, which is "true qi". In the ancient scriptures, it is said: "The true qi is received from the sky and is combined with the valley qi and fills the body. People receive qi from the valley, and the valley enters the stomach to spread to the lungs. The five internal organs and six organs all receive qi."
In addition, the blood and body fluids produced by the essence of water and grain can also be used as the source of qi transformation. The clear qi from nature needs to be inhaled into the body by relying on the respiratory function of the lungs and the kidneys' qi absorption function.
The weather passes through the lungs, and the clear qi participates in the generation of qi, and constantly exhales the old and brings up the new, promoting the metabolic activities of the human body. Therefore, it is an important source of the production of qi in the human body. The clear qi enters the body with breathing movement and cannot be interrupted.
From the source of qi, whether the qi in the human body depends on the comprehensive coordination of various internal organs in the body, which is particularly closely related to the physiological functions of the kidney, spleen, stomach and lungs.
The kidney is the root of qi.
The kidneys store innate essence and are nourished by acquired essence.
The innate essence is the main component of the kidney essence. The innate qi generated by the innate essence is the foundation of the human body's qi. Therefore, the physiological function of the kidney's storing essence is crucial to the generation of qi.
The kidney seals the kidney essence and does not cause it to be lost for no reason. If the essence is preserved in the body, it can be transformed into qi. If the essence is filled, the qi will be sufficient. If the kidney is lost, the essence will be consumed and the qi will be depleted.
The spleen and stomach are the source of vitality.
The spleen is responsible for transportation and transformation, and the stomach is responsible for receiving and receiving, and jointly completes the digestion and absorption of diet, water and grain.
The temper rises and turns, and the essence of water and valleys is transferred to the heart and lungs, turning it into blood and body fluids.
The essence of water and grain, the blood and body fluids produced, can all be transformed into qi. It is collectively called the qi of water and grain, which disperse the internal organs and meridians of the whole body, and becomes the main source of qi in the human body, so the spleen and stomach are called the source of qi.
If the spleen and stomach are malfunctioned and transported, the essence of water and grain cannot be digested and absorbed, and the source of water and grain qi is scarce, which affects the generation of the whole body's qi.
Therefore, the scripture says: "If the valley does not enter, the energy will decline for half a day, and the energy will be less in one day."
The lungs are the master of vitality.
The lungs control qi and control the generation of zong qi. They occupy an important position in the generation process of qi.
On the one hand, the lungs control the breathing energy. Through the breathing function of inhaling clear and turbid breathing, the clear air from nature is continuously inhaled into the human body, and at the same time, it constantly exhales turbid air, ensuring the generation and metabolism of the energy in the body.
On the other hand, the lungs combine the inhaled clear air with the water and grain qi generated by the essence of water and grain transported from the spleen to generate the clan Qi.
The zong Qi accumulates in the chest, goes upward to breathe, and is involved in the heart meridians to carry blood and qi, and accumulates the dantian energy below.
If the lungs have abnormal dysfunction, the inhalation of clear qi will be reduced, and the generation of zongqi will be insufficient, resulting in the decline of the qi in the whole body.
In short, the physiological function of the kidney is closely related to the generation of innate qi, the physiological function of the spleen, stomach and lungs is closely related to the generation of acquired qi, and the functions of many internal organs are coordinated and closely coordinated, so that the source of the human body's qi will be generated and the human body's qi will be sufficient and vigorous.
