Chapter 26 Examination and Debate

At first it was a scene in a dream, but then I realized that the whole world was changing in the dream. It started to be daytime, and my consciousness merged, turning the day into night. People's unconscious dreaming turned into conscious dreaming.

After half a year like this, he was able to stay awake in his dreams and change the scenes in his dreams. Except for the heaven, earth, mountains and rivers in the dream, everything else could be changed.

During this period, I discussed it with Ezhu several times. Ezhu mentioned that when he practiced Dream Light, it took him a year to be able to enter the dream state with clear consciousness. His progress was already very fast.

It would take an ordinary person three to five years to achieve his current dream practice. His current Dream Light belongs to the first level. Dream Light is difficult to enter the practice state in the early stage. After the practice state stabilizes later, the progress is faster than other skills.

The ceremony was much faster. It seems that my rapid progress is related to the mental tempering of the mirror formation.

After Meng Guangming entered the first level of practice, he gradually tried to practice Yamantaka in dreams, because he could design various scenes in dreams. Although he could not change the vitality of heaven and earth in dreams, he could choose the best place to practice.

It is not yet possible to travel to other worlds in dreams.

The self-awareness in the dream is very strong, and the phantom of Yamantaka appears more quickly. While practicing, he travels in the dream world. Soon Yamantaka reaches the seventh level of Qi training, and in one year he once again enters a new realm.

This progress is very fast.

After retreat, the master asked him to read more of the sect's classics and the twelve Buddhist scriptures. The above mentioned that there is a sequence of practice. He should first listen and think before practicing. Listening and thinking means listening to the contents of Buddhist sutras and practice and thinking about them over and over again.

, I have thought about and weighed all the problems that I may encounter in my practice, and only then do I have no doubts before I practice.

This avoids practicing blindly, because there are many people who become crazy during their practice. They will encounter various illusions during their practice. If they are not careful, they will fall into such illusions and they will go crazy. Therefore, they need to be cautious in their practice.

Buddhist practice is very particular, and there are five major treatises. Among them, the rigorous logical reasoning of Yin Ming Xue can show the bottlenecks and solutions at each stage of the practice in the form of mathematical reasoning. Therefore, if Yin Ming Xue is good at various aspects of practice,

Contradictions, including those in all aspects of life, can be easily detected.

Yin Ming also weighs Neo-Confucianism because it can measure everything, including the loopholes and shortcomings of the exercises in practice, as well as whether there are any problems in the process of self-cultivation.

The question can be deduced completely.

It can be said to be very magical. The correct topic can be established through three-phase reasoning, and wrong understandings and contradictions can be eliminated through three-phase reasoning.

Just like the world's bright eyes, you can see into everything in the world. In Buddhism, when you often debate scriptures, you use the cause of enlightenment to debate the sutra. Of course, in Buddhism, the cause of enlightenment mainly promotes practice.

Because Mingxue is very important for future practice, Ji Dexin also spent a lot of time on it. It took him a year to learn almost everything. Jiang Huacuo introduced the study of Mingxue to the Gelug sect, Nyingma sect, and Sakya sect.

There are so many. You can study wherever you go in the future.

Among the five major treatises, Madhyamika and Prajna studies expound the principles of emptiness and self-nature of all things. This is a theoretical method that must be practiced to leave the realm of reincarnation and go to the realm of nirvana. Although it is useless at the current stage, it will definitely be needed in the future.

used.

Phantasmology explains the various principles of practice in the world of reincarnation and nirvana. The theory of samsara, also known as the theory of wisdom, explains very clearly the three thousand worlds and the six realms of samsara. Therefore, if you learn samsara well, you will know which world you want to go to.

, it took three years to study the five major treatises.

In the past few years, the relationship with Ezhu has also been very good. Ezhu is a person who sees profit and forgets justice and will do anything for his own interests.

In the cave, Ezhu read a lot of books about Meng Guangming, and his practice in Meng Guangming was much higher than that of Ji Dexin. Ji Dexin followed Jiang Huacuorang's four-point rule and always respected Ezhu, and Ezhu's vanity

Satisfied, Meng Guangming's experience gained from the forehead beads Ji Dexin also gained a lot.

In dealing with the relationship with Ezhu, he realized that anyone can get along with him and benefit from it, but different people need different methods.

Treat sincere people with sincerity, and treat those with interests with benefit. She doesn't need to make many enemies, what she needs is growth and progress, and she doesn't have any life-or-death enmity with many people. She also treats people with life-or-death enmity.

You won't be polite.

He also learned a lot from other disciples in the sect. His dream light entered the second level, and he could change the world in a short period of time in his dream.

The center is the master.

But when his Yamantaka broke through the eighth level of Qi training, he encountered a bottleneck and has been unable to break through for three years.

He applied to go to the Gelug Sect to study Yamantaka, and the sect master also agreed very much. However, Yamantaka belongs to the Gelug Sect's method of suppressing the sect and will not be taught to others easily. Only by passing their assessment can one enter the Gelug Sect.

study.

The assessment method is sutra debate. Ji Dexin has been studying Yin Ming for three years, and he can be said to be very familiar with Yin Ming. However, their Kagyu sect has always been weak in sutra debate. They pay great attention to practical practice. Although they have sutra debate, they do not have it.

Other sects are so in-depth.

The assessment of the Gelug Sect is very strict, and only the top five in the debate can be admitted to study. The reason why the ability to debate the scriptures is tested is because practice is a very cautious thing. Even if you practice for a long time, you can't get the key points.

If there is no progress, if it is serious, it will lead to obscurity and all cultivation will be ruined.

Ji Dexin asked other seniors in the sect for advice on the key points of scripture debate.

Because Mingxue is also very difficult in other sects, there are very few people who are truly proficient.

Because Mingxue originated in India, Venerable Chenna of India created the "Quantitative Theory". He found various reasoning methods from many Buddhist scriptures. In addition, through his own research, he felt that all phenomena in the world can be measured, so he established Quantitative Theory and measured it.

The principle is explained in detail in "Quantitative Theory".

I heard that Venerable Chen Na debated with other sects for many days in order to explain the ultimate perfection of Buddhist practice. Other commentators could not debate Venerable Chen Na. Later, they entered Buddhism.

Venerable Chenna completed the "Sutra on Quantitative Theory" with the blessing of Manjushri Bodhisattva. However, the "Sutra on Quantitative Theory" was too difficult to understand, so Venerable Dharmakrīrti wrote the "Sutra on Quantitative Theory" based on the "Sutra on Quantitative Theory".

If you understand these two theories, you can understand the cause and effect. Through the study of cause and effect, you can deduce how the Buddha transformed from an ordinary person to a Buddha step by step. Without borrowing supernatural powers, you can deduce everything that happens in the distance. It can be said that this method is very profound.

.

That’s why the assessment uses the method of debate. From Jiang Huacuo, he borrowed the classics of Yinming from other sects. The Sakya Sect’s "Treasure of Measures and Benefit Treasures" explains Yinming better. Some people study it all their lives.

It is difficult to understand the cause and effect in both "The Theory of Quantification" and "The Theory of Quantification", so simple and thorough classics on the cause and effect can be said to be treasures.
