Chapter 116 Departure

A ray of sunlight shines through the window and onto the floor of the room.

On the soft big bed, Sheryl's eyelids trembled and her eyes slowly opened. She was suddenly startled and sat up quickly. She looked down at the messy collar on her body and a blush appeared on her face.

"You're awake." A faint voice sounded.

Sheryl turned her head and looked around, and saw a handsome young man standing by the window, admiring the scenery outside.

"I'm very satisfied with your performance last night." Enzo turned around with a smile on his lips.

"Sir, yesterday..." Sheryl's face looked a little strange. She tried hard to recall what happened last night, but she only felt her head was a little bloated and she couldn't remember anything.

Enzo walked to the window and caressed Sheryl's face frivolously with his fingers.

"Have you forgotten that you have served me with your body all night?" His voice was low, and a strange luster flashed in his eyes, as if carrying invisible magic power.

"Yes, sir." Sheryl's eyes froze and her voice was stiff as she said, "I have served you all night."

"Yes, that's it." Enzo nodded with satisfaction and ordered, "Take care of this place."

Sheryl woke up as if from a dream, her eyes regained a glimmer of luster, she nodded quickly and began to help Enzo wash himself in the morning and tidy up everything on the bed.

Half an hour later, the two went to the castle hall.

"How was your rest last night? Are you satisfied with my arrangement?" Olandon walked towards him, looked at Enzo holding Sheryl's arm, and said with a strange smile on his face.

"Thank you, senior, I had a good rest." Enzo touched the tip of his nose and chuckled, "Now I finally understand why so many wizards are addicted to the secular life. If it weren't for the mission, I would still want to be in Snow Hoof City.

Stay a little longer."

"Haha, as long as you are satisfied." Olandon's eyes lit up and he smiled, "What, you want to go back to the academy?"

"Now that the cause of the deaths in Giethoorn has been found, I should report back to the academy as soon as possible." Enzo nodded slightly and chuckled, "This mission went so smoothly thanks to the help of Senior Olandon."

"It's just my duty." Olandon shook his head with a smile and said in a sincere tone: "The door of Snowhoof City is open for you. When this mission is over, you are welcome to come to me at any time."

Enzo smiled and nodded, but there was an imperceptible glint in his eyes.

...

Snowhoof City, city gate.

"Next, I can continue with my plan."

Ahead, a carriage gradually moved away and disappeared at the end of the road. Olandon breathed a sigh of relief and smiled on his face. Then, surrounded by Enos and other nobles, he returned to Snowhoof City.

Along the road, the carriage kept moving forward.

Behind, the shadow of Snow Hoof City has disappeared. Enzo is leaning on the carriage and taking a nap, holding Sheryl's soft body in his arms. The girl's faint body fragrance is lingering on the tip of his nose, but he seems a little careless.

Before leaving, Enzo specifically proposed to take Sheryl away just to be on the safe side, and Olandon readily agreed.

"Without any worries about me, Orlandon should take action soon."

Enzo was thinking in his mind and caressing the softness in his arms with a pair of palms.

"S-Sir..." Sheryl's face turned red with embarrassment, and her voice was trembling.

She lowered her head, but couldn't help but glance at Enzo secretly, with a hint of intoxication in her eyes. The handsome young man in front of her not only had a charming temperament, but was also an extremely noble wizard.

For her, it was undoubtedly a surprise to follow Enzo and leave Snow Hoof City.

Although she is still a slave, Sheryl, who grew up in the castle, knows many things that ordinary people don't know. She knows very well how lucky she is to serve a noble wizard.

"What's more, he is so handsome..." Sheryl looked a little obsessed.

Unconsciously, the sky became darker and darker.

The carriage had arrived at a wilderness. Diaz got out of the car and cleaned up the area. Then he picked up some branches and soon a fire was lit.

Enzo and Sheryl got out of the car, and the three of them sat around the fire.

A shadow suddenly flashed across the trees not far away.

"Dias, how far is it from the nearest town?" Enzo's eyes flashed, but his face remained calm, and he asked loudly as if he was unaware.

"About half a day." Diaz replied.

"Oh, that's okay." Enzo stretched and said casually, "It's hard to leave the academy once. I don't want to stay in the wild all the time. Let's find a place to live as soon as possible."

The dark shadows in the forest were hidden under the trees, quietly peeping at the three people beside the fire.

"Hmph! It seems that Olandon is still worried and sent an undead to monitor it?" Enzo sneered in his heart. The undead following the carriage thought that it was well hidden, but he didn't know that it had already been discovered by the chip.

In order not to alarm others, Enzo ate some dry food and then took Sheryl back to the carriage.

In this way, several days passed.

The carriage moved forward, getting further and further away from Snow Hoof City. One evening, the undead following behind suddenly disappeared. Enzo, who was sleeping in the carriage, opened his eyes, with a glimmer of light in his eyes.

"Have you finally left?" The corners of his lips raised, with a hint of a smile.

The soul body is different from human beings. There are many restrictions on walking in the world. The undead controlled by Olandon have already reached the limit of being able to follow such a long distance.

"Olandon should have relaxed his vigilance now. It seems it is time to return to Snowhoof City."

Enzo stroked his chin, his eyes flashing with thought.

Then, he opened the car door and gave instructions in Dias's ear. Dias nodded slightly and immediately drove the carriage to the nearest town and placed Sherrill in a hotel.

"Go at full speed, let's return to Snowshoe City!" Enzo ordered after leaving the town.

Dias nodded, then waved his whip, and the carriage started running, heading towards Snowhoof City.

Different from the previous Youya, this time the carriage was moving at full speed, and Dias drove all night. After seven days of running around, the two finally returned to the border of Silver Deer Kingdom.

Not far ahead, the towering walls of Snowhoof City are right in front of you.

"Why is it so quiet?" On the carriage, Enzo looked ahead and frowned slightly.

Even before he got close to Snowhoof City, he could still feel something strange. Everything around him seemed too quiet. Not only were there no civilians at the city gate, there were not even any guards guarding the city.

"Chip, check around!" Enzo ordered in his mind.

"Ding! Detection in progress... A large amount of negative energy factors were found ahead, without any breath of life."

The chip machine's answer shocked Enzo. He suddenly jumped off the carriage, then went straight to the gate of Snowhoof City and rushed in.
