Chapter 117 The Ring of Light

Rushing into Snow Hoof City, the surroundings were completely silent, and no one could be seen on the street.

Enzo frowned and kicked open the door of the nearby shop.

"This is..." Enzo's pupils shrank when he broke into the shop. Two stiff corpses lay quietly on the ground. They looked like they were two civilians. They had long since lost their life, but there was no trace of scars on their bodies.

"Same as the deaths in Giethoorn!"

Enzo looked stern, and quickly ordered Diaz to check the surrounding houses. The result was the same as this shop, the owners inside had all died quietly, as if their souls had been taken away.

Walking along the street, Enzo went straight to Snowhoof Castle.

"It's the same here! It seems that Olandon has already started to take action." A trace of solemnity appeared on Enzo's face. In Snowhoof Castle, sleeping corpses could be seen everywhere, including a few nobles he had seen.

"Chip, scan the surrounding area for energy fluctuations!" Enzo ordered in his mind.

"Ding! Detection... No energy fluctuations found."

The sound of machinery rang in his mind, and Enzo's heart sank. He raised his head, walked forward into the distance, and said solemnly, "Olandon has left Snowhoof City, so he must have gone to Giethoorn!"

"Dias, let's go." No longer hesitating in his mind, Enzo headed straight for Giethoorn.

Half an hour later, a pitch-black Giethoorn appeared ahead.

The dark atmosphere continues to spread, and the negative energy factors in the air are almost visible to the naked eye. Although they have not yet entered Giethoorn, both Enzo and Diaz can feel the evil power ahead.

Hiss! Hiss!!

As soon as he stepped into the gate of Giethoorn, Enzo felt a cold breath coming from his surroundings. In the darkness, pairs of red eyes appeared, and stiff corpses surrounded him.

"It's a ghoul!" Dias pulled out the knight's sword and held it with both hands.

When the surrounding corpses discovered the two of them, they pounced directly on them. The rancid smell was nauseating. Dias released his fighting spirit, the knight's sword ignited flames, and the battle began directly.

Enzo looked solemn and walked straight towards the tower.

Beside him, Dias swung his knight's sword fiercely, killing the attacking ghouls one by one. However, there were too many ghouls in the entire Giethoorn, and soon hundreds of ghouls were surrounding them.

ahead.

The tower in front was still a hundred meters away from the two of them.

"Dias, use all your strength!" Enzo said in a deep voice as he looked at the corpses coming up.

"As you command, Master." Dias took a deep breath, took out a red potion from his arms, then roughly crushed the test tube and drank the liquid inside into his mouth.

"Roar!" He roared like a beast.

As the red potion blended into his blood, Dias's eyes turned scarlet, his skin became hot, a violent aura surged out of his body, and the flames on the knight's sword in his hand burned blazingly.

His muscles bulged, his feet exerted force, and Dias rushed forward.

The power of the Demon Fighting Knight was truly released under the influence of the magic potion. At this moment, Dias entered a violent state, and his combat power was almost comparable to that of some weak third-level wizard apprentices.

The burning fighting spirit was as fierce as fire, killing more than ten corpses in an instant!

Dias single-handedly tore apart the group of corpses and opened a path ahead. Enzo showed no expression as he walked directly to the tower and shattered the copper lock on it with one punch.

The slight magic fluctuation dissipated, and the tower door opened, revealing the dark passage ahead.

Behind him, Diaz had already dragged a group of ghouls, and Enzo walked straight into the tower, quickly walking up the stairs that continued to extend upward.

The evil aura kept coming, and there were bursts of strange sounds coming from the top of the tower.

Walking up to the top of the tower in one breath, Enzo kicked open the door in front of him.

What you see is a space filled with black mist, exuding a cold atmosphere, and the scarlet blood on the ground spreads throughout the space, forming a huge strange pattern.

In the center of the space, with his back to the door, stood a figure in white robes.

Beside him, there was a half-person-high mirror, in which a figure vaguely appeared, wearing a black dress and pure white gloves, with an elegant temperament like an ancient nobleman.

Hearing the sound from the door, the figure in white robe slowly turned around.

"Enzo? I didn't expect you to be here." Olandon was a little surprised, shook his head and said regretfully, "You shouldn't have come, pretending you don't know anything, how nice it would be to just go back to the academy like this!"

In the mirror, the man in the dress spread his palms and said with some regret, ": My dear friend, it seems that the transaction between us has been discovered."

"I'm just a second-level apprentice, don't worry about it." Olandon looked indifferent and said with firm eyes: "No one can stop my plan, not even a formal wizard!"

"Olandon, how dare you make a deal with the devil?" Enzo narrowed his eyes slightly, with a trace of fear on his face.

The elegant man in the mirror exudes a strong evil aura, and his pure black eyes obviously do not belong to humans, but to a devil from the depths of hell.

"It seems that everything that happened in Giethoorn and Snowhoof City was your fault!" Enzo looked solemn.

"You mean those ant-like mortals?" Olandon said expressionlessly, ": Being able to dedicate their souls to the great Olandon wizard is the only supreme honor in their lives!"

As Olandon spoke, he opened his arms slightly, and a ball of silver light condensed in the palms of both hands.

Enzo's pupils shrank, and he felt an extremely pure energy from the two rays of light, as if the souls of countless lives were condensed together.

"With the souls of all life in Snowhoof City, I can finally become a real wizard!"

There was a trace of fanaticism in Olandon's eyes, and the two masses of soul energy also shone with a strong silver light.

"No one can stop me, no one!" Olandon said and raised his head, casting his cold gaze at Enzo. The magic power in his body vibrated, and in the dark space, countless undead appeared from the black mist.

"Kill him!" Olandon said coldly.

Countless undead screamed and came, Enzo's eyes flashed, and he immediately stepped back, waved his hand and released a shadow spear, which penetrated the several undead rushing in front.

"Holy Light!" With a low roar, Enzo raised his palm.

The sacred radiance erupted from the Ring of Holy Light, and the silver-white energy dispelled the surrounding darkness. The undead that came one after another, like melting snow mountains, let out a shrill scream.

"The Ring of Holy Light? It turns out you took it away." A trace of surprise appeared on Olandon's face, and he sneered, "It seems that you have noticed everything a long time ago, and you just pretended to know nothing."

Enzo said nothing, his eyes solemn.

The light emitted by the Ring of Holy Light caused the surrounding undead to disperse like a tide.

The true power of magic items can only be exerted by wizards who have mastered magic power. The power of this Ring of Holy Light in Enzo's hands is completely different from that in Ilenv's hands.
