Chapter 1,143 Accidental Necessity

In fact, in 2010, the first generation of Yaobian works had been produced.

After that, it was upgraded every year, which can be said to be a surprise every step of the way.

Master Lu has successfully made rabbit hair lamps on his own since 1998.

After successfully making oil-drop lamps on his own in 2000, he devoted himself without hesitation to the long journey of restoring obsidian changes.

Ordering troops on the battlefield and fighting for ten years,

In 2010, he finally succeeded in firing the first-generation obsidian lamp.

So how did he successfully bake it? In fact, it was not as difficult as imagined.

Chen Wenzhe had previously realized that the various glaze colors of porcelain are potentially related.

For example, Langyao red and Langyao green are the most obvious examples. They are all colored by the same element.

But just because of the difference in temperature,

Two completely different colors will appear.

Inaccurate temperature control,

The same coloring agent can form two completely different glaze colors, which is the basis for many kiln-made porcelains.

This is also the case in Jianzhan, except that when firing Jiankiln black-glazed porcelain, a coloring agent makes the color more variable.

Just like the drip glaze cup and the rabbit hair cup mentioned before, the temperature control is not good, resulting in various other glaze colors.

The Yao Bianzhan was also made slowly and slowly.

The path taken by Master Lu is to burn oil drop cups to slowly form spots, and finally to form flares.

Therefore, Master Lu jokingly called the first-generation Yaobian lamp that was just fired as the Oil Drop lamp version 2.0.

It's just that his oil drop cup is different. The oil drop cup he fired has a slight halo around the crystalline oil drop, so it is jokingly called version 2.0.

It’s just this inconspicuous spot core halo,

It was as if he saw a faint ray of light turning into dawn in a dark night, illuminating his heart.

From then on, he found the direction to move forward, and from then on he was out of control, and could no longer stop pursuing the ultimate light.

Therefore, in 2011, the second generation of Yaobian works was released.

One year has passed, two years have passed, and countless failures have been experienced.

Time after time, the vessel was fired with complete shapes and crystallized oil droplets. The halo around the oil droplet circle also increased significantly.

But in Lu Jinxi's eyes, the second and third generation works in the past two years can only be regarded as the 3.0 version of You Drop Zhan. At best, they can be called the 3.0 enhanced version, and they are not really Yaobian Zhan.

It can be said that since he discovered a slight halo on the outside of the oil drop lamp version 2.0, Master Lu knew that his feeling about Yaobian firing was right.

If the path of exploration is correct and the direction of research is correct, progress will naturally begin to accelerate!

Naturally, he became more and more confident in his pursuit of the ultimate transformation!

From then on, like a wild horse running wild,

His imagination was wide open, his thoughts were flowing like a fountain, and Yaobian's firing skills were out of control.

Therefore, from the first generation in 2010 to the current eighth generation, each generation is stronger than the previous generation;

From just a little drop of oil when it first appeared, to today's exquisite appearance, shape and color, each generation of works is constantly upgrading, and is constantly approaching the celestial eye of the Song Dynasty.

It was also at this time that Chen Wenzhe saw more useful information and understood why ancient obsidian lamps were so difficult to burn.

The probability of one in a million is really too low.

And to make a kiln and a lamp, no matter how fast the speed is, it will take three to five days, a week, right?

According to this probability, how many lamps must be fired to produce a perfect Yaobian Tianmu lamp?

Therefore, there must be something inevitable that is not accidental.

It may be accidental at first, but if you study it thoroughly, you will definitely find out the inevitable reason behind it.

This is the most powerful thing about Master Lu, he has found the crux of the problem.

And step by step, slowly everything is realized.

After many studies and continuous trial firings, he believed that the probability of the ancients firing the obsidian lamp was only one in a million because they could not control the temperature and atmosphere in the furnace when firing.

It will only occur accidentally when the temperature and atmosphere in the furnace reach certain conditions.

If you completely let nature take its course, if you fire and build the lamp without any control, the chance of obsidian changes will definitely be low.

From this, he determined that the generation of obsidian spot nuclei, halos and phantoms required certain temperature changes and adjustments to achieve the ultimate reduction atmosphere in the kiln.

After finding the feeling and finding the right approach, Lu Jinxi's new works every year since then have shown gratifying changes compared to the last time!

The fourth-generation work in 2013 has made particularly obvious progress compared to the enhanced version of the oil-dropping lamp from the previous three years.

At this time, the oil droplets are thinner, less crystallized, and the halo outside the droplets is more obvious. The oil droplets have turned into clustered spot nuclei, each forming a group.

By 2014, the fifth generation of his works had already begun to take shape.

The structure of the spot core in this fifth-generation work is clearer, and dazzling colors can already be seen in the halo outside the spot core.

Even the outer wall of the lamp shows a blue and purple halo.

In this way, Master Lu silently moved forward step by step on the road of Yaobian development.

Until 2015, his hard work paid off. When he opened the furnace door again, he was pleasantly surprised by what he saw.

What is the true experience of "one color entering the kiln, and many colors coming out of the kiln".

At this time, it was already the sixth generation of Master Lu's work, and it was also at this time that the changes in the sun began to appear, and sun spots appeared.

The round drop shape is flat inside the circle, well-proportioned structure, eye-catching blue color, and there are colorful haloes of blue, purple, yellow and other colors outside the circle.

After constant summarization and accumulation, in the following year, Yaobian firing techniques became increasingly stable, and the seventh-generation Yaobian lamps produced shocked the world.

Before this, no one has ever been able to restore such an amazing obsidian-shaped lamp in one glaze and one firing process!

I always pay attention to the neon-related aspects of domestic Jianzhan development, and soon discovered the amazing progress of Master Lu’s transformation.

The Neon Museum of Oriental Ceramics in Osaka took the lead in collecting Master Lu’s Yaobian works from this period, and sent an expert on ancient porcelain, Hitoshi Kobayashi, to Jianyang to search for Master Lu.

After research, Xiao Linren determined that Master Lu’s newly fired Yaobian Jianzhan is the closest to the Song Dynasty Yaobian Tianmu Yaobian Jianzhan, a national treasure in the Neon Museum.

In 2017, the eighth-generation obsidian lamp fired by Master Lu is already comparable to the ancient porcelain of the Song Dynasty.

At this time, the jianzhan he fired was already large and exquisite in shape, simple and thick, and integrated into one piece.

The spots inside the lamp are colorful rabbit hairs outside the core, which are dazzling. The flares are perfectly smooth and clustered in groups.

The halo outside the flare changes, and the blue color changes with the light and angle, constantly changing the color of the lamp body. The colorful halo is ever-changing, beautiful and wonderful.

"Gather a square of gravel soil, build an inch of kiln soil, use a pair of skillful hands to bake everything into a myriad of colors, color the sky and the earth, and condense thousands of colors into the kiln."

This is the highest compliment to Master Lu. Seeing this, Chen Wenzhe has also learned all Master Lu's techniques.
