Chapter 1,146 Reaching the Peak

Chen Wenzhe plans to play with a big one, also as a finishing touch to the red glazed porcelain.

At this time, every piece of red-glazed porcelain he produced should be of high quality.

However, when he arrived at the studio, Chen Wenzhe discovered that there were actually some large jars of utensil embryos here.

Looking at the workbench again, all kinds of color materials are available.

This is the glaze left when he fired doucai.

"It's such a waste. How about firing a sky-shaped jar first? At the worst, I can bake a blue-and-white glaze-red sky-shaped jar. Let's take a look at my current craftsmanship!"

Several times, he thought about imitating some high-quality Tianzi jars, but never made them.

I definitely didn’t have much confidence before, but it’s different now!

If you encounter an opportunity this time, just do it, just in time to warm up your hands.

Finally, we started firing the most exquisite Chinese red piece.

Porcelain imitating the word "天",

The Tianzi jar is still the most classic, because this craft is mainly seen on Chenghua Dou colored jars.

So now, after making the doucai eggshell cups, it is a matter of course to imitate some large doucai jars and write the inscription "天" on them.

This kind of jar can be divided into two types: long round belly and short round belly.

The outer bottom is glazed with white glaze, and the character "天" in regular script is written in blue and white in the center. There is no border outside the inscription.

Its patterns include earth dragon, vanilla dragon, sea dragon, seahorse, walrus, twining branches, etc.

There are two types of covers, one with a flat top and no buttons, and the other with a raised umbrella-shaped cover and a beaded button on the top.

Chen Wenzhe doesn't want to make too many of these types of vessels, so the imitation Tianzi jars are the most important ones.

The strokes of the word "天" are balanced, natural and powerful when starting and holding the stroke, and the handwriting appears to be in one go.

No stagnation.

Some professionals concluded: "The word Tian without columns is indeed official, and the word Shen Yun has a light brown border. Although Kangxi's forgery was skillful, both the long and short sides were well done."

Chenghua Doucai Tianzi jar is very famous, and there were imitations in Wanli Dynasty in Ming Dynasty, Kangxi Dynasty in Qing Dynasty, and Yongzheng Dynasty.

In addition to Doucai wares, there are also blue and white products imitated by the official kilns in Jingzhen during the Yongzheng reign of Kangxi, but there are currently no Chenghua blue and white Tianzi jars.

In addition to the fonts on these imitations, they are not as straight and powerful as those on the Chenghuadou Caitian jars. Their shapes are also different, with the abdomen being large or too flat, making them appear clumsy.

Judging from the chronological order, it is normal for the word "天" to appear on the porcelain of the Ming Dynasty or Qing Dynasty.

If the word "天" appears on porcelain before the Ming Dynasty, it must be fake.

Therefore, Chen Wenzhe started to imitate the Chenghua jars in the Ming Dynasty and later on. He would definitely imitate the exquisite Tianzi jars from the third dynasty of the Qing Dynasty.

Wait until all the materials are finished,

Some of the messy porcelain he wanted to imitate has already been finished.

At this time, Chen Wenzhe's thoughts

Transfer it again to red glazed porcelain.

Ruby red glaze is not easy to prepare, but ordinary copper red glaze is not difficult to prepare. They can even prepare the crotch, so they have to prepare a lot.

Besides, since he wanted to make a series of red glazes, he had to make them all.

He has done Xuande red before, blue and white underglaze red, etc. He has also done a lot.

He calculated carefully and found that it seemed that some modern red-glazed porcelain was not made.

Therefore, the next step is the red-glazed porcelain of the third and third dynasties of the Qing Dynasty, especially the red-glazed porcelain of the Kangxi period. Several pieces must be imitated.

In the past, I only made Xuandehong, and it was because of Xuandehong that it led to other types of utensils, such as eggshell pottery cups. Now I am back to the normal path.

Because after Xuande, the red glaze declined for a time and did not recover until Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty. Therefore, Chen Wenzhe is now making red glaze porcelain from Kangxi and after Kangxi.

The three dynasties of the Qing Dynasty are an insurmountable hurdle. No matter what kind of porcelain is imitated, these three dynasties must be imitated. Whose works from that period are the best!

Just a high-temperature copper-red glaze porcelain from the Kangxi period, including Langyao red glaze, cowpea red glaze, and Ji red glaze.

Chen Wenzhe has made all these porcelains. It saves trouble now because the finished products are already displayed in the exhibition hall of the factory.

At this time, he only made a few pieces to commemorate the red, that is, Jihong glaze, which completed the red glaze porcelain of this period.

This time, Chen Wenzhe mainly made stationery supplies. He rarely made this in a systematic way before. At most, he only made a pen holder and a pen washer.

This time when he got the chance, he planned to make a batch of them.

The Jihong glaze of Kangxi in the Qing Dynasty is a variety imitating the Xuande red glaze of the Ming Dynasty, but the color of the red glaze is mostly black and red, and some are lighter and brighter, and the tone is very uniform.

At this time, the carcass of the Jihong ware is hard and dense. Some glazes have fine orange peel wrinkles, and some have a dripping shape due to the thick glaze layer. The edges of the ware are often dark brown due to dripping glaze accumulation.

Common utensil shapes include monk hat pots, plum bottles, bowls, plates, bowls, tall bowls, etc.

Either signed with official kiln inscription, or without inscription.

It is important to point out here that Kangxi Jihong glaze was not only used as sacrificial vessels, but also as study utensils, daily porcelain, etc.

Chen Wenzhe imitated this batch of royal study utensils. You must know that this kind of porcelain from the Kangxi period is very valuable.

Not to mention other things, let’s talk about pen holders, there are red glaze pen holders, black glaze, multicolored, pastel and even doucai pen holders.

According to actual statistics, there are quite a lot of ceramic study utensils from the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty.

When he started making them, Chen Wenzhe realized that there were really many of them.

Mainly include pen holders, pen cases, pen washers, printing boxes, wash basins, arm rests, water bowls, inkstones, paperweights, etc.

The varieties cover blue and white, multicolored, doucai, pastel and other common color glazes.

There are also blue glazes, sprinkled blue glazes, black gold glazes, bean green glazes, Ji red glazes, sky blue glazes, brother glazes, blue and white glazes with red glazes, malachite green glazes, Lang kiln red glazes, etc. Chen Wenzhe has been exposed to these, and even only made them.

I have had one or two pieces of work.

But there are many that he has not come into contact with, such as gold color, enamel, white ground ink color, yellow, green and purple three colors, yellow ground three colors, green ground three colors, purple ground three colors, ink ground three colors, red and green colors,

Porcelain body paint inlaid with mother-of-pearl, etc.

Here, I must say Langyaohong again.

This series of red glaze porcelain is actually an imitation of Xuande red glaze, but it is brighter than Xuan red glaze.

Compared with the above series of red glazed porcelain, Langyao Red has a strong vitreous luster and is dazzling.

That’s why it has become one of the most colorful among my country’s precious copper-red glazes.

Fortunately, modern technology has developed very quickly. Otherwise, if we just use the traditional old technology to bake Langyao Red, the probability of firing it will definitely be very low.

The traditional Lang Kiln Red has very strict requirements on the firing atmosphere and temperature. It is very difficult to fire a successful product, so there is also a saying "if you want to be poor, burn Lang Kiln Red".

It's different now than it was before, even different from a few days ago.

Because as he continued to fire porcelain of various types and glaze colors this time, especially when firing Jianzhan, his grasp of the firing atmosphere has really reached its peak.

Therefore, now that he has gone back and fired Langyao Hong again, he no longer has the feeling of "if you want to be poor, burn Langhong", because his firing success rate is really high.
