The identity of the previously unearthed bronze Kui dragon-patterned dragon plate is still doubtful. After all, it is a rootless tree and its provenance is unknown.
Even if the land is unearthed, it has not been confirmed yet, and no more clues have been found.
Generally speaking, where cultural relics are found, there is a high probability that tombs or cellars will be found near them.
In other words, a cluster of cultural relics may be excavated near the "Bronze Kui Pattern Panlong Pan".
Back then, this “possibility” was quite exciting!
After completing the research work on the "Bronze Kui Pattern Panlong Plate", the superior department established a research team.
The experts of the team went to the place where the "bronze dragon plate with Kui pattern" was originally found. However, after several careful explorations and excavations, they found nothing.
As for why such a precious bronze disc was found alone on the mountainside, experts gave two possibilities at the time:
The first possibility is that the tomb robber lost it while escaping after successfully robbing the tomb;
Secondly, it is possible that wealthy families who escaped from the war were buried here.
Regarding these two hypotheses, everyone agrees more with the second one.
Some researchers consulted various classics afterwards and finally found some clues in "Jiading Chicheng Chronicles".
More than ten miles away from the place where the "Bronze Pan Kui Pattern Dragon Plate" was found, in Daxi Lizhai Village, there is the ruins of an ancient city called "Xu Yanwang City".
The "bronze dragon plate with Kui pattern" may have been brought to the remote Wenling by the fleeing descendants of the Yanwang clan after the death of Xu.
In fact, it is not uncommon to study ancient bronze vessels carefully, such as the bronze Pan Kui pattern dragon plate.
For example, the "Six Birds and Dragon Pattern Plate" from the late Shang Dynasty is now hidden in the Zihe Art Museum in Neon. Both the image of the dragon and the production method of the six three-dimensional birds on the edge of the plate are similar to the "Bronze Kui Pattern Pan".
"Dragon Pan" is highly similar.
The place where the "Six Birds and Dragon Pattern Plate" was unearthed was the activity area of Xu State and Qunshu during the Shang and Zhou Dynasties.
Therefore, some people speculate that the "Six Birds and Panlong Pattern Plate" and the "Bronze Kui Pattern Pandragon Plate" are most likely to belong to Xu and Shu's national treasures and are sisters.
It’s so annoying, I don’t know when the Japanese stole it!
How many national treasure-level cultural relics like this are left overseas?
However, this seemingly reasonable speculation was ultimately proven to be untrue.
From 2002 to 2008, the Jiangsu and Zhejiang Provincial Institute of Cultural Relics and Archeology, in conjunction with the Wenling Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television, Press and Publication, conducted trial excavations in the ancient city of Daxi three times.
In the end, it was discovered that this was the site of the Dongou State City in the early Western Han Dynasty, not the Xu Yan King City.
Therefore, the theory that the "bronze dragon plate with Kui pattern" was brought to Wenling by King Xu Yan cannot be established.
The origin of the "bronze dragon plate with Kui pattern" is still an unsolved mystery.
Where does it come from? What is it used for? No one has ever known.
Since its birth, many people hope that one day they can suddenly uncover the mystery of the "bronze dragon plate with Kui pattern".
The small "Bronze Dragon Plate with Kui Pattern" is now collected in the Wenling Museum and has become a treasure of the museum.
In 2006, the new administrative center building of Wenling City was completed. In front of the building, a "bronze dragon plate with Kui pattern" was imitated at a scale of 8:1 to bear witness to Wenling's long history.
Needless to say, if this one had not been a replica, it would have been placed in front of the building instead of in the lobby.
There is not much controversy about this plate because the natural rust is so obvious.
Besides, for such a big plate, it would be very troublesome to make it look old after being counterfeited.
Also, when Zheng Yu bought it, the price was just affordable. He only spent 10,000 yuan to get it.
If it is an old thing, the time wasted just doing it is more than 10,000 yuan.
Not to mention 10,000 yuan, even 100,000 yuan may not be enough.
"You are so lucky, boy!" Chen Wenzhe could only admire.
Others say he is lucky, but is it actually his luck? It is his strength!
When he hunts for treasures, he relies on his strength. As for where his strength comes from, that's not important.
If he has a cheating device, isn't that a manifestation of his strength?
"Originally, we planned to imitate all the large plates in China. When you come back, you will not only see a group of cows outside, but also a pile of plates in the hall. It was too late before you came back so quickly. ."
Looking in the direction Zheng Yu pointed, there were indeed some bronze vessels placed there, and they were all bronze plates.
These are all imitations, but the imitations are also very exquisite.
"Where did you find the master?"
After just a few casual glances, Chen Wenzhe was sure that this was indeed the work of a master.
"We cooperate with the Forbidden City to make imitations. We pay and they provide the people. In the end, they only need to give us a top-quality product for the imitation." Li Jinli said with a smile.
"Sure enough, any problem that can be solved with money is not a problem!" Chen Wenzhe also laughed.
Domestic bronzes are not simple, and they cannot be copied just by anyone who wants to.
Just like the bronze bells that Chen Wenzhe imitated before, each has its own difficulties. Anyway, it is very troublesome to imitate.
"Is this a plate? The first cow in Xixia was lifted out of the tomb by someone. The Prince Wuding series dug out from the river were also discovered by accident. This plate seems to be the same. It must have been kicked out!"
Looking at the bronze plate in front of him, Chen Wenzhe discovered that there are really many lucky people in this world.
A copper basin was kicked out, and finally it was found to be a plate. This is the process of discovering the copper basin.
Looking at the densely packed small characters inside, Chen Wenzhe was impressed, the imitation was really good.
The plate was discovered on January 19, 2003 by five villagers in Yangjia Village, Mei County, Baoji County, Western Shaanxi Province while collecting soil from the north slope of the village.

After receiving the news, archaeological experts conducted rescue excavations overnight and unearthed the plate. Finally, the plate was collected in the Baoji Bronze Museum.
The plate is from the Western Zhou Dynasty, why is it called a plate?
The 逨 is the owner of the utensils, and the plate is the water container.
According to the naming standard of bronze, it is called Tupan.
The height of the pan is 20.4 cm, the diameter is 53.6 cm, the diameter of the ring foot is 41 cm, the depth of the abdomen is 10.4 cm, and the height of the animal foot is 4.2 cm.
The tray is a water container and is generally used in conjunction with the bowl.
It has a square lip, a folded rim, a shallow belly, attached ears, a paved head, and four animal feet attached to the circle of feet.
The abdomen and ring feet are decorated with curved patterns, and the auxiliary head is a beast's title ring.
There is a 372-word inscription cast inside the plate. The content of the inscription is based on the achievements of eight generations of the Shan family's ancestors.
It also intersperses with the great achievements of the twelve emperors of the Western Zhou Dynasty in battle, administration, and governance of Linze, outlining the general outline of the history of the Western Zhou Dynasty.
The inscription mentions King Wen and King Wu who prospered the Zhou Dynasty and destroyed the Shang Dynasty.
After becoming the king, King Kang expanded his territory.
Historical facts such as King Zhao's campaign against Chu and Jing, King Mu's campaign against all directions.
This not only praises the emperor's great achievements, but also praises the glorious history of the Shan family, as well as the rewards and honors given to his family by the Emperor of Zhou.
