Chapter 1,493: No matter what, its a series

Although Buddhism is widely spread in our country, many of the things that Buddhism spreads are not actually from our country.

For example, there are life-size statues of Buddha and the founder of Buddhism, Sakyamuni. There were life-size statues of various ages.

That is, the 8-year-old life-size statue, the 12-year-old life-size statue and the 25-year-old life-size statue.

Among them, the 8-year-old life-size statue and the 12-year-old life-size statue are both in my country’s snow areas.

The 8-year-old life-size statue of the Buddha was first enshrined in the Insangu Kingdom of Kosala Kingdom by King Pasenadi, and was later welcomed to Nepal.

During the Tang Dynasty of our country, Songtsen Gampo, Zampo of Tubo, married Princess Chizun of an ancient local country, Nibala.

The princess brought the 8-year-old life-size statue of Buddha to the snowy area and enshrined it in the Jokhang Temple.

The 12-year-old life-size statue of Buddha was also originally enshrined in King Pasenadi.

Fu Jian, the former Qin emperor during the Sixteen Kingdoms period, respected Buddhism. He gave three priceless treasures to Dharmapala, the king of Yin San, and asked for a 12-year-old life-size statue of the Buddha.

During the Tang Dynasty, Princess Wencheng married Songtsen Gampo, and among the items she brought with her was this 12-year-old life-size statue of Buddha.

After arriving in the snowy area, the 12-year-old life-size statue of Princess Sui Wencheng was first enshrined in Ramoche Temple.

Later, Princess Jincheng of the Tang Dynasty made peace with Tubo. After she arrived in Xinjiang, she placed the 12-year-old life-size statue in the Jokhang Temple and moved the 8-year-old life-size statue to the Ramoche Temple. This is still the case today.

In addition, those things that look like glass beads should be relics.

Everyone in China should know this thing, but very few of them have actually seen it.

The relics of the Buddha are even more precious. They are the bones left behind by the Buddha Sakyamuni after his nirvana.

I heard that after the fire, a skull, two shoulder blades, four teeth, and a middle finger bone were obtained from the ashes.

These are a few, in addition to 84,000 colorful bead-shaped real body relics, these are called Buddha relics.

In 185 BC, there was a fierce conflict between Brahmanism and Buddhism in India, which was the "Sino-Indian Dharma Dilemma" incident.

In order to protect their sacred relics, Buddhists took their sacred relics to seek refuge overseas, and Buddha relics began to flow to overseas countries.

At present, a total of 8 temples have been discovered and recognized in my country that house the Buddha's relics.

They are the relics of Sakyamuni Buddha from Tianmenshan Temple in Zhangjiajie, the relics of Sakyamuni Buddha from the underground palace of Leifeng Pagoda, the finger bone relics of Sakyamuni Buddha from the underground palace of Fufeng Famen Temple, and the relics of Buddha from Leiyin Cave in Yunju Temple.

The remaining four include the Buddha relics from the Iron Pagoda of Ganlu Temple in Beigu Mountain, the Buddha's Tooth Relics from Badachu Lingguang Temple, the Buddha's relics from Ashoka Temple, and the Buddha's top bone relics from Ashoka Pagoda in Dabaoen Temple.

The most precious one is the Buddha's top ossuary unearthed at the Dabaoen Temple site in Jinling in 2008, the only one of its kind in the world.

Before being unearthed, it was buried deep in the underground palace of Dabaoen Temple, and is currently enshrined in the Foding Palace of Niushou Mountain in Jinling.

And now, these precious relics appeared in front of Chen Wenzhe.

Especially those rare relics, there is no shortage of them.

You need to know that there is only one thing like the scapula head bone in the world. Where did the second one come from?

It would be strange if this kind of thing were genuine.

So, instead of looking at these things that you don’t know whether they are true or not, or what kind of bones they are made from, it’s better to look at those scriptures!

Among the scriptures, the most well-known is probably the Bayeux Sutra, right?

When Buddhism was born, there was no paper in the ancient seals, so Buddhist sutras were recorded on the leaves of the "Bedoro tree", so it was called the Beiye Sutra.

These Bayeux Sutras are products of the birthplace of Buddhism and have a long history, so very few of them have been handed down from generation to generation.

The most important thing is that many of these Buddhist scriptures are single copies, and there is no second copy at all, so they are so precious that they are called the "Panda of Buddhist scriptures."

It is said that the 657 volumes of Buddhist scriptures that Master Xuanzang brought back from Tianzhu were all Bayeux Sutras.

In 648 AD, the 22nd year of Zhenguan, Prince Li Zhi built the Daci'en Temple in memory of his mother's eldest grandson, the Empress.

The famous Big Wild Goose Pagoda is located in Daci'en Temple and was built under the personal supervision of Master Xuanzang.

On the fourth floor of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, there is a Bay-leaf Sutra with two leaves about 40 cm long and 7 cm wide, which records Buddhist scriptures written in ancient Sanskrit.

At present, there are less than 20 pieces of the same type of Bay-leaf Sutra in existence, which can be said to be extremely valuable.

Li Tianqiang has a lot of such things here.

Although it looks a lot like the Bayeux Sutra, could it be true?

This is also based on luck, so just in case, you bought all these high imitations?

In fact, there is really nothing besides these Bay-leaf sutras, mainly the life-size statues of Buddha.

For those religious people, this thing is a real treasure.

Now he has got a complete set here. Even if it is a fake, if it is placed in the exhibition hall, it should be able to attract some attention.

I have to say that Li Tianqiang still has great ideas.

Not only does he dare to think and act, but he also has something else in mind.

For example, he actually used the gilt silver plate with the divine pattern in front of him to hold a large stack of Bay-leaf Sutras.

This made Chen Wenzhe dumbfounded. If what he said at the beginning might have been true, then what he saw now could only be regarded as a lie.

Even if no flaws can be seen, there is a slight possibility that these things are genuine?

Impossible, absolutely impossible.

Although I have sentenced these things to death in my heart, I still need to watch them.

After all, each of these things is a national treasure. Even if it can be imitated to be similar, it is not easy. It requires extremely sophisticated technology.

This gilt silver plate with divine and human patterns was discovered in 1988.

At that time, a gilt silver plate with a diameter of about 31 cm, a thickness of about 4.9 cm and a weight of 3.2 kg was unearthed in Baiyin Jingyuan County, Gan Province.

The silver plate is decorated with three circles, the outermost circle is a pattern of plants, birds, and animals, and the middle circle is a ring pattern of 12 human figures.

In the center of the plate, there is a young alien male sitting on the back of a ferocious beast. At the bottom of the plate, there are inscriptions in Western letters engraved in the circle.

The man engraved on the plate is naked and has a robe wrapped around his abdomen.

He holds the palm with his right hand and looks relaxed, but he is not from our country, he should be from Asia Minor.

According to expert research, this silver plate is most likely an item from the Byzantine Empire that came from the Silk Road.

Chen Wenzhe really didn't expect that Li Tianqiang's collection of antiques was also a series of collections.

For example, the inscriptions at the beginning were said to be from the Northern Wei Dynasty.

If you want to find Ouyang Xun, then go to Ouyang Xun.

If you want to make inscriptions on inscriptions, make a big pile of them.

Even a life-size statue of Buddha can be found in a series and made into a complete set.

It seems that these foreign treasures are also a series.

Chen Wenzhe looked through it and found one.

Regardless of whether this is true or false, it is of some value.

Because the material is red agate, well, it is also made of gold.

This is a gold cup with a tiger handle inlaid with red agate. It doesn’t matter whether it is genuine or not. It’s just the material, so it’s worth a bit of money.
