Chapter 1,693 Painted Pottery Flower Lamp

The wisdom of the ancients is infinite, but in fact it should not be much different from that of modern people.

The advantage of modern people is that they are more knowledgeable in the wonderful era of information explosion.

The information of the ancients was limited, and their knowledge was not as good as that of modern people. However, smart people are still smart.

As long as they look in the right direction, there are so many things they can do.

For example, this shadowless lamp, a series of fifteen copper lamps, is indeed a treasure of great appreciation and use value.

It has a unique conception and beautiful shape. Humans, monkeys, birds, dragons and tigers coexist in one body, which embodies the harmonious relationship between ancient man and nature.

Its principle of eliminating "dark shadows" is nearly 2,000 years earlier than modern surgical shadowless lamps, which makes us marvel at the wisdom of ancient craftsmen!

Obviously, Chen Wenzhe had such a light in front of him.

Of course, although this shadowless lamp is generally similar to the one found in Beihe, the details are still very different.

For example, the placement of the lamp panel, the size of the lamp panel, and the height layout of the lamps are all different.

Of course, the most important thing is the different patterns. This shadowless lamp also has dragon-shaped patterns, but it seems to be a dragon pattern.

There are also some other animal-shaped patterns, but the layout and image are different from the Beihe one.

However, they are basically the same, only the details are different.

Unfortunately, there is no inscription on this shadowless lamp. If Chen Wenzhe did not go back and check its history, it would be absolutely impossible to know where it came from.

"From a large tomb in Shuchuan?"

Needless to say, this large tomb has been robbed and excavated for who knows how many years. Otherwise, such a well-preserved ancient bronze shadowless lamp would never be able to enter the market and be purchased by Cao Qingchun.

Fortunately there is no inscription, otherwise it would be even more troublesome.

It is very likely that Cao Qingchun bought it here and was arrested by the state department.

"It's well preserved, and there's no trace of repair at all. This is really rare."

Chen Wenzhe inspected it very carefully, so he was very sure that this thing was perfectly preserved when it was unearthed from the ancient tomb.

Such a situation is very rare.

But it makes sense to think about it, because tomb robbers cannot pick up scraps of scrap metal when they go to a tomb. Naturally, they choose to rob things that are in good condition and look very valuable.

If you don't look at the inscription, just from this point of view, the value of this shadowless lamp is obviously higher than that of the Zhongshan Kingdom.

You must know that the height of the shadowless lamp in front of you is not low. Even without measurement, Chen Wenzhe looked at it as more than one meter.

The bronze lamp from the tomb of King Zhongshan during the Warring States Period is the tallest lamp of the Warring States Period, but it is only about 83.

Also, when the copper lamp was first unearthed, its base and branches were scattered.

When the archaeologists were in the process of splicing and restoring, they found that the process was extremely simple and could be completed even if they were blindfolded.

It turns out that the lamp tree has sockets at its base and on each branch.

And the tenons of each section have different shapes, so you can know how to match and install them by touching them with your hands.

Moreover, the tenons and sockets are made precisely and fit together very closely, ensuring the stability of the light tree.

If you look down at it from above, you will find that each lamp does not overlap or interfere with each other, and you can see every lamp.

What's even more ingenious is that when all fifteen lamps are lit, there is no shadow under the lamps, so it is known as the "shadowless lamp".

On a dark night two thousand years ago, lighting this tree lantern must have been an extremely vivid and bright picture.

In today’s terms, would it be called atmosphere? It’s just a big move to attract people.

"Wen Zhe, look at this thing, does it look like the bronze sacred tree in Sanxingdui?" Cao Qingchun said at this time.

Chen Wenzhe was stunned when Cao Qingchun said that, but if he looked carefully, he really looked very similar.

In the lobby on the first floor of his museum, there is a complete replica of the Sanxingdui Museum, which contains a bronze sacred tree!

The overall shape of the bronze lamp in front of me really looks like a big tree.

Fifteen branches hold up fifteen lamp panels, arranged in an orderly manner and in a well-proportioned manner.

The body of the lantern is divided into eight sections, with three dragons coiled around the tree trunk, birds chirping and monkeys playing among the branches.

Three single-headed and double-bodied tigers hold up a circular base, on which two male servants are throwing food to monkeys.

Isn't this just a group of small animals playing and having fun in the trees?

The most important thing is the shadowless effect, which is almost exactly the same as the principle of modern shadowless lamps such as surgical lamps.

In addition, when dealing with the balance problem of this huge copper lamp, which is nearly 1 meter high, the craftsmen used the principle of lever balance in the design.

The distribution of lamp posts and lamp branches, and the distance between the decorations on the lamp branches and the lamp posts form a wonderful balance.

Craftsmen more than 2,000 years ago created such a practical and aesthetic treasure, which really amazed us.

Seeing such a seemingly simple but technologically advanced bronze vessel, Chen Wenzhe really wanted to learn more about it.

When he was making bronze bells, he had very high bronze making skills.

Coupled with the technology he acquired from the three-legged frog bronze drum, four-yang square statue and other bronzes that he had previously picked up, his bronzes are made with high skills, including antiques and distressing.

Now that he has obtained so many ancient bronzes, he can learn even more techniques.

If it weren't for the trouble of making bronze ware, he really wanted to copy a batch of the top bronze ware in the country.

The main reason is that the domestic bronze trade is too restricted. There are many national treasures and important treasures that Chen Wenzhe can only drool over.

Therefore, if you can’t get the real thing, it would be fun to make a batch of them yourself and display them in a museum!

“It’s a bit difficult to make bronze, but it’s not difficult to make ceramics!”

Looking at the bronze shadowless lamp in front of him, Chen Wenzhe remembered another piece of pottery.

It was a painted pottery flower lantern, also a "shadowless lantern".

Since it is a painted pottery flower lantern, it is naturally pottery.

It is a classic work of the Han Dynasty. It was unearthed from a Han tomb in Shouling Village near the Mancheng Han Tomb. It is currently on display at the bd City Museum.

This lamp is 108 meters high and has a base diameter of 50 centimeters.

The structure of this lamp consists of three parts: lamp, lamp stem, and lamp holder.

On the lamp stem, there are 4 lamp branches along the edge of the flat lamp plate and on the wall. There are 11 slender dragons in total, holding 11 lamps.

At the base of this lamp is a turtle, symbolizing longevity, holding up the lamppost.

Under the lamp plate is a raspberry lamp holder that symbolizes Kunlun Mountain, and there is an evergreen tree sculpture on the mountain that represents the mountain forest.

There are two layers of lamp panels in the middle, with evergreen sculptures and lanterns of immortals riding dragons spaced around the edges.

At the top of the lamppost, there are also three lamps with immortals riding dragons.

At the top of the entire lamp is a red bird-shaped lamp with its head held high and its wings spread out.

In ancient myths and legends, Yuren and Kunlun Mountain are the elements for becoming immortals.

Yu Ren is the envoy of the Queen Mother of the West, and the Tianzhu on Kunlun Mountain can connect heaven and earth and reach the fairyland directly.
