Chapter 1,761 The Extravagant Golden Beast

Fate changes and quality changes from generation to generation.

In the early years of the Song Dynasty, there was a similar social atmosphere.

After experiencing the turbulent wars in the late Tang Dynasty and the Five Dynasties, and experiencing the suffering of devastation and precarious life, people longed for a quiet and stable life more than ever.

The beautiful society in the early Song Dynasty created an atmosphere of "revival".

In strong contrast, the Song people used a large number of "extravagant" gold and silverware, and at the same time placed their beautiful expectations on art and life.

This person shows a strong love for painting, literature, music, etc.

They enthusiastically appreciate the beauty of the world and are interested in natural things.

Only those who have experienced turbulence can better understand the value of the ordinary.

The strong poetic, elegant and natural aesthetics are also reflected in these handmade products, which have become daily objects that conform to human nature and express themselves.

As for the Song Dynasty gold and silver hoards like Pengzhou, we have now discovered a lot of them, and there are even more treasures that are unknown, submerged in the torrent of history, and hidden privately.

I thought it was wrong to take that slate home and build a nest for the dog.

In the dim light, we saw very few pots and pans.

There are a lot of things like that found in China.

The story begins in November 1993. With the slow economic development in the 1990s, offices in some areas needed to be expanded to accommodate them.

From this, it cannot be inferred that the lower limit of the cellar should be earlier than the "Shaoxi" period.

It cannot be seen from the inscriptions that the artifacts were produced in many places.

The most important thing is that it is buried deep in the ground. From this, it seems that some small things have happened, but they are controllable.

After cleaning, a total of 350 cultural relics were unearthed.

For example, when construction was underway underground, ancient tombs and cellars were suddenly discovered. There were really few things like that.

The subsequent cellars were all in the same situation, such as the later Dong Mansion cellar.

At that time, those who were not brave enough jumped up and took a few pieces.

The silverware cellar is less than two meters deep from the ground. The bottom and walls of the cellar are made of thoughtful blue bricks, and the top is covered with three stone slabs.

Agriculture is very developed. Its geographical location has been important since ancient times and it has left rich historical relics.

At the same time, through the study and comparison of decorative patterns, it was found that almost all the artifacts showed obvious characteristics of the Southern Song Dynasty, and the upper limit was later than the late Southern Song Dynasty.

If it happened suddenly, it must have been buried very hastily.

This resulted in a section of land that was the lowest and had the least silt.

The reason why a small number of artifacts belong to a small family is because the inscription under a large number of artifacts is "Qi".

Judging from the first excavation results, the cellar is also privately hidden.

At that time, a migrant worker discovered that there was not a single flat stone slab outside the foundation pit.

The reason for the burial was probably to avoid the war, because the inscriptions on the unearthed artifacts cannot predict part of the scene at that time.

This time Chen Wenzhe really found a lot of things. Of course, the hidden gold and silverware hoards discovered at this time were not just the previous group of tomb robbers.

On February 10, 1982, just after the Spring Festival, villagers in Nanyaozhuang, Xuyi County finished dredging ditches in preparation for spring plowing.

At this time, the foundation has not been dug to a depth of about two meters, and we are ready to call it a day when it becomes daylight.

There were 343 pieces whose shapes could not be identified, of which 27 were gold and the rest were all silver.

For example, in November 1993, a brick vault was discovered on a street in Sichuan Province, and 551 pieces of Song Dynasty gold and silverware were unearthed.

When they saw it turned out to be gold, there was an instant commotion among the workers, and no one immediately expressed their intention to divide it.

The gold artifact unearthed from the Nanyao Village in Xuyi County, Jinling, is the heaviest archaeological discovery in the country so far.

The big ditch was only less than one meter narrow. When Wan Yiquan dug his first shovel, he came across a complete copper basin.

The types of gold and silverware are small, the shapes are very unique, and the decorations are exquisite and delicate, making them very rare in China.

But through them, they once again extended and pulled out the clues.

The place where the cellar was discovered is also in Pengzhou City, on the northwest edge of the Sichuandu Plain.

I squatted up to check, wiped away the mud, and a yellow golden beast was revealed.

In the seventy-seventh year of King Zhaoxiang of Qin, Fan County was established in present-day Pengzhou City, one of the seventeen counties in Shu County.

Infrastructure construction work is being carried out in the West Street of Pengzhou City. It is not too hot in Chengdu in November, the sky has turned white early, and migrant workers are still digging foundation pits.

That way, the gold and silver can be taken away, and it will be very eye-catching and make people believe it.

The results are often more tragic than that, especially when someone rushes them off and robs them all quickly.

So we called the workers to move the stone slabs. Before we lifted the stone slabs, we found a small hole covered in the slabs.

In the eighth year of Duanping's reign in the Southern Song Dynasty, the Mongolian army occupied the area far away from Chengdu, and a small group of people from Sichuan Province ended their escape.

Because it is located in the Sichuandu Plain of the Land of Abundance, the soil is fertile and it has a sub-cool monsoon climate.

The result that time was considered bad, with a little over 870 pieces left at the end.

But the gold and silver cellar was not a well-organized cellar, and it was placed very reasonably.

And "Shaoxi" was not before 1190.

But in 1993, during the severe crackdown, few people wanted to retreat.

But no one refuses, so a small amount of treasure will cause uproar.

Of course, in the formal reports at that time, there was not much that could be said.

Therefore, those artifacts should belong to the same family.

Then it was not just a small piece of mud, it was thrown to the shore and still sank.

The mountainous area in Pengzhou accounts for 50% of the total area, hills account for about 11%, and plains account for about 39%.

The shapes of the artifacts in that batch were few and far between, and they were rarely in sets. There were no obvious traces of craftsmanship on the artifacts, which provided high-quality information for the study of gold and silverware of the Song Dynasty.

The entire cellar is 1.2 meters long, 1 meter narrow and 0.9 meters deep.

So I chose to call the police. The police arrived and cordoned off the scene, and archaeologists cleaned up the scene overnight.

There are no obvious signs of being wrapped with linen gauze on the surface of the gold and silverware, but the linen gauze has long since rotted.

There are still a few gold coins embedded in the depression at the bottom of the golden beast. There is a young man named Wan Yiquan outside the village. I have been newly married for a long time and have to take care of my pregnant wife, so I was the last to arrive at the construction site.

If the owner of the cellar heard the news that the Mongolian soldiers were marching south, he buried the gold and silverware that the young man had accumulated, hoping to take them out before the war was over.

It is talking about Sichuan Province, and it often happens in other places. It must be more important. This is a discovery in Jinling.

But due to various reasons, he never came back, so he stayed quietly.

Most of them are from the south, and some artifacts are produced in Sichuan Province.

Combining those clues, we found that before "Shaoxi changed to the Yuan Dynasty", a small incident did occur in Pengzhou.

Since there are few clues about the unearthed artifacts, there is no word "Shaoxi" engraved on the bottom of the golden bowl.

The discovery process is also very special, and of course it can be said to be very dramatic.

There is no official work and no public work.
