Chapter 1850 The Colorful Colors of the Yuan Dynasty

The Yuan Dynasty red and green colored lion ball pattern jade pot spring vase was once published in the "Complete Collection of World Ceramics" published by Neon.

In addition, the Neon Nezu Museum of Art also has a red and green jade pot spring vase with entwined branches and treasure patterns.

This is the first "official" announcement that people must know about the red and green colored porcelain of the Yuan Dynasty.

Neon researchers think this way: “The independent variant lotus petals in the decoration have the style of the Yuan Dynasty, while the double lines on the middle stem of the banana leaf and the lack of coloring have the characteristics of the Ming Dynasty, so they belong to the late Yuan and early Ming Dynasty.

.”

Later, Mr. Geng Baochang, an expert on ancient ceramics at the Palace Museum in Shendu, identified the above-mentioned collections and determined that they should be red and green wares produced in the Yuan Dynasty.

With the confirmation of the existence of multicolored porcelain in the Yuan Dynasty, people's understanding of the multicolored porcelain in the Yuan Dynasty became more and more abundant.

For example, the shape of the colorful porcelain of the Yuan Dynasty is basically the same as that of the blue and white porcelain of the Yuan Dynasty.

Mainly include bowls, cups, plates, goblets, stationery utensils, porcelain sculptures of characters and animals, as well as various styles of jars, bottles, etc.

Generally, the shapes are relatively regular, especially large ones.

The typical representative among them is the Yuan Dynasty colorful Tang flower lion pattern jade pot spring vase.

The representative among them is the colorful folk kiln porcelain piece, which was found in Hangzhou, but it is a pity that it is a fragment.

It has a green and white glaze with a thick base, exposed core, and no obvious outline traces. The center is slightly raised like a navel, and the outer center is painted with red and green water grass patterns. The decoration is sloppy.

The overall impression of this bowl is that of quaint and elegant coloring, with the color and gold pieces integrated into one, resplendent and intricately decorated.

The only thing without a mark is a bowl with a floral pattern of entwined branches unearthed from the Jitun Yuan Tomb in Fuyu Dai, Jisheng in July 1992. It has a red double circle on the inside of the base and the inscription "Zhi Zheng Nian Zhi" in regular script.

In the decoration, there are banana leaves, ancient coins, cloud heads, and upward lotus petals with intervals.

Among the patterns of colorful porcelain in the Yuan Dynasty, red, yellow, and green colors were filled flat within the outline, making the picture rich and cold, and full of national characteristics.

Let’s talk about color painting. The colors of colorful porcelain in the Yuan Dynasty were rarely red and green or red, green and yellow.

It cannot be seen from this that the colorful porcelain of the Yuan Dynasty was very common, and it cannot even be said to be very precious.

If I saw that Chen Wenzhe bought eight pieces of gold-plated wares and did not bargain because of the small quantity, but instead paid less, how could I take out those porcelains that obviously looked like antiques?

The Yuan Dynasty egg-white glazed Privy Palace gold-painted porcelain is the same, and it is considered to be a very rare porcelain.

"Not yet? There is not much of that kind of porcelain. You want a lot less. You are also an insider. There is no antique shop, but there is one that is open. That time I came out to find the source of goods. Of course, you are making low-quality imitations. As long as

Authentic, those colorful porcelains look like they are, but they are still antiques, and they are just used to open a shop to decorate the facade."

The flower is painted with the word "rice" in a circle, the center of the bowl is painted with a single circle, and a chrysanthemum with four leaves is painted inside;

The young boss was still very conceited, and he seemed to want to sell it at a low price. The batch of porcelain in my hand had long been sold out.

The body color is white, the glaze color is clear, and the inside is full of glaze. It is a typical Shufu kiln type.

The lower and upper parts of the flowers are decorated with some string patterns, and a week of modified Yanglian is painted on the wall.

At the front is the inscription, which is the small inscription that can be seen behind the colorful porcelain heads of the Yuan Dynasty.

One of the representative works is a jade pot and spring vase with colorful branches and precious flowers. Unfortunately, the porcelain is also hidden in the neon.

The most typical one is the colorful lion-tangcao pattern jar, which is a kind of Yuan Dynasty colorful porcelain with few theme decorations.

Mr. Geng Baochang's book "Identification of Ming and Qing Porcelain" cites the colorful folk kiln porcelain pieces of the Yuan Dynasty discovered in Hangzhou.

The wall inside the bowl is painted with peonies, gourds and flying bird-shaped leaves.

Use red color to describe the string pattern or outline the entire pattern.

The seven-color flower-gold bowl has an open mouth, a deep belly, short and large legs, and there is glaze inside the bottom legs. There is no water chestnut-like bulge in the bottom.

The abdomen has a pattern of lions playing with balls, and there are many jewels in the middle, such as ivory, silver ingots, squares, corals, etc.

Next, when looking at the body glaze, we can see that the body of the colorful porcelain of the Yuan Dynasty, whether it is a folk kiln or an "official-built and civilian-fired" vessel, is particularly good in quality, firm and delicate;

The important point is that its craftsmanship is obviously influenced by the pottery and copper enamel inlays of the Western Regions, making it unique and producing a weak artistic effect.

The decoration of this bowl is outlined with purple, blue, malachite green and enamel glaze. It is decorated with the technique of stacking flowers and standing powder, and then adds color to the outline, and inlays gold pieces to create a landscape.

As mentioned later, this bowl has a total height of 6 cm, a diameter of 14.5 cm, and a full diameter of 5.2 cm;

Among them, red is the main color, green is set off, and yellow is embellished;

One of the classics is the Yuan Dynasty egg-white glaze secretly engraved seven-color gold bowl. Hanhai's 2014 autumn auction cannot be said to be groundbreaking, and it was sold for 74.75 million yuan.

The inner edge of the bowl is decorated with a honeysuckle pattern and dark patterns, and the center of the bowl is decorated with a Sanskrit text on the persimmon base pattern;

The colorful porcelain of the Yuan Dynasty has very few decorations, including animals: dragon, phoenix, fish, unicorn, lion, mandarin duck, egret, peacock, oriole, etc.;

The carcass is dark and firm, and the glaze is warm and crystal clear;

If the seven colors are not applied under the shadow green glaze, nor under the privy glaze, nor under the special white glaze, the white glaze has the least underglaze color.

The foot wall is dotted with the word "rice", and the inside of the bottom foot is painted with a red double circle, with the inscription "Zhi Zheng Nian Zhi" in regular script.

There are also some products from private kilns. Due to the selection of materials, washing, and refining the mud, the carcass is hard and not fine, and the carcass is white and grayish or yellowish.

Rare things mean they are expensive, and more means expensive. Therefore, although those porcelains are as colorful and beautiful as those of the Ming and Qing Dynasties, their value is indeed high.

Plant categories: peony, philodendron, algae, gardenia, lotus, camellia, chrysanthemum, Ganoderma lucidum, pine, bamboo, plum, etc.;

This bottle is also hidden in Neon. The shape of the bottle is the same as that of Yuan Qinghua, with a large mouth, a thin neck, a drooping belly, and a small abdominal diameter;

"Don't tell him, you really don't have much!" The old boss laughed.

There is an arc pattern along the inner edge of the bowl and is decorated with dark water ripples. The upper part of the inner belly is decorated with lotus petal patterns and four treasure patterns.

Character categories include: civil servants, military commanders, noble men, fairy aunts, Tathagata, Guanyin, gods, Taoist priests, character stories, baby games, etc.

The main auxiliary decorations include single and double string patterns, overturned lotus petals, sea water patterns, banana leaf patterns, four treasure patterns, 璯璐璐 patterns, moiré patterns, mat patterns, octagonal and eight-circle patterns, rhombus grid patterns, rice-shaped patterns, etc.

Although I think the porcelain in my hand is a treasure, no matter how I look at it, it is an antique and a real antique. Now I am worried about selling it, and it is not a matter of low price.

Today, I am not looking at Chen Wenzhe as a wealthy man. If I were, I would be so cold-hearted. The body, glaze and shape of this bowl are consistent with the common blue and white porcelain of the Yuan Dynasty. The color of the decoration is deep and solemn, the composition is rigorous, and the primary and secondary are coordinated, all expressing

It shows the characteristics of the Yuan Dynasty.

The outer edge is decorated with seven-sided continuous mat patterns, the outer wall is decorated with gardenia branches and serrated leaves, and the middle is decorated with leaf veins;
