Chapter 81 Nahas blessing

Yunchu ordered two jars of Tusu wine and Jiaobai wine. He was worried that his family would have problems after drinking them.

What really satisfied Miss Zhixia from Ruyi Winery was the hundred jars of "Nine Brewing Spring Wine" ordered by Yun Chu.

This is almost the strongest wine that can be found in Chang'an City. It is said that it is almost as strong as the Sanlejiang made by barbarians.

In line with the virtues of later generations, foreign things are always more expensive. Therefore, Sanlejiang, which is based on Persian ale and adds three kinds of medicinal materials, naturally beats the nine-fermented "Jiu Ying Chun Liquor"

, becoming the most expensive spirit in Chang'an City.

Yunchu's tongue is actually very sensitive. This is related to the fact that he drank too much wine in the past. Therefore, when tasting the alcohol content, he can already control the accuracy of the tasting to plus or minus one degree.

Sanlejiang is also a good wine that can be used to murder people. In fact, any wine with added medicinal materials is very suitable for murder, because the strong taste of herbs can cover up the taste of poison, and the strong stimulation of medicinal wine can numb

Human nerves can protect the symptoms of poison attacks.

The concentration of Sanlejiang must not exceed 26 degrees. If the taste of herbs is removed, Yunchu feels that he can drink one or two jars without any problem.

The alcohol content of Jiu Ying Chun Liquor should be higher than that of Sanle Liquor, because it does not have a strong herbal taste, so it tastes softer than Sanle Liang.

Yunchu needed alcohol but didn't want to make his own wine, so he had to buy some Jiu Yunchun wine from Zhixia and distill it to see if he could get medical alcohol with a concentration of 75 degrees.

He doesn't want to participate in the prosperous wine industry of the Tang Dynasty, at least not now. Everyone can understand that a small official from the eighth rank, doing some hard work and making some money, would invent something and rely on a craft to share the spoils.

To make money, this is too much.

He made alcohol purely for the sake of the people around him. Last summer, in Kucha, Yunchu saw many people dying of ulcerated wounds.

He really didn't want the people around him to die humbly like those people.

Zhixia obviously had a lot to say to Yunchu, but unfortunately, Yunchu only talked about business with her, and he didn't want to say a word of extraneous words.

No matter what the relationship between Zhixia and Fang Zheng is, he just wants to stay far away from this woman. As far as he knows, Fang Zheng has never been a magnanimous person, and women are the ones who affect friendship the most. Well, you see

Either you fell in love with your friend's woman, or you didn't fall in love with your friend's woman.

When Yunchu returned home, Peng Wulang and Zhang Ting came to visit again. This time Yunchu did not see them and pushed the matter to Cui.

Just when Yun Chu was cutting wood with a saw to make a chess set, Mrs. Cui came to see Yun Chu and said that the gain was not worth the loss. She said nothing else and began to help Yun Chu pack up the sawed wood wheel.

When Yunchu saw off thirty-two wooden wheels and began to sort out the roundness and smoothness, Cui whispered: "If merchants cannot be kept at home like slaves, such merchants will be of no use to the Yun family.

It's meaningless and may even become a stain on the Yun family's life.

Liu Sancai's affairs are handled by Lang Jun, so I naturally dare not say anything. However, for the long-term calculation of the Yun family, Lang Jun should gradually usurp 70% of the power in Liu Sancai's hands.

Even if you give him a large sum of money and kick him out of the team, it is better than letting him be the master of a business involving the Yun family."

Yun Chu thought for a moment and said, "What do you think a merchant like Deshenglong is in the eyes of Mr. Cheng?"

Mrs. Cui sighed and said, "De Shenglong's shopkeeper is actually Cheng's house servant."

"You mean, our family can handle it this way?"

"It must be done this way. People like Peng Wulang and Zhang Ting are only qualified to be the slaves of the Yun family, not their associates.

If in the future, someone else's noble family knows that our family is a partner with a merchant, my husband will only be able to marry a girl from a merchant family, and there will be no possibility of marrying a girl from a noble family.

For a husband, marrying a woman from a merchant family is purely a low-level job."

Yun Chu smiled and said: "I only marry women I like. If I like her, I will marry even a farmer's daughter. If I don't like her, I won't marry a princess."

Mrs. Cui smiled and said: "It is not impossible to marry a peasant girl. Among the officials in the Tang Dynasty, there were not a few who married peasant girls as their wives. But as for the princess of the Tang Dynasty, if the husband can do it, he must not do it."

Men who marry our Princess of the Tang Dynasty rarely end well."

Cui's words were already very tactful, but Yun Chu's heart ached a little when he heard it.

In short, Cui's words have only one meaning, which is absolute control!

Under what circumstances can one person have absolute control over another person?

There is only slavery.

Therefore, the essence of Datang society was the absolute control of one group of people over another group of people.

Yunchu began to understand why he could not find middle-class guesthouses and restaurants on the streets of Chang'an.

It's not that it can't exist, it's that people in the Tang Dynasty simply don't allow such a gray area to exist.

Mrs. Cui always believed that she had an unshirkable responsibility for the Yun family, so after saying these words to Yun Chu today, she would most likely start plotting against Liu Sancai.

What Yun Chu thought was a beautiful thing eventually led to a dark fork in the road.

This made Yunchu feel very bad. Fortunately, the grand festival of Yuan Day arrived.

On this day, all the people in Jinchangfang came to congratulate Yunchu on the new year and congratulate the village chief on another new year.

Several women of the Yun family tied red silk threads to copper coins day and night, and made them into necklaces for the husband to reward the people in Jinchangfang.

This was almost a grand ceremony, and Yun Chu had to look at the newly dressed residents with a smile on his face from early in the morning to pay New Year greetings.

This year is very important for the people of Jinchangfang. Everyone has a new warm clothes to wear. Although the words Deshenglong are embroidered on the back of the clothes, this still cannot conceal the joy of the people.

What's more, as long as someone signs up to come in and pay New Year's greetings to Yunchu, Jiufei will take out a very beautiful copper coin necklace tied with silk thread from the basket and give it to the person who pays New Year's greetings.

It wasn't until the evening that this large-scale New Year greeting ceremony was completed.

Mrs. Cui counted the remaining necklaces in the basket and was somewhat dissatisfied because there were only sixty-two necklaces left.

When preparing, Mrs. Cui prepared twenty coins in Kuanyu, and now there are sixty-two more coins. In other words, forty-two people did not come.

Apart from those who were over eighty years old, those who were paralyzed in bed, those who had broken legs, and those who were too sick to get up, there were twenty-seven people who didn't come.

Therefore, in the new year, these twenty-seven people will be the focus of Fangzheng Liu Yi's care until these twenty-seven people are taken care of and leave Jinchangfang.

There is really no delicious food in Chang'an City in winter!

Mainly because there are no good seasonal ingredients.

Radish, lotus root, bean sprouts, okra and spinach with crushed ice are the most important ingredients at a winter banquet.

Tofu is more expensive than meat, and there are a lot of chicken, duck, goose, fish, mutton, and dog meat. Meat like pig meat is really inedible now.

There is no carp in the fish meat, because the royal family always felt that the people eating carp meat were like eating their Li family alive.

Ding Dayou came to his home and sat for a while, then hurried back to Shangzhou.

His arrival more than doubled the variety of meat in the Yun family, mainly game.

Yunchu stood next to the barbecue grill, grilling venison for Naha and Old Monkey. In fact, venison is not very delicious. The main reason is that the fat on the deer is not rich enough. When it is grilled or cooked,

If it is not cooked or grilled with other fatty meats, it will be dry.

Fortunately, Ding Dayou also sent a clean and skinned wild boar. The meat of this wild boar didn't have much to eat, mainly because the little fat on the wild boar was too attractive to Yunchu.

Brush the roasted venison with warm lard and mix it with seasonings, which immediately improves the quality of the venison by more than two levels.

Although Naha and Old Monkey happily ate roasted venison, their eyes were always fixed on the half bowl of lard residue that Yunchu didn't have time to eat.

They felt that the half bowl of lard residue was much more delicious than the roasted venison, and every bite was filled with oil.

The old monkey came here today to convey Master Xuanzang's message to Yun Chu. He planned to make Yun Na his lamp-holder at this year's Land and Water Conference in Daci'en Temple.

At the beginning of Yun Dynasty, when Mrs. Cui heard the news, one of them opened their mouths and knew nothing, while the other lay on the ground and kowtowed to the old monkey like pounding garlic.

Mrs. Cui kowtowed until her scalp was broken. After kowtowing, she even ignored the Chinese New Year. She hugged Naha and cried bitterly. Before she could stop crying, she dragged Naha to the house to change clothes like a madman, as if she was afraid of getting old.

The monkey changed his mind and Master Xuanzang had other plans.

"The Water and Land Conference has a complete set of Buddhist rituals. The focus is to appease the dead souls in the world, offer them blood food, and let them enter reincarnation and become humans, beasts, or livestock again.

I hope those dead souls will not stay in the world and disrupt the order of this world.

At that time, Master Xuanzang will recite the newly translated "Mokoboya Paramita Heart Sutra" one hundred and eight times on a lotus throne surrounded by butter lamps.

When Master Xuanzang recited the scriptures, he would be blessed by ten thousand Buddhas, and the scriptures would naturally speak the Dharma, and obstacles to retribution, karma, and worries would naturally be eliminated.

Once the three obstacles have been removed, all suffering will be eliminated, and both humans and ghosts will be able to obtain great peace and happiness.

Of course, Yun Na holding the lotus lantern to guide Master Xuanzang also has merit, and the child will naturally achieve supreme liberation. From then on, he will not be troubled by greed, anger, ignorance, pride, suspicion and wrong views."

After the old monkey finished speaking, he looked at Yun Chu with disdain and said, "A child as blessed as Naha actually ended up in the home of a junior official of the eighth rank like you. It's really a pearl covered in dust."

Yun Chu shook his head and said, "You mean, from now on, no one will make any comments about Naha's appearance, right?"

The old monkey said with some pride: "If you harm Naha, you will harm the Buddha's power. There will be eight heavenly dragons to punish him. If one life is not enough, there will be eight catastrophes."
