Chapter 15 I am a widow, but I am not blind

The wood for the base was almost gone. Qin An helped move the rotten wood back, and then spent several days building a yard for Su Yan.

Many people in the village came to take a look, but because Qin An was there, no one dared to say anything or cause trouble.

Su Yan couldn't help him much, so she spent the whole day researching some food for him to eat. One day, while doing laundry, she saw a group of children carrying crabs in the ditch.

Thinking that there was no meat at home and everything she ate these days was vegetarian, she finished washing her clothes, picked up the bucket and headed to the river ditch.

The river was very long, and she carried it up from below. Not to mention there were a lot of crabs, and the adults in the village probably didn't have time to catch them and eat them.

"Hey, Widow Li, you don't have anything to eat? Do you want to move this thing to eat?"

A big and thick man stood by with a bucket and spat on the ground, standing by and watching.

He glanced around and said slyly: "Sleep with me and I'll give you two kilograms of meat."

Su Yan was too lazy to look at him, bent down to carry the crab, and said disgustedly: "Two pounds of meat? Even if you bring a pig over, I can't stand it."

"You are ugly and old, and you only want to do shameless things."

"If I looked like you, with pimples all over my face, I wouldn't dare come out to see anyone, why would I want to sleep?"

"I am a widow, but I am not blind."

The man's face suddenly turned ugly. He dropped the bucket, took off his shoes and wanted to get off, "I've given you shame. Seeing that I slept with you, what else can you say!"

"I belong to the Qin family now. If you dare to touch me, Qin An will definitely beat you to death."

Su Yan watched his actions and walked a little further to the opposite shore. As long as he dared to come down, she would immediately run ashore.

As soon as he heard this, the man froze, stood there and looked at Su Yan like a piece of meat, and finally spat, "I'm just waiting for Qin An to get tired of playing with you. Do you think he will stay with you forever? Don't even think about it.

Yes, I’m just trying to protect you."

Then he added: "He is not a good guy. If he kills his parents, he will kill you sooner or later."

"Even if it's not a good thing, it's still better than a disgusting beast like you." Su Yan hated people who said that others would defeat others and kill their parents.

Qin An must feel very uncomfortable with someone so close to her parents.

That's probably the case, he doesn't want to marry a wife.

Su Yan carried the bucket and went to the opposite shore. Just as she was about to leave, she saw a man walking not far away, his tall figure showing his strength under the backlight.

She breathed an inexplicable sigh of relief, and the tension in her heart disappeared. She smiled and shouted, "Brother Qin."

When the man heard this, he quickly looked over and saw Qin An coming. He put on his shoes and held the bucket and walked around the field on the right.

Soon Qin An came over, glanced at the man, then looked at Su Yan, and said in a low voice: "Don't come to a place like this in the future, it's too out of the way."

Su Yan nodded and explained: "I want to bring some crabs back to eat."

Qin An said nothing, took off his cloth shoes and socks and went into the river. The big stone that Su Yan couldn't lift just now was easily lifted.

There was a big crab inside, and he grabbed it immediately without worrying about being pinched.

Su Yan quickly came down and gave him the bucket. Qin An put it in and looked at her wet cloth shoes, "You go back first."

"It's okay. It's a hot day, so you won't catch a cold."

Just as Su Yan wanted to come down, she saw Qin An staring at her, as if he was going to beat her up if she came down.

She continued: "Then I will wait for you on the shore."

Qin An then withdrew his gaze and continued to catch crabs. Su Yan glanced at him a few times. He looked fierce on the outside, but he cared about people in his heart.

She stepped on the rocks to the other side and picked up his cloth shoes. Qin An glanced at it from the corner of his eye and was slightly stunned.

He stretched out his hand and said, "I'll take it myself."

"I'll take it. It's inconvenient for you. It will fall into the river and get wet later." Su Yan took the shoes and went to the shore. When he left, she followed.

The two of them went up the river ditch, and when they approached the village, Qin An came up with a bucket, half full of crabs.

Su Yan handed him the shoes, but Qin An didn't wear them. He was walking in front with the shoes in one hand and the bucket in the other.

He was tall and his dazzling eyes were blocked. Su Yan walked behind him and blocked it.

It was almost noon. As soon as they entered the yard, Qin An sat down to cook crabs. Su Yan scooped up some flour, kneaded it, cut it into dough pieces, and cooked the crabs together later.

Then she went to the edge of the yard and picked some green onions. The green onions she had not eaten before were planted on the edge. Although they were a little green, they grew quite well.

"Brother Qin, when we go to town next time, we will buy some onion seedlings and garlic seedlings, and then we will find an unnecessary soil bowl to plant them."

Qin An always talks little, so when she said these things, he would just say "hmm".

Sometimes Su Yan has the illusion that, well, it feels like a couple living their lives, one talking and the other listening.

She pinched some green onions and went into the kitchen, washed them and chopped them into pieces.

After doing this, she went out to help get the crabs. These crabs were probably caught by others. When she reached out to pick them up, she was caught by the crabs on the side.

Suddenly she made a hissing sound and shook it. The crab was shaken a little, but the big pincers were still on it.

Qin An looked over, reached out and grabbed her wrist, and then squeezed hard, and the big pliers broke.

Su Yan was stunned for a moment and looked up at him. It was probably due to being exposed to the sun these past few days that his face was a little darker and the dry lines on his face were a little more obvious.

Next time I go to town to buy some face wipes.

Otherwise it will be very painful to wash your face in winter.

Seeing that her fingers were bleeding, he got up and went to the room to get a packet of medicinal powder, dipped some in it and applied it on her. After doing this, he said, "You don't need to do it."

After saying that, he put the medicine bag back into the house.

After that, Su Yan stopped cooking crabs. When her fingers stopped bleeding, she collected the clothes in the yard and let them dry for a while before they were dry.

Clothes tend to become dry if left in the sun for a long time.

At this time, the village chief appeared at the gate of the courtyard. Because of what happened last time, he didn't like to see them. "The fish pond will be built in the village. It will start tomorrow at ten o'clock. Don't be lazy." After that, he left.

Su Yan held her clothes and said to Qin An, "Can you separate the fish?"

The original person went to help out every year, but she didn't get any fish every year. The villagers choked her with words about the man she didn't have at home.

Qin An said "Yeah", "You don't have to go."

Su Yan nodded. She couldn't divide the fish, so of course she wouldn't help. Then she folded the clothes of the two of them separately in the main room, "Brother Qin, the clothes are on the stool. Remember to bring them into the room later."

"You're going to have a fish tomorrow, and I'll clean up the house if I have nothing to do at home. Can I come into your house?"

"good."

Qin An was a little uncomfortable with someone taking care of the house at first, but after getting along with him for half a month, he started to get used to it.

Su Yan didn't say anything. Seeing that he was almost finished washing, she went to light the fire. When Qin An came in with it, she took it over.

Add some more pork, chili peppers, and wild peppercorns into the pot.

After the spices were fried, she poured the crabs in. After a while, she poured some water into the pot, and finally pulled out the dough and placed it on top.
