Chapter 16 Qin An is very reassuring

After simmering for about a quarter of an hour, she opened the lid, and a scent came out. Qin An, who was washing his hands, glanced at it and then glanced at the side of the woman's face.

The corners of his mouth were inexplicably softer.

Main hall

Su Yan handed the bowl and chopsticks to Qin An and warned, "It's a bit hot, don't eat too fast."

Qin An said "hmm", stretched out his hand to pick up the noodles, lowered his head and took a mouthful. It tasted very good. Before Su Yan could ask, he said in a low voice: "It's delicious."

Su Yan suddenly smiled, picked up clean chopsticks and picked up crabs for him, "Then eat more."

"I've worked hard on you these past few days."

"It's not hard."

Qin An looked at the crabs in the bowl, paused, and then said, "This can be sold in a food shop."

Su Yan also planned this. If the seller could make some money, she would rely on selling for the time being. After saving more money, she would find some kind of business.

"I have this plan. The day before I go to town next time, I will move the crabs and give them to the shopkeeper to taste."

The two of them said nothing after that. Qin An stopped attacking the base in the afternoon and ran out of wood. He went up the mountain to hunt with his bow and arrow.

Su Yan followed him up the mountain. This time we entered the deep mountains. There was nothing to pick up outside. It was too hot.

It was much cooler inside, and it started to feel chilly after a while.

Qin An never walked fast and kept an eye on her. Su Yan naturally noticed it and sped up her pace.

When they reached a flat place, Qin An stopped and said, "Just look around, don't go too far."

Probably because he was afraid that she wouldn't listen, he added: "There are snakes here, and there is less grass here, so it is safer."

Su Yan: "..."

It was okay if he didn't mention it, but she was a little creepy when he mentioned it, "Okay, I'll wait for you here."

After Qin left, she looked for mushrooms nearby. The area was covered with pine needles, and she peeled off the branches and found a lot of mushrooms.

She didn't want some of them because she didn't know them, and it wouldn't be worth it if they were poisoned.

I even saw black fungus on a few rotten logs and picked about a bowl of them.

In about half an hour, the basket was full.

When she walked to the edge, she realized that it was the edge of a cliff with a river below. If there was a drought in this village, there would probably be no shortage of water.

Just as she was about to turn around and leave, she accidentally caught a glimpse of a grass on the edge of the cliff. She bent down to take a closer look, and her eyes lit up. This was the grass that the drug store wanted.

She looked around and saw that she couldn't pick it off, so she had to wait for Qin An to come and get it.

She tentatively called out a few times, "Brother Qin, Brother Qin..."

After calling several times but no one responded, she gave up calling and turned around to wait for him. After walking more than a dozen steps, she saw Qin An running over with a bow and arrow.

She was stunned for a moment, then came to her senses and said quickly: "Brother Qin, I'm fine."

Qin An breathed a sigh of relief when he saw her, strode over, glanced at the basket full of mushrooms, "Are you going down the mountain?"

"No, I saw the grass that the medicine shop wanted, on the cliff over there." Su Yan explained.

Qin An followed her and took out the drawings to compare them. They were indeed exactly the same, but he couldn't get them and had to find a rope.

"Go down the mountain first."

Su Yan looked at the herb, and Qin An pulled her down so that she could pick it: "Brother Qin, you pull me, and I will pick it."

Qin An frowned and refused without thinking: "No, it's too dangerous."

Su Yan was actually quite relieved about him. He was very strong. As long as he didn't let go, it would be fine. "It's okay to pull me with your strength. I don't want this herb."

"It's too troublesome to go down the mountain. It takes several hours to go back and forth."

Qin An looked around, turned around, walked a few steps, pulled the vines on the ground hard, and several strands were broken.

He twisted it into a strip, tied one end to the tree, and planned to tie the other end to himself. Su Yan quickly stopped him and said, "Tie it to me. You hold me. It will be much safer if you tie it to the tree vine."

"I can't hold you back."

"You can carry hundreds of kilograms of stuff, and you have no problem pulling me along."

Qin An hesitated for a while before agreeing. The vine tied a tight knot around her waist, and then pulled hard several times. She felt relieved when it didn't break.

He stretched out his hand to hold her wrist, then tightened it and warned: "Hold me tight, don't let go."

Su Yan could feel his strong force, which made her wrists hurt. Looking up at the rough man's handsome face, she felt relieved for no reason.

Qin An is indeed a very reassuring person.

She slowly went down the cliff, just enough to reach the herb.

She pulled hard and came, feeling a little happy, and then shouted, "Brother Qin, it's ready."

Qin An pulled her up with force, and he could clearly feel relief on his expressionless face.

The next moment, Su Yan pushed the herb to him, fearing that he would not want it. She said sincerely: "This is yours. If it weren't for you, I wouldn't be able to pick it. I just helped a little."

"Next time you go to town, just buy a pound of meat for me to eat."

Just when Qin An was about to say something, he heard her say again: "If Brother Qin is polite to me, I will be embarrassed to ask you for help in the future."

Qin An didn't say anything. He wrapped the herbs in cloth and put them in his sleeves. "I'm going to get the prey. Wait for me." After saying that, he turned around and left.

It was obvious that he just heard Su Yan shouting and ran over without even asking for the prey.

Qin An hunted two pigeons, which weighed about a pound. It was already dusk when the two of them came home from the mountain.

Su Yan sat and rested for a while, watching Qin An go to boil water. After a while, he scooped it out and put it in a basin, then threw the two pigeons in and boiled it.

She subconsciously asked: "Aren't you going to sell it?"

"Well, keep it to eat."

Qin An waited for a while and then started plucking the hair. He then said: "I've cleaned it up, you can do it."

Su Yan knew that he wanted to feed her, so she was a little moved and said sincerely: "Thank you, Brother Qin."

Qin An raised his hand unnaturally to wipe his sweat, and then continued to pull the pigeon feathers.

Su Yan didn't rest any longer. She picked up a dozen mushrooms, washed them with water, and then started to stir-fry the soup.

After cleaning up, Qin An put the pigeons on the stove, stood there for a while, then turned around and went out, taking an ax to chop wood in the yard.

Some people were looking at their door, walking over and over from time to time to see what the Qin family were doing. They often smelled the fragrance these days.

But I only saw Qin An chopping firewood in the yard.

The children were more courageous and ran in without knowing whose family they were. They were about three or four years old.

He looked at Qin An with his big eyes. Qin An looked at him and their eyes met. He turned around and ran out crying, "Wow... mother..."

Su Yan happened to see her in the kitchen and immediately laughed. Qin An heard the laughter and turned his head to look over.

Su Yan caught his gaze and immediately stopped her gaze. Soon she couldn't hold it back anymore and burst into laughter.

Looking at the woman's smiling face, Qin An's heart suddenly softened, and he felt strangely throbbing. He reacted and looked away.

The base of the ears is red.
