Fahai travels through Tang Sanzang Chapter 438: Tripitakas demonic nature is terrifying and rare in the three realms; its just a poor monk who overestimates his ability.
Chapter 438: Tripitakas demonic nature is terrifying and rare in the three realms; its just a poor monk who overestimates his ability.
The Ten Great Bodhisattvas of Buddhism.
Apart from Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva and Manjusri Bodhisattva in the underworld, and Maitreya who has already become a Buddha... there is only one left who has not yet taken action.
This time, it was the Great Concentrated Immovable Bodhisattva who took action to lift out the Vajrapani Bodhisattva whose body was half buried.
The big-crested Bodhisattva Fudo is also known as Fudo Mingwang.
He is the Bodhisattva who most practices the Tantric method in Lingshan. He is the first of the five great kings of Tantric Buddhism. Under the instructions of the Great Sun Tathagata, he displays the wrathful form of his two arms and subdues all ghosts, demons and chaotic kings.
"Prince Ming, please!"
On the road to the West, Fa Haicai once pinched the seal of Fudou Mingwang and borrowed the power of Mingwang to subdue the demon, so he knew very well how powerful this Mingwang was.
Now that I am discussing Buddhism with this deity, Fahai is naturally very cautious.
"The poor monk has a sword that can cut away the roots of troubles."
Then, a magical sword appeared in his hand.
"The little monk is trapped in endless karma. I wonder if King Ming can cut him off?"
Fahai naturally knows the origin of King Fudo's magical sword. It is said that with just one swing, this sword can cut off all the roots of people's troubles... But Fahai does not think that this magical sword will harm him.
effect.
After all, the roots of my troubles are completely different from those of ordinary sentient beings.
When it comes to firmness of mind, King Fudo is the best in the spiritual mountain. Although he often appears angry, his compassion is unshakable. Moreover, his angry appearance is not directed at all living beings, but to destroy the evil spirits that invade all living beings.
Be afraid and stay away, so that sentient beings will not waver in their good thoughts and bodhicitta on the path of practice.
If you want to make sentient beings firm in their beliefs and remain unwavering, of course you must lead by example... Otherwise, how can you protect sentient beings?
Ever since the battle between Tongtianhe and the Five Heavenly Demon Ancestors, the fact that the Tripitaka Buddha and the Demon are one body has not been a secret in Lingshan.
Perhaps other Bodhisattvas would pretend not to know the current situation of Tripitaka and turn a blind eye due to various scruples, but Fudo Ming King... is worthy of his name, and this time he will kill demons in the Mahavira Hall.
"Please take this sword."
"good."
Fahai did not refuse. He even put away the nine-ringed tin staff and clasped his hands in front of his chest, showing no intention of resisting.
Upon seeing this, Fudo Ming King lightly swung his sword and slashed it down. A golden Buddha's light shot out from the magic sword in his hand and smashed into the Tripitaka Spirit Platform.
呲——
As soon as the Buddha's light entered the spiritual platform, it dissipated without causing any ripples.
Everyone present seemed not surprised by this, and King Fudo himself did not show any strange expression because his sword had no effect.
As for the compassionate look on Fudo Myoto's face at this moment, he is not as angry as in the past... That is also because Tripitaka is a Buddhist monk, not a demon heretic. Since he is not subduing demons and slaying demons... what is there to be angry about?
Moreover, Master Tripitaka's conduct was also admired by Fudo Myoto.
And the reason why he wanted to use his sword to cut off the demonic nature in Sanzang's body... From his own point of view, it was to help Sanzang get rid of his inner demons.
The first sword is just a test.
He immediately started to use his magic power again. His left hand, which was originally holding a bundle of silk ropes, even formed a seal, and silently recited the secret words in his heart. Under the blessing of the three, the sword light was vertical and horizontal, and the Buddha's light flourished for a while -
Not to mention the Arhats and Bodhisattvas present, even some Buddhists with a relatively shallow foundation may not be able to be so powerful... Seeing this at this moment, I even felt a little panicked in my heart. If this sword struck me, would I be able to do it?
Can you bear it?
Of course, they would not be like Master Tripitaka, who just stood there, neither hiding nor blocking, and allowed King Fudo to chop him down with the Buddha's sword.
In fact, each of the top ten Bodhisattvas in Buddhism has his or her own uniqueness. Even becoming a Buddha depends on their thoughts. The only difference lies in thinking or not thinking.
When the Great Sun Tathagata on the side saw this, he directly said: "Fudo Myoto's Buddhist sword can kill evil spirits, but how can it kill the true Buddha? Even though Tripitaka has not achieved enlightenment...but his Buddha nature is profound,
Even above Fudo Myooh."
The words of the Great Sun Tathagata were not deliberately hidden.
Perhaps the distant attention was focused on Tripitaka and Fudo Myoyo, but the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas around him heard it clearly.
In particular, Peacock Daming King also echoed: "If you only use Buddhist teachings to activate the Buddha's sword, I am afraid that the Buddha's light will not only be unable to cut off the demonic nature of Tripitaka, but may also become Tripitaka's nourishment."
The Glazed Medicine Buddha, who was sitting on the side of the Buddha and had never spoken much, also said at this moment: "Perhaps...this is the intention of Fudo Myooh?"
"What does the Buddha mean by these words?"
Some people who couldn't see the situation clearly asked immediately.
The Glazed Medicine Buddha looked serious and calm: "The demonic nature of Tripitaka is terrifying and rare in the three realms... The reason why he can always suppress this power is that, in addition to his firm mind, perhaps his Buddha nature is beyond the demonic nature.
Only when one side and two sides compete... can human nature be revealed."
The monks were deeply convinced after hearing this.
Isn’t that the truth?
Tripitaka is one body with three natures, among which the Buddha nature and the demonic nature are natural enemies. They compete and suppress each other, allowing their human nature to gain the upper hand.
So...
"If Fudo Mingwang wants to turn his own Buddha nature into nourishment and offer it all to Master Tripitaka, so that his Buddha nature far exceeds his own demonic nature..." Sunlight Bodhisattva next to Medicine Buddha thought thoughtfully, "Maybe it can be done
Comprehensively suppress the demonic nature, allowing the Tripitaka Buddha nature to completely dominate. In this way... we will have another true Buddha in our Buddhist sect!"
"If it's so simple... why wait until now?" The ancient Buddha who spoke at this moment, after finishing this sentence, looked at the Guanyin Bodhisattva on the side.
"Amitabha."
Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva clasped his hands together and said: "As the ancient Buddha said, the problem that exists in Tripitaka is not a question of which of the three natures is stronger or weaker... The key lies in Tripitaka's own will. All three realms are aware of it and cannot move.
King Ming's concentration is so strong that few gods and Buddhas can match it... But I would also like to ask you to think carefully about the aspirations of Tripitaka who can bear the sin of killing living beings and karma."
This chapter is not finished yet, please click on the next page to continue reading the exciting content! "With the heart of a mortal, the Dharma is in the heart of the Buddha and the devil." Guanyin Bodhisattva looked around and said: "I wonder how far you can achieve it?"
The monks immediately fell silent.
Not to mention the ordinary Buddhas and Bodhisattvas below, even if they are powerful, it is not easy to perfectly control the two powers of Buddhas and demons. The so-called Buddhas and Demons with one thought are also their characteristics, but most of the Buddhas
It is easy to fall into a demonic state with one thought, but it is too difficult to return to Buddha nature.
Like Sanzang, he could switch between the two with ease... Even the Demon Ancestor Wutian who was on the bank of the Tongtian River that day was very surprised when he saw it.
Just as Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva expected, Tripitaka did not reject the Buddha-nature that King Fudo Ming offered him on his own initiative and devoured them all.
The sea can accommodate hundreds of rivers.
Since he has the ambition to integrate the sins of the three realms into one body, why should he hinder his courage?
It seems that the blessing of Fudo Myoyo's Buddha nature is not enough to shake Fahai's demonic nature. On the contrary, Fudo Myoyo, who originally showed such a compassionate look, gradually became angry at this moment.
Fahai could see it clearly.
The steadfast King Ming seemed to be wavering a little at this moment. The most intuitive manifestation was that when anger appeared on his face, he saw the silk rope on his left hand tightening.
This is the second magic weapon of King Fudo besides the Buddha Sword. If you don't know it, you will think of it as a magic weapon such as a demon-binding rope or a fairy-binding rope. Of course...silk ropes do have it too.
Such an effect, but its most important function is to restrain the "obsessed demons" in one's heart.
It is a magic weapon to restrain one's inner demons.
The reason why Fudo Myoyo has the title of Great Concentration Fudo Bodhisattva is not only due to his own tenacity of mind, but also has something to do with the blessing of this Buddhist treasure on his mind. But at the moment, Fudo Myoyo’s own Buddha nature has nothing to do with it.
Under unlimited consumption, the demonic nature sealed in his body naturally gradually recovered.
"not good!"
Upon seeing this, Vajrapani Bodhisattva immediately screamed: "King Ming, stop now, if you continue like this... your Buddha nature will be sucked dry by Tripitaka, and if your demonic nature cannot be suppressed, you will become a demon!"
Vajrapani’s concerns are not without reason.
But at this moment, King Ming had no choice but to make the decision himself. I don't know when...his consciousness obeyed the Buddha nature exhibited by the Buddhist sword and escaped into the Lingtai Divine Palace in Fahai.
The Tripitaka Sutra turns into a magnificent and extensive palace.
His Buddha-nature was all poured into it...and turned into a volume of scriptures, which was incorporated into it - "The Sutra of Mind Guarding by Fudo Myoyo". In addition, there is another volume with the words "
Fudo Myoyo's Mantra" and "Fudo Myoyo's Fourteen Fundamental Seals".
All of my own Buddhist teachings have turned into the foundation of Tripitaka?
boom--!
Fudo Myooh’s spiritual consciousness pushed open the door of the palace, and after entering, he was shocked to see the horror——
If the outer part of the sea of consciousness constructed by Tripitaka is the image of Buddhism, then its inner part... really lives up to what he said before, "My body is a hell."
There are bursts of thunder, karma fires set fire to the prairie fire, strong winds rage, and silver snakes dance wildly.
Even the endless ghosts and monsters in the underworld are far better than this place.
In this hell, there are no evil ghosts and wronged souls, but there is only a strong monk with a naked upper body and a flying dragon tattoo on his back, who is constantly suffering the pain of thunder bombardment and Buddha flames burning his heart.
boom!
A thunderous sound shook the sky.
It seemed that he was about to destroy Fudo Myoō's consciousness, but the monk standing in the center suddenly opened his eyes, and a ray of Buddha's light suddenly appeared, wrapping up Fudo Myoō's consciousness and sending it directly out.
In the outside world, the monks could only see the resurgence of Fudo Myoyo's demonic nature. His original Dharmakaya could hardly be maintained, and it seemed that he might become a demon at any time... Just as Vajrapani Bodhisattva wanted to take action forcefully, he knocked out the Buddha's sword in King Fudo's hand.
When it falls, shua——
Without any warning, the Buddhist sword in King Fudo's hand lost its light in an instant, making a clanging noise——
Fudo Myoyo couldn't even hold the Buddhist sword, and dropped the Buddha sword to the ground. Fudo Myoyo himself suddenly stumbled backwards. If not for Vajrapani Bodhisattva, who was beside him, he took action in time.
I tried to hold him up, but he was afraid that he would lose his balance and fall to the ground.
"King Ming?"
Vajrapani Bodhisattva saw that King Fudo's face was pale, his eyes were closed tightly, his body was trembling slightly, and there was a thin layer of sweat on his forehead, so he kept expressing concern.
However, before Fudo Myoyo could react, he saw a pure Buddha light coming from Master Tripitaka and passing directly into Fudo Myoyo's body.
This Buddha's light was gentle and gentle, directly suppressing the restless demonic nature in Fudo Myōō's body. After the Buddha's light was gradually absorbed by Fudo Myōō,
However, he saw Fudo Mingwang clasping his hands together, performing a Buddha salute in the direction of Master Tripitaka, and then said, "Thank you Master for your mercy. It's just a poor monk who overestimates his ability."
To cut off the root of Sanzang’s troubles?
What on earth had I gone crazy about to have this idea?
Let alone anything else, it is difficult to say that a sea of consciousness like Sanzang's, whether it is a magic sword or a Buddhist sword, can have any effective effect... Moreover, with his "modest" magic power, it is just a sheep when it enters.
Enter the tiger's mouth.
Previously, King Fudo was still a little surprised that Sanzo was so defenseless in such a powerful place in the sea of consciousness, allowing his own consciousness to escape into it.
But when I entered it just now, I realized that if someone can enter, he may not be able to come out again. It all depends on whether Tripitaka is compassionate.
After King Fudo paid homage, he picked up the Buddhist sword that had fallen on the ground. With the support of Vajrapani Bodhisattva, he returned to his cattail leaf fan and meditated.
He needed some time to calm down his mind. After all, the consciousness of an eminent monk recognized by the three worlds was actually a boundless purgatory... This undoubtedly gave him a great shock.
Even with his concentration, it would take some effort to accept it. As for what he saw in the sea of consciousness, he would not say a word to the outside world.
After the monks had digested the matter for a while, the Buddha saw that no Bodhisattva wanted to come out to ask for advice, so he asked: "Among the Buddhas in Lingshan, are there any who study the Dharma with Tripitaka?"
The concentration power of the Buddhas in Lingshan is obviously "superior". They all look at their noses with their eyes, their mouths with their noses, and their hearts with their mouths, but no one looks at the Buddha and responds.
I was afraid that by accident, I would make eye contact with the Buddha and be called out. But no one responded. Although there was a risk of being called out by the Buddha immediately, the chance was much smaller after all.
Of course.
There was no pressure at all for the Great Sun Tathagata at this time. After all, he had been on the scene a long time ago and had brought Sanzang into the Tantric Sect... Although he was just a guest, it was already a rare gain.
As the leader of the Esoteric Cult, the Great Sun Tathagata has a greater ambition in his heart, which is to make the Esoteric Cult superior to Hinayana and Mahayana!
Although this task is long and arduous, if you dare not even think about it, then there will be no future.
Where does the motivation come from?
Of course, you must first set a goal to strive for.
There are many monks present who have similar ambitions.
Not to mention the Great Sun Tathagata, Fa Hai himself also wants to establish a sect and establish the lineage of the Consciousness Only Sect, which will never be discontinued.
Secondly, there is Master Guanyin. After she discussed Buddhism with the Buddha at Lingshan Mountain, the Buddha once had the idea of truly unifying Buddhism...but this matter is not as easy as what he said. In addition, the Buddha
I just wanted to go through reincarnation and escape the tribulation... so I put it aside for the time being.
However, the Bodhisattva himself believed that he was the leader of the four sects of Zen Pure Tantra, and since the Buddhas in Lingshan were decayed and lacked resources, he might not be able to establish another Buddhist sect in Nanhai.
