Chapter 549: Taiqing Sage: Yes, it’s all my plan; well, you can still make more efforts

Empress Nuwa's willingness to recognize Wukong as a "child" still made the saints look a little sideways...but they didn't think it was a bad thing.

There is also a connection between Wukong and Nuwa Empress, so the saints will not find it abrupt when Nuwa Empress makes such a decision. Moreover, this is something that Nuwa Empress can do.

Only Archmage Xuandu looked at the two people who had "a loving mother and a filial son", and felt a little strange in his heart, and secretly said: Madam, I hope you can have a more complete childhood soon.

As a mother, there is more than just a loving side. Sometimes when she is strict, it is even more difficult to withstand than a father's love.

Empress Nuwa obviously didn't realize what she was going to face soon.

Now that the matter is over, there is no need for Master Xuandu to say anything more. What kind of situation Wukong and himself will face soon will be revealed soon.

It was also at this point that the saints heard a key point from the words of the Great Sage - "Consciousness-only Dharma".

Dharma and sect are not the same concepts.

But it was Nuwa Empress who was talking to Wukong, and they could not find a chance to interrupt for a while. Now that Wukong had retreated from Nuwa Empress, Zhunti Buddha was the first to lose control and asked the Great Sage: "

You said that the Consciousness-Only Dharma Teaching...is the name of your sect?"

"Exactly."

After the Great Sage nodded in agreement, he subconsciously glanced at Master Xuandu, as if asking... Why, you haven't told them about this yet?

Grand Master Xuandu also indicated with his eyes that he had not reached this point yet... As for whether the Great Sage could understand it, that was not within the scope of Grand Master Xuandu's consideration.

When the saints saw the great sage's recognition, they didn't ask any more questions.

Now it can be confirmed that when Tang Sanzang returned to Chang'an, he did not establish the Consciousness-Only Sect under the Mahayana teachings at all, but founded the "Consciousness-Only Sect" that stands side by side with Mahayana, Hinayana and Esoteric Buddhism.

The eyes of all the saints were inevitably fixed on Master Xuandu, as if they were saying: You have been hiding such an important matter until now... What are your intentions?

Archmage Xuandu responded with his gaze——

Are those things before that anything trivial?

There has to be a step-by-step process, right?

Even if I say this right from the beginning, don’t you have to ask why?

It's better to talk about them one by one, in order... And speaking of those things mentioned before, which one is not important?

The separation of Buddhism was actually something that the four Eastern saints, Sanqing and Nuwa, were happy to hear.

After all, Buddhism was born out of Western Buddhism, and the fortunes of both sides are linked. However, the one that is most deeply involved in cause and effect with Western Buddhism is actually Hinayana Buddhism... But now, Hinayana Buddhism has become a thing of the past, and has been divided by Mahayana and Esoteric Buddhism. Now,

There is another consciousness-only teaching...

This is not good news for Saint Zhunti.

From the words of Master Xuandu, we can know that Master Tripitaka is now almost the spokesperson of Buddhism after the Three Realms. His status in the Three Realms has not only surpassed that of Buddha and Bodhisattva, but is probably not much different.

Among the people of the Tang Dynasty and the countries he passed through on his westward journey, even the Buddha and Bodhisattvas may not be as famous as him.

Moreover, his consciousness-only teaching was still established in Chang'an City of the Tang Dynasty in Nanfangbuzhou. Even if Buddhism flourishes by then, the prosperous ones will be Eastern Buddhism, which has nothing to do with their Western Buddhism!

If things go on like this, it will probably be a more serious disaster for Western Buddhism than Mahayana's outlawing Hinayana.

Duobao!

How dare Shu Zi'an do this!

As soon as he thought of this section, Saint Zhunti immediately looked in the direction of Saint Taiqing, his heart full of horror: Could it be that you have thought of this section a long time ago?!

Saint Taiqing had an indifferent expression and smiled at Saint Zhunti who looked towards him, as if to say: You are right, these are my arrangements.

But only he himself knows that these are all beyond his calculations.

But this does not prevent him from causing trouble to Saint Zhunti at this time.

In fact, not only Saint Zhunti, but also several other saints also looked in the direction of Saint Taiqing at the same time.

It’s no wonder that everyone doubted him. After all, it was he who single-handedly took charge of Lingshan when “Laozi turned into a Hu” and established Duobao as the Buddha of Mahayana Buddhism. Moreover, he was the only saint in the Three Realms at that time. What should he do?

Arranging the hands and feet is the simplest thing, and there are no constraints.

Sage Taiqing obviously knew this very well. Even if he said it was not his own handiwork, would the other saints believe it?

It's better to just acquiesce and save yourself a lot of time.

At the same time, it is still a small shock to the saints to let them know that he, the senior brother of Zixiao Palace, is not in vain.

Don't tell me, Saint Taiqing just made a slight gesture, and even Yuanshi Tianzun got in... The look in his eyes when he looked at his elder brother clearly expressed: Brother, you have hidden these things so deeply, even

I've never been told?

Master Xuandu did not expect such a situation... He knew some of the inside story, but at this time he was also a little unsure whether it really had nothing to do with his master.

So here comes the question, why did you call Wukong all the way here?

Just when Master Xuandu was in a dilemma, Empress Nuwa, who paid the least attention to the ingredients of the "Consciousness-Only Dharma", spoke up. She said to Wukong: "Xuandu said that day at Lingshan, you faced the Bodhisattva to take the Dharma test.

At that time, it was a blockbuster that made the entire Lingshan monks unforgettable..."

Compared to the "Consciousness Only Dharma" thing, Empress Nuwa is still more interested in this... After all, judging from his appearance alone, Wukong really does not have the temperament of a monk with profound Buddhist teachings.

In the original Journey to the West, the Great Sage was positioned as the God of War who protects the Dharma. After successfully learning the sutras, Tripitaka is the Buddha of Sandalwood Merit and Virtue, and the Great Sage is the Buddha of Victory in Fighting.

Many things are actually reflected in the Buddha's name.

The Great Sage is not interested in the calculations between the saints, but if possible... he actually does not want to use the "Great Sage Thunder Sound" in front of the saints.

But this magical power is not under his control to a certain extent, because as long as he opens his mouth to chant sutras, it will be triggered.

When the saints saw Nuwa Empress mentioning this matter, they remembered that they still had "business" to do, so they temporarily put aside the matter of "Consciousness Only Dharma" and focused their attention on the Great Sage, wanting to take a look.

What kind of enlightenment will this monkey have on the path of Buddhism that will convince the monks in Lingshan Mountain?

The Great Sage thought for a while and already made a decision in his heart. Since he was still facing the saints, he simply didn't want to say anything. He was even prepared to actively activate the "Great Sage Thunder Sound", which would be his response to the saints.

The respect given by the Holy Spirit.

The moment the Great Sage's eyes became determined, Master Xuandu suddenly felt a tremor in his heart -

This is not right!

When he was chanting sutras in Xuandu City before, he didn't look like this!

Obviously, Master Xuandu did not expect what kind of determination the Great Sage had made in his heart at this moment.

Because the power of the Great Sage's Thunder Sound is too terrifying, the Great Sage actually holds back his strength when he uses it... Firstly, he is afraid of accidental injury, and secondly, it is difficult for him to bear it.

But at this moment when all the saints were in front of each other, the Great Sage wanted to challenge his own limits, and he was already ready to wake up.

Master Xuandu was just about to get up and find an excuse to avoid it, but he heard the great sage had already spoken: "Namo Tripitaka is a holy Buddha, and his disciples are not talented. I will briefly discuss the "Interpretation of the Deep Tantric Sutra" and ask the saints for advice."

"The Interpretation of the Deep Secret Sutra" is one of the scriptures translated by Tripitaka. It is also one of the six sutras and eleven treatises that constitute the consciousness-only teaching, and is also one of the thirteen sutras of Buddhism. Only this Buddhist sutra,

It is not among the thirty-five scriptures taken from Lingshan.

This Buddhist scripture belongs to both Mahayana and Esoteric Buddhism, and is relatively profound. Only after you have a certain understanding of Buddhism, or even made some achievements, can you gain insights and achieve results by studying it.

Otherwise, it will be difficult to understand the true meaning, and you will go astray if you are not careful.

With Master Tripitaka's level of cultivation, it is easy to understand this sutra thoroughly, but for the great sage, it is actually still somewhat difficult.

But after all, this Buddhist sutra is the foundation of the "Consciousness-Only Dharma". Even if there are some difficulties, the great sage will naturally find a way to overcome them and then comprehend them with his heart.

The great sage's understanding must be at the top of the three realms, and there are also teachings from holy Buddhas like Master Tripitaka. It actually didn't take much time to comprehend the true meaning, and he had a preliminary understanding of this scripture.

After mastering it, the master stopped interfering too much and allowed him to practice and realize on his own.

It is said that the master guides the individual to practice. Everyone will have a different understanding of the Buddhist scriptures. Fahai will not stubbornly believe that only his own understanding of the Buddhist scriptures is the most correct. On the contrary, he now respects the diversity of the Buddhist scriptures and lets a hundred flowers bloom.

, is the manifestation of the progress of Buddhism.

If it is all the same thing, then it may not be a good thing for Buddhism.

When a thing loses its vitality, it proves that it is not far from death.

The saints actually have little understanding of this Buddhist scripture.

Including the two sages of the West, after all, Mahayana Buddhism is a Buddhist sect that only appeared after they left Lingshan... The scriptures of Mahayana Buddhism are also unfamiliar to them.

"So I heard. For a moment, Bhagavan abides in the most magnificent seven-jeweled radiance, which magnifies the light and illuminates all the boundless world. There are countless wonderful decorations in countless directions, and the circumference is endless. Their quantity is unfathomable. It exceeds the three realms and surpasses the good roots of the world.

Starting from the beginning, the most pure and free consciousness is the form..."

The Great Sage saw that all the saints were ready and that they were all listening with their own ears, so he opened his mouth and spoke——

oops--!

All the saints screamed in surprise.

The slightly weaker Saint Zhunti and Empress Nuwa even had an obvious setback in their figures the moment the Great Saint spoke;

Followed by Yuanshi Tianzun and Jieyin Saint, they frowned and looked at the Great Sage, which was obviously not normal anymore;

As for Taiqing Laozi, who has the deepest cultivation level, he suppressed the smile he showed before and returned to his previous "ruthless" demeanor.

As for Archmage Xuandu, he was sweating profusely and clenched his fists.

He already had an omen in his mind, but he didn't expect that the monkey showed no signs of mercy and went straight to full fire when facing the saints.

Regarding the "Great Sage Thunder Sound", Master Xuandu knows some of its secrets. He also knows that for the Great Sage himself, every time he uses the Great Sage Thunder Sound, it is an equally unbearable torture.

.

Hu——, Hu——

The Thunder Sound of the Great Sage is not a final magical power.

If you think you can resist the first sound when the Great Sage speaks, then you think you can endure it forever, then you have made a wrong calculation... The pain is as sharp as a tight lock on the head, and it is like a thousand sticks.

The needle moves up and down the throat along with my breathing...

It seems that the pain of being cut into pieces by thousands of knives and being pierced by thousands of arrows is considered gentle compared to the torture of hearing the sound of thunder.

How long has it been since the saints have felt such pain?

If they had not put their own face first and were not willing to be the first to show their timidity in front of the saints... they would have slapped the monkey chanting sutra over at this moment, or directly knocked his

The mouth is blocked.

At this time, they also clearly understood why the Monkey King convinced the monks in Lingshan Mountain as soon as he opened his mouth.

Even saints like them want to avoid the "life-threatening Sanskrit sound". How can those immortals and Buddhas in the three realms not be afraid of it?

Apart from anything else, you can understand the power of this "Great Sage's Thunder Sound" when you see that Xuandu is sitting cross-legged with his eyes closed, guarding his mind, for fear of losing control accidentally.

Empress Nuwa and Saint Zhunti are under great pressure at the moment.

Because the two of them don't know how long they can persist in this Sanskrit sound... If they are not as good as Master Xuandu, then their saint's face will be lost.

Saint Taiqing's expression became more and more kind, but the look he looked at Master Xuandu was somewhat meaningful.

Even Master Xuandu, with his eyes closed, felt that his energy was locked by his master at this moment. Although he was inevitably panicked, he could not tolerate the "Great Sage's Thunder Sound" filling his ears at this moment.

He thinks too much about the "future affairs"...

At this time, all the saints also realized from the performance of Master Xuandu that this kid did it on purpose!

Not only did he know the truth about Wukong Lingshan's sutra debate, he had even seen the power of the "Great Sage Thunder Sound" before, and now he just wanted them, the saints, to experience this feeling for themselves.

His heart is worthy of death, and his crime deserves death!

Even mentioning the hard work endured by the saint, Empress Nuwa couldn't bear it any less. When she went to see Xuandu and Wukong this time, she didn't feel the same affection as before... She wanted to break Xuandu's legs and sew Wukong on them.

Q.

These two brats... I'm hurting you for nothing.

As time went by, the Great Sage had finished speaking about the contents of "Prologue No. 1". Taking advantage of this opportunity to switch breaths, the Great Sage himself calmed down a little...

He also secretly glanced at the expressions of the saints, and then looked at the Xuandu Archmage beside him who was trying to endure, but seemed to have reached the limit and might be discouraged at any time. He sighed in his heart: "As expected of a saint, he is still able to handle this thunder sound with ease.

...Well, we can use more intensity."
