Chapter 7 Strange

Chapter 7 Weird

The room became much quieter, except for the intermittent sound of the printer working.

"Is your mobile phone number still the original number?" Shen Shiyu asked.

"Yes." Chu Wuzheng answered quickly.

Are you annoyed with her?

Before she had time to think about it, Chu Wuzheng offered another blessing. "Are you okay?"

"No."

"If not, please leave. Don't disturb my work. Thank you."

In the past, she had seen him be happy, troubled, and irritable. She had been in love with him and been annoyed by him, but it had never made her feel alienated and freezing like this.

Shen Shiyu lowered her head in grievance. Just as her hand was about to touch the door, he suddenly stopped her.

"What is your relationship with Sang Shengli?"

He had endured it for how many days and finally couldn't bear it anymore.

At least ask again, if she says no... what if it's not? He doesn't want to misunderstand her like this.

Shen Shiyu was a little surprised by what he said. Her information was obviously in the police station. What could they not find out?

"Didn't you find out?"

Ah……

At this moment, Chu Wuzheng felt that all the anger was blocked in his body, and his lungs were about to explode.

He suppressed his outburst and uttered one word: "Get out."

"What did you say?" Shen Shiyu looked at him inexplicably.

Chu Wuzheng finally couldn't bear it any longer and stared at her fiercely, followed by a roar.

"Get out! Get out!"

Shen Shiyu couldn't see the reason for his anger and could only think that he was being unreasonable. She was so angry that she turned around without hesitation and slammed the door with a flick of her hand.

It seems that his bad temper has not changed at all over the years.

After coming out of the psychological clinic, Chu Wuzheng and Xiang Hang went to the Magic Night Bar in the city to find Sang Shengli's niece Sang Jie - she worked there.

The bar has not officially opened yet, and there are only a few cleaners cleaning the place.

After providing the certificate, Sang Jie was quickly called out.

"Did you know that Luo Hong was having an affair?"

Sang Jie acted very calmly. "I know, I've known it for a long time."

"Knowed it a long time ago?" Chu Wuzheng raised an eyebrow. "You knew it before your uncle?"

"Of course, I introduced this man to her," Sang Jie said. "If you want to see him, you can wait here until night, he will stay here."

Chu Wuzheng and Xiang Hang looked at each other, placed their hands on the glass beside them, looked at Sang Jie from above and smiled. "You are really your uncle's good niece."

"Why didn't you talk about this last time?" Xiang Hang asked.

"It's because your investigation was incomplete and you didn't ask me." Sang Jie shrugged.

"Do you know that your uncle caught your aunt cheating on her?"

Sang Jie nodded.

Chu Wuzheng chuckled lightly and muttered to Xiang Hang in a low voice, "It's strange, such a little girl really knows all the movies."

Sang Jie couldn't hear his words clearly and looked at him with a slight frown.

"Hey, don't say bad things about me."

"Who said anything bad about you? I'm praising you." Chu Wuzheng glanced at her and sat down.

Xiang Hang then asked, "Do Luo Hong still have contact with that man?"

"Yes, we were in contact some time ago." Sang Jie slowly looked away from Chu Wuzheng. "My aunt said she was here to give me money, but I also know she is here to see someone else."

"What did they say?"

"How do I know what you mean? I'm not a fortune teller."

Xiang Hang asked again, "Did your aunt tell you about what your uncle bumped into?"

Sang Jie shook her head in denial. "Why would she tell me such an embarrassing thing?"

"Is that what your uncle told you?"

"My uncle feels even more embarrassed about this." Sang Jie chuckled.

"Who is that?" Xiang Hang asked directly, not wanting to make any more detours with her.

Sang Jie put away her smile. "My uncle's mistress."

Xiang Hang glanced at Chu Wuzheng and stayed silent with him for a few seconds.

"Have you met her?"

"I've met him several times. He looks pretty good and has a good figure." Sang Jie said casually. "Didn't you check it out?"

After almost finishing asking the questions, Chu Wuzheng asked Xiang Hang to go back to the police station to find out all the recent financial records of Sang Shengli and Luo Hong, while he stayed to wait for the man Sang Jie mentioned.

Time soon arrived at night, before the bar officially opened, Sang Jie brought people to Chu Wuzheng.

Chu Wuzheng sat at the bar, crossed his legs, and looked at the fair and handsome face of the man in front of him, but his height was only as high as Chu Wuzheng's shoulders. "What's your name?"

"Tan Tao."

"How big?" he asked again.

"25."

A rough calculation shows that he is seven or eight years younger than Luo Hong.

"When did you and Luo Hong start?"

Tan Tao recalled it. "Yes, it's been a year."

"Did you know she was married?"

Tan Tao nodded.

"Are you with her for money?" Chu Wuzheng looked at his washed-out denim T-shirt and the damaged sneakers on his feet.

"Not exactly." Tan Tao felt Chu Wuzheng's gaze and felt a little guilty. "...I feel sorry for her very much."

While listening, Chu Wuzheng tilted his head.

Just as Tan Tao was about to continue his narrative, Chu Wuzheng raised his hand and interrupted. "Wait a minute."

He stepped down from the chair, took a few steps with his long legs and reached the corner of the wall. He reached out and grabbed the person who was still trying to hide behind him.

As soon as he pressed his big hand hard, half of Sang Jie's shoulder went numb.

"It hurts, let go."

Chu Wuzheng pushed her to the wall and stared at her. "What are you listening to?"

"...Are you a policeman or a gangster?" Sang Jie rubbed her shoulders with a look of dissatisfaction.

"Whatever you think." Chu Wuzheng raised his chin unnecessarily. "Just go and play."

Sang Jie left reluctantly.

Soon, Chu Wuzheng sat back on the chair and raised his legs. "Tell me briefly, how to feel distressed."

According to Tan Tao's understanding, the marriage between Luo Hong and Sang Shengli was not happy, and the reason for the unhappiness was that Sang Shengli was unable to manage affairs.

From the first day of their marriage, Luo Hong had never enjoyed the pleasure of having a boudoir with her husband - this is what Luo Hong once said to Tan Tao in tears after drinking too much.

She said that she had been persisting for nearly ten years, but now, her impulse had faded for too long, and she really couldn't persist anymore.

"Wait a minute." Chu Wuzheng was surprised. "Didn't his sexual dysfunction only start half a year ago?"

"No," Tan Tao said. "Sister Luo Hong said that this is the root cause of his illness since childhood and cannot be cured, otherwise Xiaojie would not introduce me to Sister Luo Hong."

Before Chu Wuzheng left the bar, he received a call from Xiang Hang, saying that he had inquired about someone from Sang Shengli's company. It turned out that it was Luo Hong who took the initiative to propose a divorce to Sang Shengli, and Sang Shengli once knelt down in front of everyone in order to redeem himself.

Putting down the phone, Chu Wuzheng turned around from the window. Before he could put the phone away, he felt a flash in front of his eyes.

The lights in the corridor of the bar were dim, so the sudden flash of light was particularly obvious. Chu Wuzheng raised his eyes and immediately saw Sang Jie standing at the door holding a mobile phone.

Chu Wuzheng didn't say anything, and pressed forward step by step. Sang Jie avoided his eyes, turned around and wanted to escape, but was grabbed by the collar behind her neck.

"Give me the phone."

Before Sang Jie could react, Chu Wuzheng had already grabbed her phone in his hand.

"Give it back to me!" Sang Jie reached out to grab it, but Chu Wuzheng was a head taller than him. As long as he raised his hand slightly, she could not reach it even if she stood on tiptoe.
