Chapter 22 Hunting Farce

"Praise my Lord, our Lord is almighty. Children, under the guidance of the Lord, you will get rich harvests from this action."

The hovercars with crosses hanging on them set off one after another. Dongchen stood at the door of the car with his sword in hand, watching from a distance.

The mercenaries I met in the bar yesterday came over.

"Is it interesting?"

"It's very interesting." As the last cross suspension vehicle left, Dongchen turned his head: "What are you going to do?"

"Follow me." The leading mercenary raised his hand as a greeting: "My name is Sieg. I'll see you later."

"What should we do?" Christina leaned against the car door, a gust of wind blew by, and her long blond hair fluttered in the wind.

Dongchen walked back to the car: "Let's go to the theater."

"Boss, they are following us." the radar soldier reported.

Sieg raised his eyebrows: "They are quite smart. Haha, don't worry about them. Just follow them if you like. It just allows them to see the most real side of Holy Cross Town."

Boring journeys are always the main theme of the real world.

After eight hundred years of ups and downs, the bugs that once fought against humans have become an indispensable part of the food chain. The war of civilizational crisis and the application of large-scale strategic weapons have destroyed the balance of nature. Large areas of the world have been desertified, and various natural disasters have occurred.

It happened. Only creatures like bugs can survive in the barren wasteland. No one knows what they eat. In other words, they eat everything.

Humans need bugs, their meat, and even more the crystals they produce.

A very ironic reality.

There are a lot of bugs, nest after nest, and they are endless. But it does not mean that they are easy to find. To describe them as elusive is not an exaggeration. In fact, when faced with a group of underground creatures, people want to find them.

It is indeed troublesome. But fortunately, after several generations of hard work, people have finally summed up some good methods.

For example, following a pack of sand wolves.

If there are sand wolves, there will be insects.

The size of the sand wolf group directly determines the size of the insect swarm. The nearly a thousand sand wolf groups found in front of us are a good choice.

Sand wolves are very smart. When faced with a group of steel monsters, they stay away from them, waiting to turn around and take advantage. This has happened many times, and humans and them have formed a silent tacit understanding, a kind of shallow rule.

Artillery fire covered the sand dunes, and insects swarmed out of the honeycomb-shaped holes. They always do this, perhaps because of the hostility hidden deep in their genes. They will run away from the sand wolves. But once they find humans, they will risk their lives.

attack.

What appeared this time was a group of tiny mantises, which are a very unpopular species. Because of their attack power, the two serrated knives of the mantises are very sharp, coupled with the surprise ability of flying short distances, they are

It's very disgusting. But no matter what, since it's been provoked, naturally it can't be given up.

Vehicles with cross patterns lined up in a lonely line, and the vehicle-mounted cannons sprayed bullets. Pieces of energy brought out tracks, breaking the madness of the insect swarm. When the number of insects dropped to a certain level, the car door opened wide.

A group of humans wearing insect armor rushed out.

They shouted slogans, wore carapaces cut from insects, and charged forward with unified alpha alloy knives in their hands.

Dongchen discovered something very interesting.

"Praise my Lord, my Lord is almighty. Warriors, charge forward!" The commander shouted slogans, waved his sword, and stood in a majestic posture, motionless. From his side

Although the knights passing by also shouted slogans, their pace was not fast.

"Only fools rush forward. If you hit something, everyone will share it equally. Why should you risk it yourself?" This is the mentality of the knights. In the early years, there was a group of knights who were deceived and rushed forward, but they all died. Now the remaining

Those who play are all smart people, and no one is a fool.

"Only fools do things that are useless." Sieg crossed his arms and spat on the sand.

The farce is still going on, and the knights are chirping silently, no one wants to take the lead. The commander shouts slogans, but he actually understands it in his heart. It's just that he said it lazily. Anyway, the bugs can't bite him.

"Are they idiots?" Christina rolled her eyes speechlessly.

"No!" Dongchen snapped his fingers: "On the contrary, they are all smart people."

"Smart people?" Christina pointed at the knights: "You said those idiots are smart people? Don't they know that they should rush up and disrupt the insect's formation? If the mantis has enough distance, it will be fatal."

"Whose life is it?" Dong Chen smiled playfully: "It's better to die from fellow Taoists than to die from poor Taoists. They all think that they will be the lucky ones, so of course they are not willing to risk their lives."

"Is this still possible?" Christina was dumbfounded: "Don't they know how to unite? Even the lowest mercenaries understand this truth."

"Who said they are not united?" Dong Chen raised his finger: "Didn't I say in yesterday's message that everything hit will be distributed uniformly and the property will be shared by everyone? They are a group of truly selfless people."

The roundabout statements confused Christina's mind.

Just when she was stunned, the insects launched an attack. They suddenly flapped their wings, raised their serrated knives, and pounced one after another.

The leading knights fell down. Except for the unlucky few who died, most of the others were just pretending.

Christina saw with her own eyes a man who was holding a sword high, but before the bug could reach his eyes, he screamed and fell to the ground.

The melee began, and the knights pretending to be dead on the ground were scanning their surroundings vigilantly. If any bugs arrived, they would get up and fight as quickly as possible.

This is a complete farce. If the bugs hadn't targeted people and killed them, I believe these knights pretending to be dead would have disappeared long ago.

The mercenaries standing outside stood up one after another. Sieg put the wide Alpha alloy knife against his shoulder: "Brothers, let's go up and show those idiots what a real warrior is."

Sieg rushed very quickly. Although he was not the first, he was the leader.

His approach was in sharp contrast to the commander at the end of the Knights who just shouted slogans, stood still, and was ready to run away at any time.

The mercenary group rushed into the insect swarm, and the three groups cooperated with each other to kill each other. The knights who pretended to be dead began to work hard, and the ink was in vain. If the mercenary group hadn't deliberately left a hole, Dongchen would have even believed them.

I would run to the side to watch the show.

Seeing that the battle was about to end, Dongchen took out his sword and nodded to Christina: "Let's go and fight better."

The depressed anger needs to be vented. Although Dongchen didn't blame anyone for the last incident and kept comforting everyone, Christina has been blaming herself. Now that she has a chance to perform, she will never let it go.

A blue crystal element turned into powder, and the strangely colored wrist wheel exuded a dazzling light.

After the clicking sound, what appeared in front of everyone was a heroic female hero.

The shining armor is hung all over the body, and the two flying wings on the head are pointed at the sky. In the middle of the bulging mountain on the chest, a blue crystal shines brightly. The short skirt armor and high-tied combat boots set off a pair of beautiful legs.

Externally attractive.

Dongchen's lower abdomen felt hot, and he felt like Christina had become the goddess of war.

"Should we find a chance..."
