01 Crawl into the wolf den

The snow in Hulunbuir grassland always falls late and melts late. It is towards the end of spring that the snow begins to melt into the soil, and the grass grows green buds, but it is still chilly.

The grassland is vast and vast, the evening sun drops straight down from the horizon, darkness begins, and the warm and harmonious day ends, plunging into a long, dangerous night.

Wen Wan sat on the stone, picked up her cell phone and made anxious calls, but the signal was intermittent, and she made dozens of calls but never got through.

The cell phone rang twice, indicating that it would be turned off in fifteen seconds. Wen Wan fell to the ground in complete despair, and wanted to kill her with a piece of tofu. She thought she could get back to Uncle Zate's house in time by taking some photos of the sunset on the grassland.

Unexpectedly, I was so unlucky that I sprained my foot. Now my ankle is as swollen as a steamed bun, and every step I take feels like stepping on the tip of a knife. It’s okay to sprain my foot, but I didn’t bring a spare battery with me when I went out temporarily.

The phone ran out of battery and didn't even make a call for help.

It was getting dark soon, and she was afraid that she would have to spend the night in the wild.

Before going out, Uncle Zate gave many warnings, saying that the night on the grassland is the world of wolves, and he must go back before dark.

The last ray of colorful clouds disappeared in the grassland. Wen Wan, who was about to cry without tears, sat up and walked hard with heavy photography equipment on her back. In order to rush back to the herders' home as soon as possible, she gritted her teeth and used the newly purchased tripod as a crutch, and walked far away with one foot.

Jump to the pastoral area.

The grassland is not as rugged and difficult as the mountains and forests. The hills are not high but they are undulating. I didn't jump a few steps and rolled down the hill. I ate a mouthful of it. To make matters worse, my sprained and swollen feet hit the rocks.

, the pain was so bad that I almost fainted.

Darkness rolled towards the grassland. Wen Wan struggled to get up, crawling like a snail while holding a tripod...

"Ouch...ow..."

Before coming to the prairie, Wen Wan had only heard the howling of wolves on TV. She never thought that one day she would hear real wolves howling. But every night when she came to the prairie, she could hear the howling of wolves. It was so real.

The feeling was so frightening that I dreamed for several nights that I was eaten by a wolf.

Although she was worried about her life when she heard the howling of wolves in the herdsmen's area, she always felt safe with herdsmen, hunting dogs, Tibetan mastiffs and shotguns. But now, alone, she heard the howling of wolves in the wild.

Anxious, Wen Wan ignored her foot injury and hurried back quickly, but as the dark sky fell, she felt the howling of the wolf getting closer and closer.

Wolves have a unique sense of smell, and the scent of any prey cannot escape their noses.

Wen Wan looked at the stars hanging in the sky with fear. It was impossible to return to the nomads safely. She could only find a place to hide from the wolves until daylight.

The wolf is very sensitive to light, so Wen Wan turned the flashlight to the darkest level, saw a hill not far away, and hurriedly limped up the hill.

On the road to heaven, Wen Wan found a low earth cave, and there was a faint smell, like the smell of rotting animals, which made her almost vomit.

The earthen cave was the only place to hide people. The sound of wolves howling came from not far away. Wenwan, who was on the line between life and death, didn't care about anything else. She held her nose and crawled into the cave. The cave was a bit deep, and the smell became more and more intense.

Wen Wan's hand touched a hard object, and she looked at it with her muff...

Oh my god...it turned out to be the body of a wolf.

She, she, she... actually crawled into the wolf's den!!!
