Extra 1 'Hammer'

Dudel stood behind the curtain of the stage in an uneasy mood. He knew that once he walked out, there would be no going back. But for the sake of his career, he still gathered up the courage after taking a deep and hard breath.

, heading towards the most difficult scene of his career.

"Hello everyone!"

Dudel's face was filled with a false smile, and he waved to the camera, "This is Dudel, your loyal friends, welcome to tonight's movie talk show."

Come on, Dudel, hold on.

Dudel muttered to himself repeatedly, waved to the side of the stage, and the camera focused on it.

"Let us welcome tonight's guest, the emerging film director, Mr. Borogo Lazarus."

The spotlight was turned on, but no one came out from behind the curtain. At the same time, a faint quarrel sounded.

"It's time for you to get out!"

"I know, I know, don't push me."

"Are you camera phobic?"

"Huh? Lens phobia. Compared with this, I think you have a problem. Are you here to participate in the costume party?"

"Isn't it true that I'm acting in my true colors? Does it make the interview more sincere?"

The quarrel became clearer and clearer, and lumps bulged out from behind the curtain. Just when Dudel was completely despairing of his career, two figures emerged from it one after the other.

The man's clothes are extremely formal, with a tie and flowers on his chest. His body is as straight as a hanging sword, and his hair is carefully combed and meticulous.

He didn't look like he was here for an interview. His solemn appearance was more like he was attending a grand ceremony.

Seeing Dudel, the man smiled kindly, but it was obvious that he was not a person who was good at smiling. The smile reflected in Dudel's eyes was full of subtle distortions.

"Phew...calm down, Dudel, stay calm."

Dudel murmured in his heart. It was obviously not the first time he had dealt with Boluogo, but every time he saw this guy, he couldn't help but feel his heart tremble.

As for the guy standing next to Boluogo, he looked much weirder. His clothes were in tatters and stained with heavy blood. He wore an anti-bite mask used by mental patients on his face and held a regular knife in his hand.

Claw hammer dripping with plasma.

Dudel recalled the true identity of Director Bologna, and he sincerely hoped that it was really prop plasma and not freshly squeezed from some unlucky person.

After taking a closer look at this strangely dressed guy, Dudel couldn't help but move his eyes to the promotional sign on one side. The weirdo's outfit was exactly the same as the Hammer Murderer in the promotional poster for the movie "Hammer."

Acting in his true colors.

Taking another deep breath, Dudel showed an ugly smile and said, "Welcome again Director Burlogo and the star of this film, Mr. Palmer Clarks, to visit this program."

Boluogo greeted the camera, "Hello everyone."

Palmer... The Hammer Murderer sat down, swung his hammer at the camera, and shouted.

"Hammer and kill!"

This is the classic line from the Hammer Massacre movie, and it is also the only line.

Dudel lowered his head and glanced at the card, then asked Bologg, "Let's start the interview first... Director Bologg, what do you think of the sudden popularity of the movie "Hammer"."

"It's inexplicable," Boluogo spread his hands and said sincerely, "This is a holiday work after I was admitted to film school. I really didn't expect that it would arouse such a warm response."

"This shows that Director Boluogo is a genius in this industry!"

This admiration of Dudel is sincere. In this regard, Boluogo's resume is very clear. He was admitted to the film school in Oath City Opos six months ago, and then started to learn film-related knowledge.

It was his first summer vacation at school, and it was also during this vacation that he produced such a work.

At first, "Hammer" was only circulated among a few of Bolog's friends and his school teachers. I don't know who spread it. With enough exciting and heavy-flavored content, this movie has become a hit.

It spread like a virus and caused a trend.

"Genius? I'm not a genius. I just love this industry."

Boluogo thought for a moment and then added, "You do what you do and love what you do, right?"

"Well... next question, Director Boluogo is not a professional. At least for now, you haven't graduated yet. So what did you do before you entered the film industry?"

Dudel's heart was in suspense. He didn't know the specific content of Boluogo's work, but from the few encounters, Dudel clearly understood the madness and evil nature of Boluogo's work.

To call him a professional killer is a kind of derogation and contempt.

The damn program director just asked such a question, and Dudel only hoped that Boluogo could express it more implicitly.

"I?"

Boluogo was stunned for a moment, smiled sheepishly, and said calmly, "Security."

"security guard?"

Hearing this answer, Dudel blinked and took a long breath.

It seemed that his worries were unnecessary. Before coming to the interview, Boluogo had already prepared some corresponding remarks.

"It's really... surprising," Dudel habitually extended the topic, "The director who can make such a movie is actually a security guard."

"I think this job is pretty good."

Boluogo looked a little proud and said with a little meaning, "Security, security, keep the world safe."

Dudel then looked at Palmer, who was dressed as a Hammer Murderer, and asked, "So, for this leading actor, what was Palmer's previous job?"

Boluogo introduced, "He is also a security guard. He is my colleague and usually stands guard with me."

The Hammer Murderer nodded vigorously and shouted with great force.

"Hammer and kill!"

The loud voice was heard, and Dudel looked at the Hammer Murderer with a blank expression.

Burlogo seemed to sense Dudel's confusion. He translated, "He said 'yes'."

Dudel blinked again and looked at the director next to the camera for help, and the director gave him a thumbs up to express encouragement.

The director was very excited and he was considered a fan of Boluogo.

"Hammer" is a very special movie. Its plot is very simple. In fact, the plot is almost as simple as nothing. But considering that this is just Boluogo's summer homework, it is understandable.

The movie tells the story of a group of cultists who captured an unlucky man, took him to an abandoned building, and prepared to disembowel him and perform a blood sacrifice.

When he was about to die, the unlucky guy was so frightened that he had a mental breakdown. His desire for survival completely exploded. He picked up a rusty hammer and blew off the head of a cultist... and what happened next was a battle royale.

, the unlucky man transformed into a hammer murderer, relying on the adrenaline secreted to knock the heads of the cultists one by one in the abandoned building.

The plot of the whole movie is like this. It sounds extremely boring, just like some low-budget adventure films, but under this boredom, the whole movie seems extremely exquisite, so exquisite that it makes people crazy.

"Ahem, let me see what the next question is..."

Dudel looked at the cards in his hand and asked another question, "Everyone is curious, why is the plot of this movie so simple, or in other words, there is almost no plot at all?"

"A more formal answer would be that I want to make a pure movie."

Burlogo replied seriously, "There is no drowsy foreshadowing, no mentally retarded scenes, and no nauseating, self-reflective parts."

"Before I became a director, I was also an audience member. I knew very clearly what kind of plot I hated in the movie, and what exactly I wanted to see."

Bologo said, looked at the camera, and smiled, "Everyone came to watch this movie because of the violence, blood, and desire for destruction. Instead of procrastinating, it's better to go straight to the point."

After saying this, Boluogo said sheepishly, "A more truthful answer is... this is just a holiday assignment. I didn't think too much about it, and I'm not very good at writing plots, so I might as well abandon the plot altogether.

"

"Oh, that's how it is."

This answer was unexpected by Dudel. He then asked, "The real answer is that you can't write the plot? So can I understand that this is the reason why the lines in this movie are so simple?"

In the entire movie, apart from the obscure prayers of the cultists at the beginning, the only thing left is the cheers when the excited protagonist transforms into a murderer and swings a hammer to smash heads one after another.

Hammer to kill!

Hammer to kill, hammer to kill, hammer to kill, in the movie, the Hammer Murderer kept cheering like this. Until the end of the movie, he never said a complete sentence, as if there was a language barrier.

"That's almost it. Since there's no more plot, why not just omit the lines," Bologg said, glancing at the Hammer Murderer beside him. "He just doesn't have to memorize the lines, figure out the tone and so on."

Dudel sighed, "It's really... minimalist."

"Hey, it's just holiday homework after all."

Dudel set his sights on the Hammer Murderer and looked at the mottled and blood-stained mask on his face.

"Then you prepared this mask to avoid facial expressions?"

"Of course, Palmer didn't have any professional acting training, so he could only get by in this way," Bologo added, "But after the actual shooting, I found that the effect was pretty good, so I put on the mask.

It also adds a lot of inhumanity, which makes the movie’s thriller atmosphere much stronger.”

The Hammer Murderer cheered, "Hammer!"

Dudel was completely speechless by this perfunctory and minimalist approach. After a moment of silence, he turned over his cards.

"It is said that when you were filming "Hammer", all the action performances were purely real shots?"

In the movie, the Hammer Killer's movements are vigorous and swift, and he can do all kinds of moves that are impossible for ordinary people to do. He is smooth and silky. Fans commented that the protagonist's action performance will never be inferior to any action movie star, and this is indeed the case.

After all, the protagonist is Palmer, a defender who transcends ordinary people. No matter how powerful the action movie star is, he will be shattered to pieces if he falls from several floors. But if it were Palmer, he might have to worry about his vulnerability.

of the ground.

Boluogo replied, "That's right, real shots, no shooting techniques, just punches to the flesh."

"Oh? Is this some of your pursuits as a director? I know that some directors like this very much. They refuse those tricks and do not allow the use of stand-ins. They only require..."

Burlogo interrupted Dudel, "No, I just don't know how to do it, and it's much more convenient to take real photos."

Dudel was confused, "Can't do it? Convenient?"

"Hmm, some action scene shooting skills and stuff are my courses for next semester, and I haven't learned them yet," Boluogo continued, "and instead of doing those fancy things, let the actors do it directly,

It’s really much more convenient.”

The Hammer Murderer on the side agreed.

"Hammer and kill!"

Boluogo didn't lie. He had only taken classes for half a semester, and he was a real newcomer. As for the shooting locations, props, etc., it was really better to let Palmer do it himself. He was the defender anyway.

Dudel frowned. He vaguely seemed to notice something, but it was vague and somewhat unclear.

"Fans are also very concerned about your excellent use of props in "Hammer", which is simply not what you can do in a low-budget fantasy film. When the hammer smashed the skull, flesh and bone fragments flew everywhere, and the actors died.

The screams in front of me... all this reality is simply not like a movie, as if such a massacre really happened in an abandoned building..."

Dudel's voice gradually became quieter, his face turned pale, and he looked at Boluogo in panic.

Boluogo didn't notice the change in Dudel's expression at all, but continued to lie, "Oh, well, we happen to have a friend who is very good at making plasma props and so on. She helped a lot...Huh? Dudel

Del, are you okay?"

"Me? I'm fine, it's okay, it's okay."

Under Borlog's questioning, Dudel came back to his senses. He tried to stay calm, but he still seemed restless.

Dudel hesitated again and again, and decided to ask tentatively, "I have also watched the movie myself, and I have a more personal question."

"Excuse me."

"The movie is so real, it's just...just like..."

"Like what really happened?"

Boluogo answered quickly, and then laughed, "I have seen such comments. Many people suspect that this is not a movie at all, but a real massacre."

"how could be?"

Boluogo spread his hands, laughed and looked at the Hammer Murderer beside him.

"Hammer and kill!"

"Right!" Bologo explained as if he understood what the Hammer Murderer said, "If this was really the case, I would have been arrested and imprisoned long ago."

"Hammer and kill!"

"Besides, what I filmed was a personal project. If I really filmed an actual massacre... wouldn't it become a documentary?"

"Hammer and kill!"

Boluogo defended himself by saying, "I am a law-abiding citizen."

The Hammer Murderer nodded vigorously, "Hammer!"

Dudel was speechless. At present, he could conclude that this was not a movie at all, but evidence of Burlogo's crime.

In order to complete his summer vacation homework, this bastard prepared a camera and simple props in advance, and then let the unlucky guy Palmer be deliberately caught by the cultists, and then in turn filmed the massacre... Dudel had already begun to prepare for that

The cultists felt sad.

I'm afraid these cultists will never understand until their death that they actually lost their lives for such a ridiculous reason.

Borrowgo asked, "Any more questions?"

The Hammer Murderer tilted his head and asked in a questioning tone, "Hammer Kill?"

"There's...there's one more."

Dudel suppressed his complicated thoughts, "Everyone is very curious. In the last scene of the movie, when the Hammer Murderer walked out of the abandoned building, why did he look back and smile? And this smile was not the feeling of escaping.

But...a kind of evil smile in which the conspiracy succeeds."

"Maybe... the conspiracy succeeded?"

Boluogo confessed, "Although it is just a job, the filming cannot be too straightforward, and there is no place for the audience to think, so I deliberately designed this."

"Think about it, the unlucky guy who was about to be sacrificed a few minutes ago turned into a hammer murderer in the blink of an eye, killing everyone. Whether it was the change in mentality or the brutality of the killing, it was incompatible with the unlucky guy at the beginning.

"

Boluogo's voice gradually lowered and he whispered, "Perhaps, from the beginning, the unlucky guy was the Hammer Murderer? He was caught deliberately so that he could find a legitimate reason to kill?"

The hammer murderer whispered, "Hammer~"

Boluogo smiled, "It's just a little suspense of a twist."

Dudel took a deep breath. He was already regretting taking this interview, but fortunately, the Q&A was about to end.

"Last question, the audience is looking forward to your next work. When can we see it?"

Boluogo thought for a while and replied, "In three months, I will have a vacation and can shoot some personal works."

"Okay, I'm looking forward to it." Dudel showed a forced smile, "Finally, the interview is coming to an end. Do you have anything to say to everyone?"

"There's nothing much I want to say, and it's not like we won't meet in person," Boluogo waved to the camera, "I'll see you all in three months."

The Hammer Killer brandished his hammer and shouted with equal excitement, "Hammer!"
