Chapter 648 Slytherins Chamber of Secrets

Everyone bypassed the snake skin and continued to move deeper into the tunnel.

After turning several turns ahead, we finally came to the end of the tunnel. There was a solid wall with two intertwined snakes carved on it.

Albert took a step forward, looked at the emeralds in the snake's eyes, and muttered in a low voice: "It's actually an emerald. It's really rich."

Although it is only a preliminary polished finished product, such a gem is also very valuable.

"Is it valuable?" someone asked.

Everyone turned to look at the owner of the voice. Ron, who was a little embarrassed by everyone's stares, shrank his body back, trying to reduce his presence.

"It's still valuable, but you can't take it away, otherwise the door won't be opened." Albert took a step back and gave up his position to Harry.

"Open."

Harry looked into the snake's eyes, cleared his throat, and said in a low, hoarse hiss.

As soon as he finished speaking, the two snakes separated on the wall. The stone wall cracked in the middle and slowly slid to both sides and disappeared.

"This technology is good."

Albert felt that if he had the opportunity, it would be best to master this technology, which would definitely come in handy in the future. He never disliked the many skills he had mastered.

"go in!"

Harry walked into the secret room first, and everyone followed immediately.

After entering the secret room, they found themselves standing on the side of a long, dimly lit room.

There are many stone pillars engraved with entangled snakes around. The towering stone pillars disappear into the darkness at high places, casting strange black shadows on the room that is filled with green and mysterious light.

Albert waved his wand lightly, and several balls of light flew out from the tip of the wand, floating above everyone's heads, instantly dispelling the surrounding darkness.

After the darkness disappeared, the outline of the secret room was revealed, and everyone's attention was quickly attracted by the corpse of the basilisk not far away.

"You ruined the atmosphere of adventure." Fred muttered and complained, and began to look at the Slytherin-style secret room.

"To raise a basilisk, would anyone really create such a place?" Hermione was shocked by Slytherin's generosity. The area here is no less than the school's auditorium.

"I always feel that Slytherin has a monkey face." Lee Jordan took a photo of the statue in front of him and joked in a low voice.

At the end of the pillars, there was a statue as tall as the room itself. It was a Slytherin face with a long, sparse beard that almost reached the hem of the wizard's robes carved in stone.

As Lee Jordan said, the old Slytherin had a monkey face.

The corners of Albert's mouth raised slightly, trying not to laugh out loud. Fred and George beside him couldn't help laughing, not caring that the target of his ridicule was Slytherin.

"However, this basilisk is really big." Ron swallowed his saliva and sighed, "Harry, you are so powerful."

"No, I was able to kill it, it was more of a matter of luck." Harry felt a lingering fear whenever he recalled the original battle.

Being able to kill the basilisk is really luck.

"Fox should have pecked the eyes blind!" Albert glanced at the broken eyes of the basilisk, and his eyes fell on the fangs that fell on the ground. He took out the dragon skin gloves from his pocket and put them on himself, then bent down.

Pick up the fang Harry used to pierce Riddle's diary from the ground.

"Is this thing valuable?" Ron's voice sounded again.

"It should be quite valuable!" Albert put the basilisk's fangs into the wooden box, put it away again, and said to Ron, who was about to extract the tooth from the basilisk's mouth, "But you have to be careful, the basilisk's fangs are

Teeth are highly poisonous. If you are poisoned..."

"You have to use the tears of the phoenix to detoxify it!" Harry said first.

"Phoenix tears are very precious. Ninety-nine percent of people who are poisoned will die directly." Albert stopped paying attention to Ron and began to look at the secret room. His eyes fell on the statue of Slytherin. He took a few steps forward and walked to

He raised his hand and tapped the statue's mouth, then turned to Harry and said, "There should be a secret room here, open it!"

"Open!"

Harry opened his mouth and hissed, but this time he failed.

Failed?

Harry was a little surprised.

"The password is wrong." Albert was considering whether to blow up the entrance.

"I remember Voldemort said something and the basilisk came out of Slytherin's mouth," Harry recalled.

"What did Tom say?" Albert asked.

"At that time...it was an emergency situation, and I forgot." Harry stuttered. He had indeed forgotten that at a time of life and death, who would remember these things.

"If you heard at that time, I can use some special methods to find a way to open the secret room." Albert said to Harry: "Of course, you may not like the method."

"What can I do?" Harry asked.

"Legilimency, what happened in the past two days can be found out soon." Albert looked into Harry's eyes, raised his wand, and said before Harry agreed: "Then I'll start: Photography

Divine mind!"

Before Harry could resist, the surrounding area swayed and disappeared before his eyes.

A few days ago, the scene of his confrontation with Voldemort appeared in his mind. After hearing the password that Tom had used, his vision returned to normal.

Harry was still frozen in place.

"What's the password?" Albert asked.

Most people looked confused and didn't understand what happened in those few seconds.

"What did you do?" Hermione couldn't help but ask.

"Legilimency, you can read the memories in other people's minds." Albert explained casually, "Because it happened in the past few days, it can be found quickly."

"Looking through memories?" Hermione repeated.

"You can think of it as mind reading." Albert said without thinking.

"I hate this feeling!" Harry muttered.

"No one will like it," Albert urged: "Open it!"

"Speak to me, Slytherin - the greatest of the Hogwarts Four."

Albert thought he might have guessed where the inspiration for the Dark Mark came from. He waved his wand, causing the ball of light to fly into the cave first, illuminating the inside.

"I really don't know how Slytherin could have such a weird idea." Ron looked at the door that opened at the mouth and quickly followed the team into the passage.

Behind the stone sculpture is an open space, which is not very large. It was probably dug out specifically for the basilisk to live and hibernate.

"What are you looking for?"

Hermione looked at Albert who was looking around and couldn't help but ask.

"Looking for the real secret of Slytherin." Albert motioned for everyone to leave here first. He made sure there were no other secret doors around.

In fact, Albert didn't think Slytherin would hide the secret door here. If he came out and ran into the basilisk's eyes, he would be trapped first.

"The real Chamber of Secrets, you mean this is not Slytherin's Chamber of Secrets?" Harry was very interested in Albert's statement.

"Probably - there's nothing here."

Fred and George both felt that they had guessed the reason. Just as Hermione said, no one would deliberately create such a place to raise snakes.

"Initially, this place was probably used as a refuge." Albert expressed his analysis.

"Escape?"

"At that time, the relationship between Muggles and wizards was not good." After coming out of Slytherin's mouth, Albert began to look around again, looking for places with traces of magic.

"Is there really a secret room here?"

Albert turned his attention to the solid cave wall again, stared at it intently for a moment, and said softly, "Yes, I found it."

"How do you know there is a secret room here?"

Everyone looked at the stone wall on one side of the statue and couldn't see anything.

"Magic will always leave traces. As long as you look carefully, it's not difficult to find." Albert pointed to a certain location on the wall, turned to the people behind him and said, "I need blood."

"Blood?"

"Yes, a little blood is enough. If you apply it here, it must be the blood of a pure-blood wizard!" As he spoke, Albert pointed to a relatively smooth stone and said to the three Weasleys behind him.

: "Whoever comes, just a little bit will be enough."

The three of them hesitated for a while, and finally decided that George would be the bloodletter. He took the silver needle handed over by Albert, pricked it between his index fingers, and then smeared the blood on the location designated by Albert.

A dazzling white arch outline appeared on the cave wall, and the blood-stained rock in the arch suddenly disappeared, revealing a doorway.

"Wow, this works!"

Everyone felt incredible.

"Why do you need pure blood?" Harry couldn't help but ask.

"Slytherin is a pure-blooded person." Albert walked in first. Inside the doorway was an upward stone staircase.

"Where does this lead to?" Hermione's voice was trembling as she spoke. She was probably overly excited. This adventure simply exceeded her imagination.

"We'll find out soon enough!"

With that said, they walked through the stairs and entered a room.

However, this place seemed a bit beyond their imagination. There were a large number of decayed bookshelves and parchments around, and the marble walls were densely carved with text.

"This is……"

"Probably Slytherin's magical research!"

Previously, Albert thought that Slytherin left the knowledge in the Basilisk, but after thinking about it, he rejected this possibility, "This is the real Slytherin's secret room."
