Chapter 649 Meet the unknown again

"There really is a secret room."

Hermione looked at the hidden room and turned to look at Albert, "Can you read the writing on the wall?"

Albert tried his best not to pay attention to the latest panel task, looked at the writing on the wall, and said in an uncertain tone: "It's probably Old English."

"Old English?"

Everyone looked at Albert in confusion, and then at the unfamiliar writing on the wall. Anyway, they were completely confused.

"Is there any difference?" Harry asked.

"Old English has basically been lost, and not many people can understand it." Albert stretched out his hand to touch the carvings on the wall, "Maybe there are a few Old English scholars on the Muggle side who can read a small part of the content."

"Is Old English different from current English?" Ron couldn't figure it out at all. In his opinion, weren't they all English?

"It's basically a different thing, otherwise how could it be lost instead of evolving into the English we use today?" In fact, Albert could understand some of the text on the wall. It was not old English, but Latin.

But it is still somewhat different from the Latin system he mastered.

"Oh, I thought there would be something good hidden in Slytherin's secret room, but it turned out to be just a pile of rubbish." Fred walked to the pile of weathered scrolls, reached out and flipped through it, regretfully.

Complain.

"It's been a thousand years."

George picked up the scroll spell and watched the scroll shatter in his hands. He shrugged helplessly. When he stood up, he saw Albert looking around.

"What are you looking for? Are there other secret rooms here?"

"Probably, maybe... yes!"

Albert walked to a certain wall, stared at the snake-shaped symbol on it for a long time, and suddenly turned to everyone and said, "It should be right here."

“A chamber within a chamber within a chamber within a chamber?”

Everyone came closer and watched Harry use Parsnake to open the entrance. What came into view was an upward stone staircase.

"Follow up!"

The stairs were very narrow and could only accommodate one person walking. Albert raised his feet and walked at the front of the queue.

After walking up the stone steps for a few minutes, Albert saw a blue light on the stone steps in front of him. He sped up and walked to the end of the stairs. His eyes fell on the silver-inlaid knife placed on the side of the wall.

The torch is burning brightly, emitting a blue light.

"There are actually torches." Everyone thought it was incredible.

"What's this?"

"Eternal Fire: Gubler Fairy Fire." Albert picked up the torch, "It should be a magic item made by Slytherin and has a history of thousands of years."

"Is it valuable?" Ron couldn't help but ask.

"It's valuable, but you have to have connections, otherwise you'll just be taken advantage of." Albert glanced at Ron, always feeling that Ron's style of painting was wrong and he looked like a poor man.

Well, he is indeed poor.

Hey, no wonder I always ask like this.

"Harry, come over here!"

After Harry opened the entrance, several people discovered that stone steps led to a room.

"This is..." Everyone's minds immediately guessed where this was.

Slytherin room?

No, it should be Snape's room.

Albert had been here before. On a dark and windy night, he secretly knocked down Snape and took away some of the raw materials for the potion.

"Go back quickly." Albert urged in a low voice, "Don't touch the things here, this is Snape's bedroom."

"Snape's bedroom?"

On the contrary, everyone became more curious and looked at the furnishings in the room again. They had never been to Snape's room and wanted to see what that annoying guy's room looked like.

"Don't be stupid, do you want Snape to know that someone broke into his room?" Albert glared at the people who were about to move, and while turning around and walking back, he did not forget to remind: "Easter is staying at

As for the students in the school, Snape really wants to investigate and find you out soon. He himself is an expert in Legilimency, so you can't lie in front of him."

Everyone was startled and quickly followed Albert back to the secret room. Finally, they cast spells to clean up the traces of their visit.

"Didn't Snape discover the secret of the secret passage?"

"He's not a Parselmouth. He definitely doesn't know. Even if he knew, he wouldn't be able to open the secret passage."

After Harry closed the secret door again, everyone returned to the original secret room.

Albert took out his camera and planned to take some photos and try to translate the documents on the wall.

"Snape knows who is lying?" Harry suddenly asked.

"Yes, he knows. Snape is an expert in Legilimency and can easily figure out whether others are lying." Albert stopped taking pictures and said to Harry, Ron and Hermione, "Of course

, as long as you don’t look into Snape’s eyes, you can avoid being easily seen through by the other party.”

Harry felt bad all of a sudden. He realized that some of his past actions were stupid, and his unyielding stare was simply giving Snape a chance to see through him.

"Is there any way..." Before Harry could finish speaking, he was preempted by Albert.

"Yes, as long as you learn Occlumency, you won't be easily seen through by others."

"Can you teach us?" Hermione looked at Albert expectantly.

"If Legilimency and Occlumency were so easy to learn, we would have mastered them long ago." Lee Jordan said angrily, "Fred and George wouldn't have to memorize the key points in the textbook."

"Shut up." Fred and George both glared at Lee Jordan, "You make it sound like your grades are very good.

"Is there any other way?"

"If you don't want Snape to see through you, then tell the truth." Albert continued to take pictures, "Since it is the truth, Snape won't think you are lying.

Everyone was speechless.

"Dumbledore also knows Legilimency?" Harry asked again.

"Yes, he can, and he is very powerful." Albert said, "Although Professor Dumbledore is not the most powerful."

"Who is the most powerful, Snape?"

"No, you know that person too." Albert began to check the contents of the photos, then put them in order and put them away, "Okay, let's go back, I think there is nothing good here."

Is my guess wrong?

At first, Albert thought that Voldemort learned the dark magic from the Chamber of Secrets, but it seemed that the situation was different from what he imagined.

"Is this thing just thrown here?" Ron pointed to the Gublai Fairy Fire in his hand.

"If you want to take it back to decorate the dormitory, then take it back." Albert said nonchalantly, "Just don't say you found it in the secret room."

"No, if you have this thing, you won't be able to sleep well at night." Harry didn't want Ron to really take the Gubler Fire back.

Several people took a few more photos with the basilisk, which was a perfect ending to the trip to the secret room. Then, they came out of the pipe through magic.

Albert immediately returned to the common room to change out of his dirty clothes, and took advantage of everyone's free time to check the task panel information.

Slytherin's Chamber of Secrets.

The panel task shows that it has been completed, but the problem is that the reward of the task is unknown?

Okay, another mission with an unknown reward.

Albert felt that the real reward was probably the documents and carvings on the walls left in the secret room, but unfortunately most of them had been scrapped.

I almost forgot, there is also the corpse and shed skin of the basilisk, which may also be part of the mission rewards.

The house elves should take the time to pack them up and take them away.

Well, there's also the Gubulai Fairy Fire.

Having said that, all we have to do is find Hufflepuff's chamber of secrets, and then we can collect all the chambers of secrets of the Big Four.

Once you get them all together, you might be able to trigger a mission with rich rewards.
