Chapter 871 The Missing Warrior

Fred and George came out of Professor McGonagall's office with gloomy expressions. It was not that they couldn't understand Professor McGonagall's decision, but the other party's rigidity was really annoying.

They are more reluctant than anyone else to see anything happen to Albert, because only Albert is willing to help them realize their wish for a joke shop.

However, Fred and George also knew very well that Albert would not want to miss the opportunity to participate in the Triwizard Tournament because of some people's machinations.

"What now?" Fred asked.

"I can only hope that Lee Jordan can ask Angelina to vote for Albert." George didn't have any good ideas.

"I'm afraid not."

Professor Moody's voice suddenly came from behind the two of them.

Fred and George looked back in confusion at Professor Moody, who had just come out of Professor McGonagall's office.

"It's useless, there's no point in asking others to help vote, otherwise I would have registered for him long ago." Professor Moody said while leaning on crutches.

"What do you mean?" George frowned and asked.

"Last night, Dumbledore already mentioned that throwing one's name into the Goblet of Fire is actually the process of forming a magical contract with the Goblet of Fire. Asking others to help vote may make the magical contract useless.

It's meaningless, because the wizard who voted does not match the name of the contract. Only Dumbledore probably knows the specific situation, and only he can easily hide the Goblet of Fire and make Albert a warrior of Hogwarts." Moody

The professor's tone sounded annoyed, "But Dumbledore obviously didn't intend to do that. He was too noble and didn't bother to cheat. Also, are you sure that Albert is really missing? Have you searched elsewhere."

"We've searched all over the castle, but still can't find anyone." George said first.

"This is trouble." Professor Moody muttered and walked away, "Let me think about it, there must be other ways."

"The way he looked just now didn't look like he was pretending." After Professor Moody left, Fred frowned and said.

"I don't know, but since Albert thinks he is a fake, we'd better be more cautious. Albert's guess is very accurate." George couldn't tell, but he chose to believe Albert's words.

"So, you just lied?" Fred raised an eyebrow and looked at his brother.

"I just wanted to see how Professor Moody would react." George lowered his voice and said, "I always find this whole thing weird."

"Weird, are you talking about Albert's disappearance?" Fred indeed felt that there was something weird about this matter.

"Yeah." George nodded and said, "With Albert's ability and his training some time ago, the probability of being knocked unconscious and hidden by a sneak attack is low."

"Do you think Albert is hiding himself?" Fred asked.

"It's hard to say now, we can only trust Albert." George couldn't figure out what the situation was now, "However, we should still let Angelina sign up for Albert. No matter whether it works or not, we have to give it a try.

"

"It can only be the."

Albert, who was missed by the Weasley twins, was currently sitting on the sofa in the Room of Requirement, drinking afternoon tea and teaching Katrina how to learn Occlumency.

"Don't worry, I didn't expect you to master Occlumency in one day. That's very unrealistic." Albert said gently, "At the beginning, it also took me a lot of time to completely master Occlumency."

"Isobel is very good at Legilimency. Many times I feel that she can easily see through other people's minds." Katrina was trying her best to keep her tone calm.

"Don't worry, Isobel won't peek into other people's thoughts easily." Albert saw the girl's inner uneasiness and comforted her, "Besides, she actually cares about you."

Katrina didn't answer the question and asked, "How long do you plan to stay here?"

"The Halloween party is over." Albert took a sip of milk tea, "So, we have to dine here tonight."

"Don't you plan to participate in the Triwizard Tournament?" Katrina really couldn't understand Albert's thoughts, "Or do you actually know the results of the warrior selection already and secretly signed up for yourself?"

Albert smiled and said nothing.

"Forget it, pretend I didn't ask." Katrina supported her chin with her palms and looked at the falling rain outside the window. She suddenly turned to Albert and said, "Let's continue practicing. I hope to master Occlumency as soon as possible."

Katrina hates the feeling of being seen through. In fact, Isobel has known this for a long time, and now she doesn't know how to face her sister.

Fortunately, the two parties do not need to meet for the time being.

"Don't worry, you need to be prepared. That way you can get twice the result with half the effort."

It was raining outside the window, and the two people inside the window were talking.

Katrina doesn't hate the feeling now. In a sense, the love potion has taken effect, allowing them to spend a long, happy time here that belongs only to the two of them.

Due to the rain outside, the sky got darker faster than usual. Durmstrang's delegation and Beauxbatons' delegation both arrived at the castle before the sky darkened completely.

Looking at the Goblet of Fire that had been removed, the three of them looked unhappy. Albert did not show up in the end. This incident undoubtedly alarmed the Gryffindor students. Many people thought that someone was trying to prevent Albert from participating in the third round.

He wanted to compete for the championship, so he disappeared during the selection of the Warriors.

As for Albert being afraid of participating in the Triwizard Tournament?

Obviously it's impossible. Anyone who dares to make sarcastic remarks in a sarcastic tone has to ask the girls if they agree.

Because even Professor Moody recognized Albert's ability and believed that he could win the Triwizard Cup for Hogwarts. How could such a person be afraid of the Triwizard Tournament?

Conspiracy theories were popular for a while. Some people said that Slytherin students attacked Albert, because a large part of Slytherin students did not like Albert. Some people said that it was Durmstrang who did it, because once Albert

Specially participating in the Triwizard Tournament, their players will never have a chance to win the championship.

The Halloween dinner started with such discussions,

I don't know if it was related to the Halloween dinner. Today's dishes were more sumptuous than yesterday, but Fred, George and Lee Jordan were not in the mood to eat because Albert still didn't show up.

"Don't worry, Angelina has already registered for Albert." George comforted himself, but they still looked at the auditorium door from time to time, expecting that the door would suddenly be pushed open and that Albert would appear in front of them.

For this reason, they specially chose a location near the entrance of the auditorium to make room for Albert.

Compared with a few of them, other students were also very anxious and wanted this dinner to end as soon as possible.

After the food on the golden plate disappeared, the voice in the auditorium suddenly became louder. Everyone could not wait to know who would be chosen as the warrior.

Under the eager eyes of the students, Dumbledore finally stood up.

"Listen, after the names of the warriors are announced, I want them to go into the next room where they will receive initial instruction." Dumbledore pointed to the door behind the staff desk.

He waved his wand and extinguished all the candles suspended above everyone's heads. The auditorium suddenly darkened, and the blue-white flame of the Goblet of Fire burst into dazzling light in front of everyone.

Everyone is watching the Goblet of Fire, waiting patiently for the selection of the warrior.

Before everyone could wait too long, the blue-white flame in the Goblet of Fire suddenly turned into a dazzling red. The flames shot up high and sparks flew everywhere.

I saw a piece of burnt parchment flying out of the flames and being held by a hand.

Everyone in the auditorium held their breath and stared at the owner of the hand.

"The Champion of Durmstrang," Dumbledore held the parchment from a distance and used the firelight next to him to see the writing on the parchment clearly, "it is Viktor Krum."

In an instant, applause and cheers swept through the entire auditorium, and people were cheering for Viktor Krum to become Durmstrang's warrior.

Viktor Krum himself didn't seem too surprised. He stood up from his seat listlessly, walked along the teacher's desk, and entered the next room to rest.

After the applause and conversation gradually subsided, people once again turned their attention to the Goblet of Fire. This time they didn't have to wait too long. A second piece of parchment was spit out from the Goblet of Fire.

"The Champion of Beauxbatons," Dumbledore loudly announced again, "is Fleur Delacour!"

Next, only the Hogwarts warriors are left.

"It's finally over." Professor Moody stared at the Goblet of Fire in front of him, with a slight smile on his lips.

As long as Dumbledore declares the champion of Hogwarts, that troublesome guy will be completely eliminated, and then all he has to do is help Harry win the championship.

"The Champion of Hogwarts," Dumbledore shouted, already grabbing the third piece of parchment: "It's Albert Anderson."

Deafening cheers erupted in the auditorium, and a large number of students cheered for Albert to be elected as a warrior.

In the eyes of most Hogwarts students, only Albert has the qualifications to become a Hogwarts Warrior.

The moment Dumbledore announced the Hogwarts Warriors, Moody was stunned. He couldn't believe his ears.

How is this going?

How did Albert Anderson become a Hogwarts Champion?

Didn’t he sign up in person?

At this moment, Moody even wanted to rush up and grab the parchment from Dumbledore's hand to see if Dumbledore had pronounced the name wrong.

"Mr. Albert Anderson!" Dumbledore frowned, looked around the hall, and shouted again, "Albert, please come here!"

However, no one responded, as if the warrior named Albert Anderson was not in the auditorium at all.

In fact, Albert was not in the auditorium.

Professor McGonagall seemed to have thought of something and glared at Moody fiercely. She suspected that the old Auror next to her had secretly signed up for Albert.

But now is not the time to think about these things. Professor McGonagall stood up from the teacher's chair, walked to Professor Dumbledore and whispered eagerly in his ear. Dumbledore listened intently and frowned slightly.

Albert is missing?

Dumbledore actually knew about this, and Moody even approached him about it, but now we are not discussing who put his name into the Goblet of Fire, but how we should handle this matter now.

The buzzing discussion became louder and louder, and the auditorium was completely in a state of panic, because everyone had discovered that their warrior was missing.
