Chapter 15 Tzeentch Labyrinth

After a period of spinning, Snorri found himself in a strange corridor. The corridor seemed to be made of crystal, but it kept changing various colors.

Listening to the cackling laughter that seemed to be everywhere in his ears, he knew that the place he was in was probably the Labyrinth of Tzeentch, the residence of the most dangerous and terrifying one among the four gods of Chaos.

This maze is so scary:

Its own hallucinatory passages are enough to ward off intruders not controlled by the most powerful mental imaginations. Its shimmering corridors reflect not just light, but hope, pain, dreams and nightmares. The Crystal Maze doesn't just reflect;

Distort and divide the intruder's goals and ambitions, turning them into madness and despair.

Controlled by Tzeentch's unconscious machinations, the Crystal Maze is constantly moving and reorganizing; every winding path, turn, and dead end is a momentary whim of the Lord of Fate. Those lost within the maze will remain lost forever, and their thoughts

Shaken by the repetition of its own failures, dreams are shattered.

However, the maze around Snorri does not seem to be as powerful as the legend. Snorri himself not only understands the nature of this maze, but also possesses the dialectical materialism thought brought by his previous life. The pictures flash before his eyes like a revolving lantern.

The endless whispers in his ears can disturb him but cannot shake the foundation of his thoughts.

Snorri quickly calmed down. After a brief analysis, he confirmed that this was not the real Maze of Tzeentch deep in the subspace, but a projection in his own consciousness. Even if the power of the maelstrom had not subsided, even the Chaos Four

It is absolutely impossible for a god to take himself directly into the realm of chaos from the secret room protected by layers of rune magic!

If their power really reaches this level, Snorri thinks it would be better for him to give up the struggle and just go into the mix, so that he can still get a warm mouthful from eating rice fields.

Snorri knew about the Maelstrom, and there was a map surrounding it in the previous game. This was designed by the great high elf mage Caledor "The Dragon Tamer" and was finally completed with the help of the Slann Demon Toads.

.

During the first Chaos invasion, since the demons could be reborn in the warp after being killed, the army of Chaos was almost endless.

In order to solve this problem, Caledor decided to build a maelstrom to suck away the magical winds that the demons rely on to manifest in the material world, and then guide it back to the warp through the chaos portals at the two poles of the world.

Caledor gave his precious life to build the Maelstrom, and the Maelstrom lived up to expectations and protected the world for thousands of years.

Due to the lack of magical wind as a medium, it is difficult for the Chaos Gods to directly intervene in the mortal world. The power required to launch the Chaos Demon Army increases significantly. Even so, the demons who appear in the mortal world will lose their power due to the lack of magical wind.

Was significantly weakened.

Without the help of the Maelstrom, mortals would be almost unable to fight against the high-level demons of the Great Demon level. It is precisely because it is difficult to deploy the Chaos Demon Army, and its power will be weakened if it is deployed, that the Chaos Gods choose to spread their beliefs and erode and corrupt this

The natives of the world come to act as minions.

After thinking about it, Snorri looked at the maze in front of him with a sneer on his lips, and suddenly a bad taste came to his heart.

Imitating the great power of a certain believer in his previous life who had followers all over the world, he walked seven steps in each direction, pointed one finger at the sky and the other at the earth, and shouted, "I am the only one in heaven and on earth, and now my life in the past has been exhausted."

The maze in front of him shattered, but Snorri found that he had not returned to the real world but appeared in front of a strange castle.

"After all, it's Tzeentch, it's definitely not that simple!" He muttered to himself as he looked at the castle.

Pink and blue flames from the core of the fortress twisted and spurted out from the twin spiers and towers. These existed for only a heart-stopping time, and then flickered and disappeared, replaced by an even more crazy structure.

The doors, windows and doorways leading people in were yawning open, like big hungry mouths, and then suddenly closed the next moment, blocking all entrances.

Snorri, who understood that all this was an illusion, was not frightened. He walked straight through the burning fire of Tzeentch and strode into a twisted door with a smile on his face.

Entering the interior of the castle, Snorri felt the magic of subspace. The concepts of physical space and time did not exist here. A person might wander around in a room the size of a thimble for weeks, or he could travel through it in one step.

A journey that will take several hours to complete.

Gravity alternates and changes, sometimes even disappearing completely. Each light in the spectrum, together with the unknown shadow in the universe, alternately jumps forward on the wall.

For mortals, this changing fortress is a completely unacceptable existence. Because of their obsession with their physical solutions, people are driven to madness. But with the quantum mechanics courses they learned in their previous lives, Snorri cannot fully understand it.

Accepted these weirdness smoothly.

While walking deeper into the castle, Snorri observed the wonders along the way that would never be seen on the main material plane.

For a moment, Snorri felt as if he had returned to the first time he got on the plane in his previous life. At that time, he looked at the shrinking buildings on the ground, felt the ear discomfort caused by the changes in air pressure while climbing, and watched the sunset.

The magnificence reflected in the clouds is nothing short of novel.

After passing through several gates, Snorri finally saw a huge figure sitting cross-legged in front of a glowing well.

The figure's appearance kept changing in front of Snorri, sometimes it was a colorful demon with a beak and wings, sometimes it was a blue giant with a head on its chest and two snakes coiled behind it.

As if to let the visitor see his power, He waited for a while before raising his head from the well in front of him.

"Oh, initiator of change, you came faster than I expected! Are you so eager to join the great Lord of Change?"

After looking at each other in silence, He spoke first: "Hey, it's a dwarf this time. It seems that those weak indigenous gods in your world have finally learned a little bit wiser."

Dwarves are the third race created by the Old Saints after they came to this world. The first thing they created was the lizard people - so they called themselves the eldest sons of the Old Saints as their assistants in transforming the world.

Then the Ancient Saints created the elves and gave them a long lifespan and the talent to use magic. However, because the Chaos Gods can interfere with the world through the wind of magic, the elves are easily corroded. They are smart and fickle and soon fell into chaos.

The intervention brought down the gangs and plunged them into civil war.

To solve this flaw, the Old Ones then created the dwarves.

They deprived the dwarves of their spellcasting ability while giving them high magic resistance. They also gave them a stubborn, conservative, loyal and honor-oriented character. These qualities make the dwarves less susceptible to corruption by Chaos, but also make them stick to the rules.

Development is not fast.
