Chapter 104 Sun Lichai and Ben You

Sun Lizhai lived very well in Yigu'an.

Bhikshunis are a group of people with peaceful minds and kind dispositions, and most of the young disciples of the same age are also innocent and lively.

What Yigu'an inherits is Guiyuan Internal Kung Fu, the highest level is only sixth level, which is certainly much worse than Shaolin, but the relationship between martial arts realm and the level of the skills is not that big.

The inner strength of the ninth level below Lu Zhengkang can directly reach the innate. It can be seen that as long as you have talent and understanding, the quality of the car does not affect the scenery on the roadside.

There are countless sects and families in the world that are based on Guiyuan's inner strength, but the most famous and most powerful are only three. One is the Shanxi Yuanshan Sect, the other is the Liaodong Kongsang Sect, and the latter is the Jiangdong Blood Sect.

Among them, the Blood Sect is the most powerful, with its inner strength reaching the highest level of God, while the other two sects only reach the fifth level of Mystery.

Yuanshan School's internal strength integrates Buddhism and Taoism into one body, and it is the leader in the world in terms of spirituality and magnanimity.

The internal strength of the Kongsang sect penetrates the medical path and has the magical effect of rebirth and resurrection.

The blood sect's internal strength is based on witchcraft and evil methods, which is weird, terrifying, and infinitely powerful.

Compared with these three sects, it is no wonder that Tianxia Guiyuan Internal Strength is not worth mentioning.

Yiguan's martial arts follows the path of the Pure Land Sect in terms of mental methods. It is vast and convenient, and you can get started with sincerity. There are also more wonderful methods, and you can improve your skills just by chanting the Buddha's name.

Because of this, Yiguan has a large number of lay disciples, and there are many Buddhist families in the area where it is located in Boju, Gyeonggi Province.

Although Yigu Nunnery has strong incense and endless offerings, the life of the bhikkhunis is still very poor. They will not get involved with money themselves. The person in charge of the finance is a layman, and all charity will be regulated by the layman.

For example, if a pilgrim wants to donate a batch of monk's robes to the nunnery, he must explain the matter to the layman, and then the layman will inform the bhikkhunis. After they learn the news, they can go to the pilgrim to ask for the monk's robes.

There are many kinds of rules and regulations, and all behaviors are based on evidence. This may be a happy life for those with obsessive-compulsive disorder, but it is very boring for lively and active children.

Sun Lizhai would go to the Pure Land to play every night, but she was a very motivated child and would ask questions from the Shaolin monks who practiced in the Pure Land.

Over time, all the monks got to know this young disciple.

Her intelligence seems to be increasing day by day, and she has begun to dabble in Tang poetry and Song lyrics, Buddhist scriptures, painting and playing the piano. The most rare thing is not her smooth speaking, but her implicitness and conservatism. She has always followed the rules and never showed off her talents. Everyone

Everyone likes this child.

But she was considered an outsider after all, and she was a woman, so the most favored disciple among the Bald Donkeys was not Sun Lizhai, but the boy who had been recommended to Shaolin Temple by Lu Zhengkang.

Many monks disagree with Xu Ranxue's boast that the Bodhisattva is very wise and wise, while Sun Lizhai only has seven points. They say that the Bodhisattva is compassionate and wise, and will never give anyone more or less.

Half a point.

The boy is now four years old. His name is Ben Yu. He has high hopes. He has shown nothing extraordinary. Apart from the fact that he is very quiet, he is just an ordinary child.

He was also given the Epiphyllum and could enter and exit the Pure Land at will, but he almost never went there.

The other little bhikkhus all like to play in the Pure Land very much. A place where all their wishes come true is absolutely attractive to children.

In the temple, he was taken care of by two senior brothers from Prajna Hall. He behaved like a puppet. His favorite thing was to be in a daze. The senior brothers' daily task was to lecture him on sutras, just like they did to the disciples of Buddha. The original reason

There was no reaction at all, neither restlessness nor drowsiness.

No one can understand his performance, just like people can't see what a tree or a brick is thinking.

Although the monks still believe that Benyu has endless potential, compared to Sun Lizhai's performance, it is indeed much weaker. Several Zen masters said that this child is as wise as a fool, but has a heart as dull as a tree but is pregnant with wisdom.

On April 20th, the monks from Jingye Temple arrived at Shaolin.

After a night's rest, the two sides began to compete on a large scale.

This is a rare event where the whole temple is mobilized, and all the idle monks come to visit.

The Dharma Hall in the temple is located behind the Buddhist hall and in front of the abbot's room. It is the place where the Dharma is taught in the Zen forest, and it is solemn and solemn.

The monks outside the hall stood in awe, but their eyes looking inside could not hide their curiosity.

In the Dharma Hall, two groups of middle-aged and elderly bald donkeys sit facing each other.

The two parties agreed that there would be a total of ten books on art, all of which were familiar classics, such as "The Sutra of Forty-two Chapters", "The Avatamsaka Sutra", etc.

There are three Zen masters here in Shaolin, namely Jue Le, Jue Ban, and Zhi Zhi. They are familiar with Buddhist scriptures and have deep meditation. They are all enlightened monks and great virtues.

The three lawyers here at Jingye Temple are as quiet, as empty, and as prosperous. As masters who integrate precepts into their daily lives, their every move is strict and strict, like carefully carved beautiful jade beads.

In the middle of the Dharma hall, there is a competition table. The two sides sit opposite each other. Ten sets of sutras for competition are placed beside them. On a low table in front of them, ten chess pieces are placed on each side.

One asked and the other answered.

Rujing held the "Heart Sutra" in her hands and followed the book with her eyes until she gently placed it on the table, then raised her head and looked into Jue Le's eyes.

"Zen Master is polite."

"Lawyers are polite."

"What is the explanation of Prajna in the sutra?"

"What's so difficult about this? Prajna is great wisdom. Knowing it can lead to the other shore."

Rujing took the initiative to take away a chess piece in front of her, thus losing a city.

He continued to ask: "How can one obtain Prajna wisdom?"

Juele frowned: "It's so profound, do you really understand it?"

Now the answers are flowing: "As hungry as thirsty, as cold as warm, people walk in the world with natural freedom, prajna wisdom, and are born with it."

"Doesn't that mean everyone is a Bodhisattva?"

"You say in Zen Buddhism that everyone is a Buddha, why can't everyone be a Bodhisattva?"

Juele consciously took away the chess piece in front of him.

Lawyer Ru Jing made frequent moves, and Zen Master Juele unknowingly had only five chess pieces left in front of him. The Heart Sutra had already been extended to countless classics, and the amount of knowledge required was terrifying.

After the lawyer raised another question, Zen Master Juele gave up on his own initiative and removed three chess pieces at once, leaving only two.

Now it's Juele's turn to ask questions, and of course he has to talk about the Diamond Sutra, which is, after all, the fundamental sutra of Zen Buddhism.

After a heated exchange of words, Zen Master Juele was at a great disadvantage and had no choice but to lose all his chess pieces and was defeated.

The abbot of Jingye Temple smiled slightly at Zen Master Zi Xing.

After the start of the second game, Zen Master Juejiang showed his talent. The fierce exchanges made people fascinated. In the end, he combined the "Lotus Sutra Herbal Metaphors" with the "Diamond Sutra" with the idea of name and wrong. The Buddha spoke of all living beings.

In fact, it is not a metaphor for sentient beings, and it is revealed to the world. In fact, there are no sentient beings who are taught, so as to win the debate.

The Zen sect recognized that the Vinaya monks were not good at changing circumstances and lacked understanding of the true nature of transcendence, so they attacked him.

The monk of the Vinaya Sect also noticed that these reckless men were not very familiar with the scriptures and often went to remote places to ask questions.

The third game was a deadlock from the beginning.

In the end, Master Zhizhi had two sons left behind, just like Lawyer Sheng, who had one son.

The lawyer took out the Chang Agama Sutra and asked: "What is the meaning of life, old age and death?"

Zen Master Zizhi unexpectedly forgot which article this remark came from and fell silent.

The situation has reached this point and there is no time to lose.

"Why didn't the Zen Master answer?"

The Shaolin monks began to make a slight noise, the abbot recited a Buddhist chant, and the scene fell into dead silence again.

Zen Master Zizhi looked at the two chess pieces in front of him. It was impossible to give up. He could only ask a random question or answer a random question.

Monk Rusheng was obviously very confident, so he was afraid that he would lose his advantage if he asked the question.

It's really a dilemma.

At this moment, there was a noise outside.

"Who is this junior brother?"

"Don't run!"

"Junior brother, why did you run out? Don't go in!"

All the monks turned their heads and looked at the door.

I saw an expressionless little bald donkey walking into the hall with ease.

"I know that my uncle Taishi didn't answer, just because he would be wrong if he said it. If he didn't speak, there would be no such cause and condition. If he opened his mouth, this would be the cause."

It’s the reason why you come.

All the monks were shocked.

The abbot of Jingye Temple couldn't help but stand up and asked: "Are you Luyuan Bodhisattva?"

The reason did not answer. He first met the senior monks in the temple, and then said loudly: "I am just a young monk in Shaolin. How can I be a disciple of Lu Yuan Buddha?"

Lawyer Rusheng smiled and sighed, taking off the last coin in front of him.

Zen Master Zi Xing said cheerfully: "With the heart transmission of Lu Yuan Bodhisattva, this son will be the most beautiful in the world!"
