Chapter 30 Grandpa, dont think nonsense

Lying on a soft bed,

Shirley slowly opened her eyes and found that she was like a chrysalis, wrapped in a warm blanket.

She sat up suddenly and looked around. She didn't remember where she was for a while. After a moment, she remembered that she was not in a monastery, nor was she riding the Orient Express for a few days...

But it's at Rolf's house.

But the blanket wasn't tangled in by someone else, it was because she wasn't honest enough to sleep last night and rolled it up herself.

Shirley took a breath and lay back on the soft bed. She wanted to sleep again, but it wasn't that she didn't want to get up. It was because the bed was so comfortable, it was like sleeping in a ball of cotton.

Before closing her eyes, the girl glanced at the clock on the wall and found that it was almost twelve o'clock...

It's already twelve o'clock!

She actually slept until noon!

Oops!!

Shirley sat up again. She was a little panicked. She quickly put on her clothes and shoes and started combing her hair.

Compared to Hermione's messy hair, which can never be tamed, Shirley only needs to use a comb to comb it, and it can be very smooth.

The girl picked up the hair rope again, opened the curtains and windows at the same time, and saw a lake, sparkling in the sun, very beautiful

Shirley couldn't help but slow down. She stood by the window. The wall was covered with ivy, making rustling sounds as the wind blew by.

Shirley tied herself into a ponytail. She gently shook her red hair, looked at the blue sky in the distance, stretched and said:

"It's so beautiful."

The girl walked out of the house quickly and glanced at Luo Fu's room next door... The door was open, but no one was there.

Nonsense, it's already 12 o'clock at noon, and no one has gotten up yet... Thinking of this, Shirley felt bad all over.

Seeing the quilts placed randomly on Luofu's bed, the girl hesitated for a moment, then walked in and helped him tidy them up.

She folded the quilt, neatly like tofu pieces cut out by a knife.

Such good craftsmanship was acquired by Shirley in the monastery.

After the girl finished cleaning up, she entered the bathroom. On the shelf, there were brand-new toiletries prepared by Rolf for her.

Shirley turned on the faucet, and the mirror suddenly shouted: "Who is the most beautiful mirror in the world?"

"Mirror, Mirror, you are the most beautiful mirror." Shirley replied.

"Huh, that's pretty much it." The faucet started to water.

Shirley was a little funny. She was shocked when she used the bathroom for the first time last night.

She was about to take a bath, but in the end she had no choice but to bite the bullet and awkwardly called Luo Fu to help her drain the water.

After Shirley finished washing, she walked up the stairs to the first floor and found that there was no one in the living room, but lunch was being cooked in the kitchen.

A Bowtruckle sat cross-legged next to the stove, lazily basking in the dazzling sunshine. It opened its eyes and stared at the flames, as if its mission was to prevent the rice from being burnt.

Shirley checked and saw that lunch was almost ready. She asked curiously:

"Groot, where's Rolf?"

The Bowtruckle raised its slender arm and pointed to the stairs leading to the basement.

Just as the girl was about to walk over, Groot pointed to the food box not far away.

Shirley felt enlightened. She stayed by the kitchen, waited for the rice to be cooked, put it in a food box, then picked up the food box and walked down the stairs towards the basement.

Groot's arm hooked the girl's clothes, drew an arc in the air, and swung to her shoulders.

Shirley walked along the stairs to the basement, opened the door and saw a vast forest.

After staying in Rolf's box for a long time, Shirley was used to it. She looked into the distance, saw Rolf and Newt, and walked towards them.

Newt stood in front of a Reem cow, patted the cow's bulging stomach, and said:

“This is caused by ingesting a large amount of stems and leaves of leguminous plants such as peanut vines, pea vines, or alfalfa, which can cause acute bloating.

If the treatment is not timely or the method is improper, it can easily lead to sudden death of cattle and sheep, and the gas must be released in time..."

Luofu nodded lightly.

Newt saw Shirley standing not far away with a food box in both hands. The old man smiled, waved to the girl, and said, "Let's have lunch first."

He waved his magic wand again, and a wooden table and three stools appeared on the lawn not far away.

Luofu walked quickly and took the food box from Shirley. He laughed softly:

"I wanted to wake you up for breakfast this morning, but when I opened the door, I saw you wrapped like a chrysalis... you were so asleep that I didn't wake you up."

The girl's fair-skinned face suddenly turned red.

Luofu opened the food box and placed all the dishes on the table. The three of them sat on the stools and began to eat slowly.

At the dinner table, Rolf was still discussing the treatment of the cow with Newt.

Shirley did not disturb the two of them, and sat quietly aside, eating in small bites. She silently remembered the details she heard, and planned to write them down in her notes when she went back.

After finishing lunch, the girl put away the bowls and spoons, put them back in the food box one by one, closed them, and turned around.

Newt sat at the table and suddenly whispered: "Just take him in like this?"

"Shirley didn't go anywhere else." Luo Fu sighed:

"You didn't see how thin she was when I first saw her...she was also eating the kind of bread that had been left out for a long time.

That’s why I paid Shirley a salary and asked her to be my assistant.”

"You did the right thing!" Newt nodded in praise. After thinking about it, he reminded him: "But you are still young..."

"Grandpa, we are really just classmates." Luo Fe was speechless.

The old man laughed.

When he first met Tina, he said they were just friends.

Luo Fu said helplessly: "Grandpa, don't think blindly."

Newt smiled and said:

"I'm not imagining it, it's just someone delivering food. This scene is so familiar. It used to be Tina... then it became your mother, and now there's another one. It's great!"

"..."

After Newt taught Rolf how to treat cow bloating, he turned around and left the basement.

Shirley had already finished washing the pots and dishes. She came over and sat down next to Luo Fu. She said a little shyly: "Sorry, I got up late."

"It's okay, I often stay in bed too." Luofu said with a smile: "My grandfather asked me to tell you when he just passed away... Just treat it like your own home."

"Mr. Scamander is so kind." The girl breathed a sigh of relief and encouraged herself:

"I will work hard. Is there anything you need me to do?"

"Not yet. I'll take you around the village later." Luofu thought for a while and said, "By the way, have you finished your homework?"

"It's finished." Shirley nodded and said, "Every night, I stayed up late at the monastery and secretly wrote it, so I have a lot of free time now."

"That's good." Luo Fe nodded with satisfaction and suddenly smiled:

"As my assistant, I'm going to give you your first task."

"What mission?" Shirley looked serious.

"Lend me your summer homework to copy. I haven't written the history of magic yet."

"..."
