Chapter 67 This is fantasy time!

Human beings are complex, dynamic, and subjective animals... Many times, even minor changes can change a person's mind.

The secret room was burned, the basilisk was taken away, and even the person holding the diary was no longer Ginny... Because of Rolf's butterfly effect, this was more than just a minor change.

Tom Riddle is not a fixed program, and what he thinks and does will of course change.

But the problem is that although Tom changes from time to time, everything he does has a clear goal and is not arbitrary.

Just like the original time and space opened the secret room and released the basilisk, he just wanted to kill people...the same goal as fifty years ago.

Although he didn't succeed in the end, it was just the students' luck.

But now it was clear that he could kill Filch, but Tom didn't do it. This only shows that his goal has changed, and he seems to have other ideas.

And in this idea, Filch probably cannot die!

Of course, no matter what the goal is, the most important thing is to first find the person who holds the diary.

For now, Rove still thinks Lockhart is the biggest suspect.

He was not in his office during the attack on the trophy room; he was also alone in the campus hospital during the Halloween dinner, so he had full time to commit crimes.

Lockhart is like Dagu. Every time a monster appears, he disappears for three minutes...it looks so suspicious!

Rove planned to sneak into the Defense Against the Dark Arts office one day during class to look for the diary.

Seeing that the boy continued to be in a daze, Hermione leaned over with his fluffy head and asked curiously: "What are you looking at?"

Luo Fu came to his senses and slightly raised the book in his hand, revealing the thick gilt cover.

"The Encyclopedia of Pure-blood Families of Britain?" Hermione asked in surprise: "Why do you read this?"

Without raising his head, Luo Fu continued to read: "Check the information."

Hermione was slightly surprised, and picked up a book from the table that Rove had collected from the bookshelf, and started reading it silently.

After a while, the girl probably saw something confusing, poked the boy's arm with her elbow, and asked:

"Isn't your family pure blood?"

"It's pure blood." Luofu nodded gently.

"Then why does this book include the so-called twenty-eight pure-blood families, but not Scamander?" Hermione narrowed her eyes.

Luofu raised his head, glanced at the "Pure Blood Directory" in the girl's hand, and chuckled:

"I heard my grandfather mention this. He had offended the author of this book, Cantancruz Nott. When he wrote this book, he did not include our family in it."

Shirley, who was writing her magic spell homework, also stopped writing, raised her head and asked curiously: "How did you offend me?"

"When Cantanclus Nott wrote this book, it was in the 1930s. Because of the rise of Grindelwald, it was the time when bloodline theories were at their most serious."

Luofu said slowly: "My grandfather refuted those pure-blood remarks in the Daily Prophet. He said that only pet dogs can talk about bloodlines."

"In short, this statement also offended Cantanklus Nott, a pure-blood fanatical admirer, and Scamander was 'expelled' from the pure-blood family by him." Rolf shrugged.

Hermione was amused by this statement. After she learned about the insulting meaning of the word "Mudblood", she had been depressed for several days. She didn't understand why pure-blood families discriminated against Muggle-born students.

At this moment, all the trivial worries in my mind were gone.

After all, only pet dogs matter in terms of pedigree.

"Rolf, what is your grandpa usually like?" Hermione asked curiously: "Is he amiable, like Professor Dumbledore? Or is he serious, like Professor McGonagall?"

"I've said it many times." Luofu said softly: "My grandfather and I are almost autistic and don't like to talk much."

"Okay, pretend I didn't ask you!" Hermione rolled her eyes and turned to look at Shirley.

"Shirley, you are staying in Romania during the summer vacation. You should know that, right?"

"I can't say, Mr. Scamander is a very kind old man." Shirley said thoughtfully:

"But he is really taciturn and cherishes words like gold. Talking to him... seems to be charging per word."

The description was so vivid that Rolf couldn't help but laugh.

"Shirley, I will write to my grandpa and tell him your comments."

The girl with the ponytail smiled, her eyebrows arched, as if she was admitting her mistake and begging for mercy, or she was acting coquettishly:

"Rolf, please don't tell me this, right?"

"If you want me to shut up, it depends on your performance."

Shirley bit her lip and said weakly, "Then how do you want me to behave?"

Luofu placed a thick stack of books next to the two of them.

"I'm looking for information about the Smith family. If you two have nothing to do, help me find it."

"..."

Hermione raised her eyebrows and said, "What are you looking for?"

"Hufflepuff had a house elf with him, and he left a portrait before he died." Rolf explained:

"I want to find the portrait to ask something about Hufflepuff, and this Smith family is Hufflepuff's distant relative."

"Okay, hurry up and help." Luof stretched out and smiled at the two girls:

"After we finish looking for a few books, we can all go back to bed early."

"..."

It is indeed very difficult for a person to search for information about the Smith family in a large number of books. There are two free laborers beside him. If Rolf does not squeeze hard, he will be a beast.

However, this was destined to be a long-term work, and the three of them only collected it slowly.

As Halloween ends and November enters, the Quidditch game is finally about to begin.

Because of Quirrell, the finals of last school year were eventually cancelled, resulting in Hufflepuff and Slytherin not being able to decide the winner and having a bickering for several months.

The first game of the new school year is between these two teams. Whoever can win the game will have the right to speak in the second half of the year.

After all, the winner is the one who can slap the loser hard!

Snakes are very confident.

The Slytherin Quidditch team, with the sponsorship of the school director's father, upgraded to the new Nimbus 2001.

In an era when Nimbus 1500 was still widely used in other colleges, Nimbus 2001, although it felt a bit IQ-taxed, undoubtedly beat several other teams in terms of performance.

This is equivalent to using all-American equipment to fight against Xiaomi plus rifles. I really have the advantage!

How to lose when flying dragon rides on the face!

As a fantasy time, Slytherin students are no longer happy to open the champagne for this game, they even made reservations for this year's Quidditch Cup in advance.

In the words of Professor Snape mocking Professor McGonagall at one breakfast time:

"You are all here to compete for the runner-up spot!"
