Chapter 132 Wolfsbane Potion

It is already the third year of taking History of Magic. Although Slytherin house points are deducted every time, which is really cool, but as time goes by, Rolf will still correct it with Professor Binns:

His name is not Skadi, his name is Scamander!

But I don’t know why, even after correcting him many times, Professor Binns still calls me by the wrong name.

All we can say is that this Slytherin student named Skadi may be as handsome as Rove and owe Professor Binns a lot of money, otherwise he wouldn't be so obsessed with him.

After class, Luofu did not leave immediately, but stayed alone and asked:

"Professor Binns, I don't understand something about the history of magic, and I would like to ask you for advice."

It had been the first time in hundreds of years that a student had asked him questions after class. Professor Binns' soul, which had long been silent, suddenly felt a little throbbing.

"Oh, what's the problem? Mr. Skadi!"

"I see you just said in class that Ms. Rowena Ravenclaw died of illness, which is also the case in Bathilda Bagshot's "A History of Magic."

Luofu paused and lowered his voice:

"But I have heard another theory. Rumor has it that Ravenclaw was killed by other wizards. You and she were colleagues at the time. Did you know that?"

Professor Binns was stunned for a moment. He stared at Rove hard, as if he had never looked at this student carefully before.

"Who did you listen to?"

"Ms. Grey, Helena Ravenclaw." Rolf whispered, "She said you told her the news."

"Did I say that?" Professor Binns' eyes became confused and he tried to remember:

"It's been too long. I can't even remember many things from the past..."

"Think about it again?"

Professor Binns stared at Luo Fe and said: "It seems to be a student. He told me back then."

"Which student?" Luo Fe said excitedly.

Professor Binns was silent for a moment, shook his head and said: "It's been almost a thousand years, how can I still remember it."

Well...even if I remember, that student would have been dead long ago, and his bones would probably have turned into ashes.

Rolf sighed and asked about Slytherin again.

That basilisk belongs to Slytherin, and there is a high possibility that he made the basilisk into a Horcrux.

But Professor Binns asked questions and didn't get much useful information, so Rolf had to rush to the Potions classroom.

Anyone can be late for class, but not Snape's class!

When Luo Fe arrived in the classroom, he saw a crucible with purple smoke on the podium.

Professor Snape stood next to the cauldron, holding a silver knife and handling a brightly colored flower.

Rolf sat next to Shirley and asked softly: "What's going on?"

"I don't know either." Shirley shook her head and said, "After I came to the classroom, I saw Professor Snape brewing the potion there."

Rolf narrowed his eyes. Snape had never brewed potions in class before, and this was the first time.

Looking at the purple magical plants placed on the operating table, Luo Fu whispered: "That's wolfsbane weed."

Wolfsbane, also known as Wolfsbane, is a poisonous magical plant that has analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects. It is also the main material for brewing Wolfsbane potion.

Of course, it also has a unique name... Brokenheart Grass.

After accidentally taking aphrodisiac, taking dianchangcao can be used to relieve the effects of the drug.

This is the wonderful effect that Newt discovered back then.

He used to help breed horned camels that were about to become extinct, but when the animals didn't cooperate, he violently used a love potion.

Once, Newt accidentally took a love potion by mistake, and unexpectedly discovered that the guinea pig had miraculous effects, which helped him relieve his abnormal state.

As for how Newt was able to resist the effects of the love potion before taking the gallbladder, Luofu didn't dare to say, nor did he dare to ask.

It was the first time for the little wizards to see Snape brewing a potion, and they couldn't help but stare at him.

Apart from anything else, Snape's knife skills were really good. He cut so many wolfsbane plants quickly and steadily, and each section of the herb was cut as thin as a hair.

With such a skillful hand, it would be a pity not to become a cook... At least he is good at chopping potatoes.

After Snape put the wolfsbane into the crucible, he looked at the students through the hot steam and said in a cold voice:

"Who knows how to deal with a werewolf?"

This question was obviously out of line. The students became quiet and no one answered him.

"No one knows?" Snape said with a sarcastic smile on his face: "I never thought that third-year students would not know how to deal with werewolves."

"Professor Snape, we haven't learned about werewolves yet." Hannah raised her hand and replied, "We have been practicing the Patronus Charm recently."

Snape snorted coldly: "This only means that your progress in Defense Against the Dark Arts is very behind. I will write it down and tell Professor Dumbledore."

"Perhaps Professor Black has been in Azkaban for too long and is not qualified for this position. He needs a more experienced teacher to replace him."

"But Professor Black is the best Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher we have ever had." Susan whispered.

The rest of the class murmured their agreement.

Snape had a terrifying expression on his face, and he sneered:

"You are easily satisfied, but Professor Black is indeed hiding his secrets and has not given you his best magic."

"What magic, Professor Snape?" Padma Patil of Ravenclaw asked curiously.

"How to identify and deal with werewolves." Snape laughed maliciously.

"Blake is a werewolf expert. What you may not know is that when he was in school, he had a relationship that went beyond friendship with a werewolf. This illegitimate relationship lasted for more than ten years.

No one understands werewolves better than him!"

Professor Snape paced slowly in the classroom and said slowly:

"Perhaps you can ask him for advice on how to kill a werewolf in the next Defense Against the Dark Arts class. Don't miss such a good opportunity."

Everyone was whispering, obviously discussing who the werewolf who had an improper relationship with Professor Black was.

"So, who can tell me how to deal with werewolves?" Snape looked at Rove and said:

"Scamander, you just killed a werewolf not long ago, maybe you can impart some experience to everyone?"

All the students turned to look at Rolf. He killed the notorious werewolf Fenrir Greyback last summer vacation... everyone knew about it!

"A werewolf that turns into a wolf has high magic resistance and defense, and is also very fast. It is very irrational to confront it head-on."

Luofu stood up and said:

"If you can restore the human form spell, you can temporarily turn the wolf-like werewolf back into a human. This is a good way.

Hand-held sharp blades...such as daggers and swords made by fairies can also pierce their skin."

"Of course, there is another way, which is to give the werewolf wolfsbane potion."

"That's right." Snape grinned. "Wolfsbane potion... This is the potion I am going to teach you to make in this lesson!"

"We can't brew this, right?" Hannah questioned in a low voice: "Even many potion masters can't..."

"It doesn't matter, I don't expect you to be able to cook it." Snape lowered his voice and said:

"But Professor Dumbledore asked me to help brew wolfsbane potion for a werewolf.

The principal is urging me, if you have a good wolfsbane potion that you can brew, I will give it to the principal first."

Everyone took a breath. Are you brewing wolfsbane potion, or do you want to poison the werewolf?!
