Chapter 196 Trelawneys Prophecy

On the day of the Divination class exam, all the students gathered in the corridor, waiting for Professor Trelawney to call their names before entering the room.

This one-to-one assessment method undoubtedly increases everyone’s psychological burden.

Many students are still holding "Looking Through the Fog to See the Future" in their hands, hoping to memorize something useful at the last moment.

And every student who walked out of the classroom was immediately surrounded by everyone, and everyone asked:

"What did Professor Trelawney ask? Did it pass?"

However, the students who accepted the assessment refused to answer, and they looked mysterious, making everyone more nervous and curious.

When Susan came out, MacMillan couldn't bear it anymore and said dissatisfied:

"Susan, what questions did Professor Trelawney ask? What are you afraid of? She is not here."

Susan hissed and said nervously: "She is everywhere!"

"..."

"Earl McMillan!" A familiar vague voice suddenly sounded above their heads.

McMillan snorted and quickly climbed up the silver stairs. When he was about to enter the door, he turned his head and made a face at everyone:

"When I come back, I will tell you the test questions!"

Ten minutes later, McMillan walked out with a dejected look on his face. It looked like the results of the assessment were terrible.

"How's it going, Earl?" Justin put his arms around MacMillan's neck and asked, "What did Professor Trelawney ask about?"

MacMillan looked strange. He hesitated, and finally shook his head and said:

"It can't be said... Professor Trelawney said that the crystal ball told her that if I told you, something terrible would happen to you!"

"..."

Soon it was Hannah's turn. She stayed in the room for twenty minutes before walking down the stairs lightly.

As one of several loyal fans of Professor Trelawney, Hannah looked proud and said with a smile:

"Full marks... Professor Trelawney just praised me and said that I have all the qualities to open the Third Eye."

Everyone looked envious.

By the way, "Rolf, Trelawney asked me to call you up." Hannah said.

Luo Fe was reading a book called "The Breeding of Manticores". He nodded, carried his suitcase, walked up the silver stairs to the attic, and pushed the door open.

The curtains in the room were closed, making it extremely dark. The only light came from the flames in the fireplace, filling the room with a gloomy red light.

Professor Trelawney was sitting behind a desk, with a large crystal ball in front of her.

"Hello, dear," she said softly, "look at this crystal ball... now I'll give you a timer... and tell me what you see in it..."

Rolfe sat on a round stool covered with thick wool felt and leaned over to look at the crystal ball. He saw nothing but his own reflection.

"Books...several books."

"Well, what book?" Professor Trelawney came over and asked in a low voice: "Child, look carefully, can you see the title of the book?"

"The Evil Story of Merlin and King Arthur." Luo Fu replied: "There is also a price tag at the back of the book...Nine ounces for fifteen kats...Professor."

"..."

Professor Trelawney was writing with a quill pen. After hearing the young man's words, her little hand shook suddenly, dripping a large amount of ink on the parchment.

"Rolf, you may have seen it wrong...take a closer look."

Professor Trelawney stared at the crystal ball and said in an ethereal voice: "I will make an exception and give you a reminder. There are no books in the crystal ball... only human figures."

"Well, Professor... you are right." Rolf raised his head, stared at Trelawney, and smiled:

"I also saw a vague figure...a witch...it seemed to be Cassandra Trelawney."

"..."

Rolf straightened up, stared into Trelawney's eyes, and said, "Professor, the few heirlooms you sold me didn't even cost ten galleons in total, but you charged me a thousand galleons.

Should we settle this matter?"

"Keep your voice down, child." Trelawney quickly glanced at the door and lowered her voice and said, "I'm not forcing you... we trade fairly, and we do not bully the elderly!"

"Young men are innocent? How can you have the nerve to say such things?" Rolf grabbed Trelawney's sleeve and said reluctantly:

"Do you really think I'm being taken advantage of?! Hurry up and refund the money!"

"I have no money." Trelawney also said firmly: "I bought all those galleons for wine."

"Then let's go find Professor McGonagall to comment." Luof said with a smile:

"Professor Trelawney, you don't want Professor McGonagall to know about your deception, right?"

Trelawney glared at Rolf fiercely, crossed her arms, and raised her shoulders, as if trying to protect herself from this rude and rude threat.

She also regretted a little. If she had known better, she would not have listened to her great-great-grandmother's deception, and took a few tattered books and sold them to Luofu.

"Rolph... look at this, I'll give you full marks on the divination exam, isn't it okay?" Professor Trelawney discussed.

"The last time we bet, you lost to me, so you should have given me full marks." Luofu shook his head: "This compensation is not enough, I am not satisfied."

"Then what do you want me to do?" Trelawney asked: "You can put it forward. As long as it's not too much, I can agree to it."

Rolf was waiting for Trelawney's words, he smiled and said:

"I want to meet Cassandra. Did she leave a portrait?"

Professor Trelawney looked at Rolf with strange eyes, "You talk about Cassandra, but she is her great-great-grandmother. Don't call her so kindly, as if she is very familiar with you two!"

"Rolf, my great-great-grandmother did leave a portrait."

Trelawney stood up, walked to the wall, and opened a curtain to reveal a portrait, but there was no one inside.

"She's not always here...and I rarely see her."

Rolf frowned and said, "Did Cassandra leave anything else for me?"

"I did keep it." Trelawney nodded and said seriously: "My great-great-grandmother left you a prophecy."

"What prophecy?" Luofu cheered up.

Trelawney coughed and read:

"When the sun rises in the west and sets in the east, the dead will be resurrected and the old demon king will return again.

Lions and snakes, eagles and badgers are all trustworthy.

Neither the son of the snake nor the mother of the dragon can be trusted."

Rolf waited for a long time, looked at Professor Trelawney, and said in shock: "No more?"

"No more." Professor Trelawney adjusted her shawl and said, "My great-great-grandmother only told me these few words...let me tell you."

Luo Fe thought for a while and said: "Professor, can you help me interpret it?"

"Rolf, the third eye is not used to help you interpret prophecies."

Professor Trelawney said in an airy voice. She was arranging her shawl and the many strings of shining beads, and suddenly whispered:

"One thousand galleons... I will help you decipher it."

Luofu turned around and left, closing the door vigorously when he walked out of the room.

"What a lack of quality." Trelawney wrote a perfect score on Rove's score, and finally muttered in a low voice:

"How come great-great-grandmother is so familiar with Rolf? What is their relationship?"
