Chapter 041: Third Uncle's Secret

There is another theory about Zhuge Liang’s ancient tomb. Regarding the secret burial, the most mysterious story is that of Zhuge Kongming, an outstanding statesman during the Three Kingdoms period.

According to legend, Zhuge Liang accidentally kicked out a lamp because Wei Yan broke into the camp at night, destroying the method of extending life, and he has been ill ever since. When he was dying, he wrote a suicide note to Liu Chan, instructing him to put his body in a coffin after his death.

, he was carried southward by four soldiers. The place where the pole was broken and the rope was rotten was his burial place.

How could Liu Chan not obey the last words of the prime minister who had made great contributions to the Shu Han Dynasty?

So he ordered four strong men from Kansai to carry his coffin and go south.

After carrying it for a day and a night, the four men finally lost their strength, but at this time the bars were not broken and the ropes were not broken.

The four people conspired and said: "The prime minister is dead, and the court will send our brothers to carry him around in the deep mountains and old forests. There is not even an official escort. Who are we working hard for, and who are we busy for? It's just a joke."

, just dig a hole here and bury it!" So they dug a hole and buried Zhuge Liang's coffin on the spot.

After returning, they reported to Liu Chan that they would bury the prime minister's coffin where the poles were broken and the ropes were broken.

After listening to the report, Liu Chan felt something was wrong. How could the bar break and the rope break so quickly?

So the four men were arrested and interrogated severely. The four strong men could not bear the pain of flesh and blood, so they had to confess.

Liu Chan was furious and killed four people for deceiving the emperor.

However, after the four strong men were killed, the world no longer knew where Zhuge Liang was buried.

This story should end here.

However, in order to exaggerate Zhuge Liang's wit, later generations thought that all this was expected by Zhuge Liang, because Kong Ming had already expected that after his death, the Kingdom of Shu would be destroyed by the Sima clan, and after the demise of the Kingdom of Shu, the Sima clan would come to dig his grave.

, so he "directed" this drama after his death to ensure his peace after death. Cao Cao and Kong Ming both adopted secretive methods to handle their funeral affairs, but the former was considered a "treacherous" thing, while the latter

It is understood as "wit", and the subtleties in it are worthy of careful consideration by future generations.

There is a tomb of Marquis Wu in southern Shaanxi, which is said to be the resting place of Zhuge Liang. After the failure of his fifth attack on Wei, he fell ill from overwork and died in the Wuzhangyuan Army.

According to his last orders, the Shu Han court buried him at the foot of Dingjun Mountain (now Dingjun Mountain in Mian County).

But this is not the actual burial place.

The most surprising thing in the tomb of Marquis Wu is the two tall osmanthus trees next to the tomb of Marquis Wu. They are known in history as the "Shuanggui trees guarding the tomb". They are located in front of the tomb, just like two guards guarding Zhuge Liang's tomb. This tree is 19 meters high and 19 meters in diameter.

More than 1 meter, it was planted during the Three Kingdoms period.

Because Zhuge Liang assisted Liu Bei in establishing the Shu Han regime and rose to the rank of Prime Minister Wu Xianghou, people have called this cemetery Wuhou Temple for thousands of years.

The earliest Wuhou Temple was built near the Tomb of Wuhou, at the foot of Dingjun Mountain. It was only in the Ming Dynasty that the temple was rebuilt at its current location. It is said that the Wuhou Temple in southern Shaanxi was the only one built by an imperial edict from the emperor (Liu Chan, later lord of the Shu Han Dynasty).

The Zhuge Liang Temple was built fifty years earlier than the Wuhou Temple in Chengdu.

Double steles in front of Zhuge Liang's tomb.

The one on the left was erected in the Jiawu Year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty, and the one on the right was erected in the 13th year of Yongzheng in the Qing Dynasty.

The inscription on the plaque is "Shuanggui Liufen". Judging from the secret burial and the degree of confidentiality of the tomb, we have to say that Cao Cao and Zhuge Liang, the enemies of the Three Kingdoms period, were actually rare masters in the world. At the foot of Dingjun Mountain

There are two tall osmanthus trees beside Wuhou's tomb.

Historically known as "Tomb Guarding Shuanggui", also known as "Double Gui Liufen", it is located on the front of the tomb, just like two guards guarding Zhuge Liang's tomb. This tree is 19 meters high and more than 1 meter in diameter. It is said that it is the head of Zhuge Wuhou

It was planted when he died, more than 1,700 years ago.

There are also cypress trees surrounding the tomb. There were originally fifty-four, but after years of hard work, only about twenty are left.

The fate of the tombs of the emperors, prime ministers, civil servants and generals as well as various bureaucrats and celebrities in the same era as Cao Cao and Zhuge Liang was much more tragic. During the historical turning point of the Three Kingdoms, Two Jins, Southern and Northern Dynasties, when wars were endless and the people were in dire straits, the tombs were scattered everywhere.

Countless tombs have been robbed, and many of the tombs of celebrities alone have been robbed.

In the Wuhou Temple in the southern suburbs of Chengdu, there is an ancient tomb hidden among the lush bamboo trees. This is the tomb of Liu Bei, the emperor of the Shu Han Dynasty during the Three Kingdoms period, named Huiling.

Liu Bei is a descendant of Liu Sheng, King Jing of Zhongshan. He was born in poverty and started his own business from scratch.

But he was indomitable, suffered repeated setbacks, and finally became a powerful leader from a man selling mats and weaving mats, and was called a hero by the world. Therefore, Liu Yuxi, a great poet of the Tang Dynasty, couldn't help but sigh in his poem "The Temple of the First Lord of Shu"

: "The heroic spirit in the world has lasted for thousands of years." This majestic heroic atmosphere even calmed the tomb robbers.

There are also relevant records in the Su family's classics. The reason why Su Jiu thought of these after hearing Wang Xuan's words was precisely because of the relevant records in the Su family's classics.

It is recorded in the classics that a robber came to the tomb of the late Lord of Shu. He saw two people playing chess with lights and more than ten guards. The robbers were frightened and thanked them. One of them asked, "Are you drinking?" They each drank a cup and begged for a jade belt.

Several of them were taken out quickly. When they were stolen outside, the mouths were painted. The belts were filled with the aura of giant snakes. Looking at the holes, they were as good as before.

Su Jiu didn't know whether Mr. Zhuge's tomb was stolen, but it was an indisputable fact that Liu Bei's tomb was stolen.

The tomb of Sun Ce, the elder brother of Sun Quan, the Great Emperor of the Three Kingdoms, was robbed. When Sun Ce was young, he was so lucky that he was known as the "Little Overlord". After his death, he was buried near Suzhou City.

According to "The Tomb of King Sun" written by the Song Dynasty, tomb robbers once dug up Sun Ce's tomb and obtained many gold and jade artifacts, such as silver bowls, gold scratches, etc.

Later, the tomb robbers were caught, and all the treasures were taken by a man named Zhu Li. Soon, Sun Ce's tomb was abandoned and turned into an official kiln.

The tomb of Zhuge Jin, brother of Zhuge Liang and a famous official of the Eastern Wu Dynasty, was also stolen during the Ming Dynasty. This fact was found in the book "San Gang Shi Lue". The book states: There is a mound outside Dongguan in Wu County, and the locals

It is said to be the royal tomb.

During the Ming Dynasty, a hunter went hunting outside the pass and saw a hole next to the mound.

So he sneaked in that night. After entering, he found a stone bed and tables filled with gold and silver utensils.

The most surprising thing is that there is a treasure furnace inside, with a simple shape and bright colors. This treasure furnace later changed hands several times and was purchased by a local rich man.

The rich man placed it on the table and saw the smoke in the stove spontaneously forming clouds of five colors. What was even more surprising was that a white crane could be vaguely seen flying among the clouds.

There is a short stele in the tomb, and the words engraved on it indicate that the owner of the tomb is Zhuge Jin.

Later, the officials of Wu County captured the Orion and confiscated all the treasures. However, the treasure furnace was lost among the people and its whereabouts are unknown.

The reason why there are so many legends about Mr. Zhuge’s funeral is because Mr. Zhuge betrayed his family in the first place.

Here, it can be regarded as a secret of the nine great families in China.
