Chapter 59 You call this a sabotage ceremony?

Henry found a random piece of paper and drew out the entire area below the deck leading to the engine room from memory.

This floor plan allows everyone to gradually understand the space below.

"We can find an opportunity to lure the monster into this room, then close the door at the back and lock it inside."

Josh pointed to a location on the floor plan and said to the others.

The people from the Inspection Bureau gathered around, and everyone tacitly agreed not to look at Thomas.

"So where is the ceremony?" Victor is also with them. He is not panic at all now because he is still hungry and has not eaten dinner. The mark of the self-immolation ceremony has nothing to do with him.

"If there are no traces of rituals in this location, our first consideration is to trap the monsters, and we can slowly find the others..." After Josh finished speaking, he immediately gave instructions to the agents, "We have no time, act quickly!

The agents all started to move. Thomas looked at the group of people with a sneer on his face and asked his subordinates to drag the bucket and follow them.

His son is making trouble again, but now no one except the waiter will pay attention to this brat.

The group of people arrived at the cabin door. Thomas asked the remaining two men to carry buckets to clear the way. He himself held a lantern behind for lighting. Josh, Henry and two other agents followed.

Thomas was in danger himself, so you can imagine how impatient he was.

This time, everyone who was supposed to go down went down, but some people were left to guard the top, such as Victor... and that annoying Whedon.

Weeden kept a straight face and did not cause trouble for Victor at this tense moment.

Victor looked at him curiously and asked deliberately: "Inspector Weeden, why don't you follow the chief inspector?"

Weeden glanced at him, snorted coldly, and said nothing.

Thomas's son was torturing the waiter, whose face was almost scratched by the little devil.

"Why hasn't this kid been burned to death?" Victor muttered, and then looked at Pierce, who was trembling from head to toe.

Pierce was also lucky. He neither faced monsters nor set himself on fire, but his mentality was a bit broken and he wet his pants all over the floor along the way.

Bang bang bang!

Gunshots were heard below, and Victor guessed that they must have encountered the strange thing.

I don’t know if the plan of using raw meat to lure away the monsters will work.

There was a flash of fire on the ship again, and this was the first time.

After a while, Chief Inspector Josh returned to the cabin door with a serious face.

"Mr. Victor, Weeden, you can come down now, we have successfully trapped it..."

Hearing this, Victor was surprised, not expecting that this method was really useful.

However, Josh's face didn't look good. They must have paid a high price to trap the strange thing.

"Have you found the ritual?" Victor asked as he followed Chief Inspector Josh.

The other party remained silent.

When he met the people below, Victor realized that three people were missing.

Thomas has one subordinate left, and Henry is the only one left among the three agents led by Josh.

You know what just happened without asking.

"For this plan, I lost two more capable subordinates..." Josh's face was full of pain, "I think after this operation is over, I should take the initiative to apply for resignation."

Compared to Josh, Thomas doesn't care so much about the lives of his men.

He was very excited and held a certain hatch with his feet. The empty bucket was thrown next to it. It was filled with blood red and a strong fishy smell assaulted his nostrils.

What was closed by that door must be the strange thing wandering in the engine room, and a trace of mist spread from the gap.

"Son of a bitch! I'll send you to the west right away! I'll blow you up!"

After Thomas kicked him, he turned to look at the others: "Okay! Go find that damn ritual."

This strange thing should be the same thing as the other two that appeared in the forest. It is blindly attracted to the flesh and blood of creatures, and only knows how to cut them into pieces and then merge into itself.

Thomas must have just thrown the body in the bucket into the hatch, luring the monster in to devour it, and then took the opportunity to close the hatch.

Next, everyone has to look for traces of the ritual.

This process is not complicated and can even be said to be quite easy.

Without the threat of strange things, everyone could move freely. Finally, they broke open a room that was locked from the outside, and found an extremely strange scene in a corner where pipes intersected.

When Thomas, who was full of resentment, saw this scene, he was stunned.

Of course, Victor and Henry were also stunned.

Josh stood at the front and took a deep breath.

"I said at the beginning that props are needed to arrange the ceremony. It would be difficult for the Conor Gang to bypass the security on the ship and bring those weird and suspicious items, but now it seems that those guys have already used the materials on the spot...

As Josh's words fell, what appeared before everyone's eyes was a strange pattern drawn with blood.

At the junction of the pattern lines, there is a decayed wooden chair. The chair has been stained red with blood from the feet to the backrest.

And sitting on that chair was an unkempt woman.

She was tied to it with an iron rope full of spikes. The sharp thorns pierced her skin hard, and all the blood came from it.

The blood gathered together strangely and dripped into an ordinary goblet under the woman's crotch.

The goblet had broken, and the blood slowly flowed out, drawing the strange pattern on the ground that everyone saw.

Henry's eyes seemed to be frozen, and he moved his lips slightly: "Mrs. Jennifer..."

Yes, even if the other person is covered in blood, you can still vaguely see the purple dress on her body.

"Jennifer! My Jennifer!!!"

As a lover, Thomas was so distraught that he fell to his knees and kept crying.

Victor and Henry looked at each other, and the latter shook his head, saying that he really didn't know why the other person was here.

"Victor Damon! Tell me! Why is Jennifer here?"

Thomas was a little angry, and he forgot that Victor had not been to Jennifer's room.

"Save...save..."

At this time, a surprising scene happened. The woman covered in blood actually opened her lips angrily and weakly asked for help from everyone.

She's not dead yet!

Thomas immediately jumped up, crying with joy, and rushed over to untie the iron rope from her body.

But when he touched Jennifer's body, he found that as long as Jennifer's body was moved, she would let out a miserable cry of pain.

The blood flowing out of her body seemed to be integrated with the goblet under her feet. As Jennifer's chair was moved, her blood would flow faster and faster.

Thomas kicked the cup away in anger, but the cup pulled the blood on Jennifer's body strangely, and hit the corner like a long rope. Jennifer almost went into shock from the pain.

"Stop! Mr. Thomas!" Josh shouted to stop the other party, "This ceremony is not so easy to be destroyed."

Thomas was also frightened. He stared at Josh and asked, "What should I do?!"

Josh looked at the surroundings carefully and was about to speak when Thomas's last man suddenly set himself on fire, and the flames instantly lit up the narrow gap in the pipe.

The guy rushed to the aisle in pain and instantly turned into ashes in front of people's eyes.

"There's no time! If you have any idea, just tell me!" Thomas yelled.

"I don't know, I'm sorry..." Josh sighed, "It seems that the ceremony has been integrated with Mrs. Jennifer. The cup will keep drawing out her blood. As long as she is alive, the ceremony will not end.

Thomas' eyes widened: "So we will all be burned to death sooner or later?"

Josh nodded with difficulty. Suddenly he remembered something again and opened his mouth to speak.

But with a bang, Jennifer's head was immediately blasted open by a bullet, and the flowing blood stopped instantly.

Thomas put down the gun and looked sadly at the body of the woman in front of him.

"My poor Jennifer, you shouldn't die here like this..."

After saying that, he looked at Josh again.

"Have I ruined the ceremony now?"
