Chapter 62 Stormy Night

It was windy and rainy outside the window, and branch-shaped lightning appeared in the night sky from time to time.

Han Jinghu clasped his hands on the table and stared quietly at Yu Zhesen who was watching the video played on the tablet.

"When did this happen?"

"Half an hour before the emergency curfew was issued." Han Jinghu replied.

Yu Zhesen has watched this more than three-minute video twice.

To be precise, this is not a video, but a surveillance video clip of Xingtian Heavy Industries' warehouse somewhere in Hong Kong Island.

In the video of the previous minute, the workers managing the warehouse left and locked the door after completing routine inspections. About 200 brand-new product bionic robots in the warehouse were neatly arranged like terracotta warriors and horses, and everything seemed normal.

But the video went black for a while, and when the screen appeared again, the warehouse was empty.

All the bionic robots in the warehouse were gone, leaving a huge red symbol - "v" on the empty floor.

"The surveillance was hacked and was inactive for about fifteen minutes. Of course, the fifteen minutes of black screen have been edited out."

"So this is the reason why the National Defense Forces suddenly entered the city?" Yu Zhesen suddenly realized.

Han Jinghu said nothing, but his expression clearly acquiesced to his inference.

Yu Zhesen felt that he was a little out of breath, and subconsciously tugged on his collar: "A whole warehouse of bionic robots disappeared mysteriously, and your monitoring was hacked for about fifteen minutes. Fifteen minutes was enough for the thieves to move all these things away.

?"

Han Jinghu shook his head: "The individual weight of this batch of bionic humans is 450 kilograms. It is impossible for ordinary people to carry it with bare hands."

"Even relying on exoskeleton armor and cybernetic bodies is very troublesome, unless it is a gang crime... but that is too outrageous."

"Yes, in fifteen minutes, the entire warehouse was evacuated... I checked the vehicle entry and exit records near the warehouse, and the capacity of the vehicles leaving during that time period was completely insufficient." Han Jinghu touched his bald head.

Yu Zhesen asked hesitantly: "What did the security bureau say after you called the police?"

"The Security Bureau promised to open a case for investigation, but did not tell me the specific time limit." Han Jinghu shrugged, "I guess your teacher must be very busy now, right? Is the action to escort that Fu Zhaohai scheduled for tomorrow?"

Yu Zhesen's expression darkened for a second.

"Don't be nervous, I made the guess based on some scattered information obtained through the channel relationship with the National Defense Force." Han Jinghu tapped a cigar on the table, "But it seems that my guess is correct.

, and you...why do you know the action plan of the Security Bureau?"

Yu Zhesen faced his fierce tiger-like gaze without flinching: "This has nothing to do with you. You haven't told me what you want to do with me today."

"Things are all connected. If I told you that the batch of bionic robots lost in the warehouse were designed according to military-grade standards, what would you think of?"

"Something big is going to happen on the Seven Islands." Yu Zhesen was so nervous that his heart beat faster. "The worst-case scenario is that these bionic robots fall into the hands of the Returned Sect and can become an armed army in an instant."

Han Jinghu nodded: "And tomorrow, the Security Bureau will escort Fu Zhaohai to the dock."

"Shouldn't your company be held responsible for this? Boss Han, why are you still sitting here chatting with me, an insignificant person, with a relaxed face?" Yu Zhesen suppressed his anger and dissatisfaction.

"No, no, no, you are belittling yourself too much. You are by no means an insignificant person." Han Jinghu shook his raised index finger.

Under Yu Zhesen's gaze, he lit a cigar and said, "Your teacher made a mistake by excluding you from her plan."

"What exactly do you want to say?"

"Cooperate with me." Han Jinghu followed suit, "If you don't want this city to be destroyed."

Yu Zhesen shook his head: "Let's get back to the most important issue. I think the top priority is to go to Hong Kong Island to conduct a blanket search. As you said, the bionic robot is very heavy and transport-type theft is unrealistic. So is it possible?

What if the thieves took control of them and let them leave the warehouse on their own?"

"This is impossible." Han Jinghu denied his guess without hesitation.

"It's entirely possible! The hacking technology mastered by the Returned Sect may be beyond your imagination, Boss Han!" Yu Zhesen slammed the table with obvious anger in his voice.

"This has nothing to do with whether the hacking skills are good or not." Han Jinghu said calmly, "That batch of products does not have an energy drive module installed, do you understand? It's like a mobile phone that has no battery and cannot be started at all."

Yu Zhesen was stunned.

He originally thought he had found the right direction, but the information Han Jinghu said completely overturned his guess.

"Then since those bionic robots don't have driver modules installed, they can't use them even if they steal them, right?" Yu Zhesen breathed a sigh of relief.

Han Jinghu crossed his fingers and his eyes gradually darkened: "This brings up another case half a month ago that the security bureau has not yet solved - a truck of our company transporting a bionic robot energy drive module was found on the Fourth Cross-Sea Bridge.

The bridge approach section lost control and fell into the sea."

Yu Zhesen already understood what he was going to say next: "The car was picked up, but the goods are gone?"

"Hmm." Han Jinghu spread his hands, "So I say, everything is connected."

"Can't a company like yours, which has the technology to develop lethal weapons, be more careful about its own security?"

"The enemy is in the dark and we are in the dark, so we can't defend against it. So I have been working hard to recruit people with special talents to strengthen the company's security force." Han Jinghu said innocently, "Didn't I ask Mei Wu to invite you before?"

Yu Zhesen retorted: "I only know that Boss Han has ulterior motives in recruiting people. I don't know what you plan to do. Isn't it normal to refuse?"

"What about now? I have already told you my whole heart." Han Jinghu smiled, "If you are willing to help me, I can guarantee that you will no longer have to live in a crowded rental house, no longer have to deliver express delivery rain or shine, and no need to take risks.

If you work for the Security Bureau for free, you will live like a master."

"How can I be treated like this when I am the security captain of your company?" Yu Zhesen felt that he was telling lies.

"I'm never short of bodyguards." Han Jinghu snapped his fingers.

A burst of rainbow light flashed in the conference room, and twenty security personnel equipped with Dark Night Fire exoskeleton armor appeared on both sides of the conference room.

"It turns out there are so many people wearing optical camouflage and guarding you," Yu Zhesen nodded, "I wonder how someone like you can be so relieved that you only bring one woman to meet with me."

Luo Meimei smiled and added: "It's thermal optical camouflage. Even the thermal imaging camera can't detect it after it's activated."

Han Jinghu opened his arms proudly: "These are just mass-produced exoskeleton armors. If you join, I will give you the best."

"You don't lack bodyguards, so what else do you want me to do?" Yu Zhesen crossed his legs, "You must have investigated my background and resume clearly. If I don't work for the Security Bureau, I just want to support myself by delivering express delivery."
"I need your ability to control the future." Han Jinghu said meaningfully.

After hearing these words, Yu Zhesen felt shuddering in front of Han Jinghu for the first time tonight.

Then he heard Han Jinghu say in a deep voice: "When I am in my position, no matter how much wealth and power increases, it is actually a change in the numbers on the books. It is difficult for me to increase my sense of security by relying on these alone."
"Oh." Yu Zhesen expressed his disdain for Han Jinghu's Versailles-style show off in a nonchalant tone.

"Through my observation of you, I found that you seem to have the ability to predict the future. In ancient religious books of the old times, such people are often called 'prophets' and 'sages', who are sent by God to guide all peoples."<

Yu Zhesen remained silent, thinking in his mind - how much did Han Jinghu know about his own abilities?

"As the world is gradually heading towards chaos, I sincerely hope to listen to God's will." Han Jinghu looked pious.

Yu Zhesen stood up: "This is the conference room of the Xingtian Heavy Industry Group, isn't it the lair of the Guilin Sect?"

Han Jinghu and Luo Meiwu looked at each other and laughed out loud.

"Mr. Yu, you are still so humorous." Luo Meiwu gently put her hands on his shoulders from behind.

"Miss Luo, I have received professional training. If you do this elsewhere, you may be thrown to the ground unconsciously by me." Yu Zhesen turned around and broke away from her, while keeping a distance from Han Jinghu.

Han Jinghu was still sitting at the head of the conference table and said to Yu Zhesen: "Aside from those vague words just now, I solemnly propose that at least in order to ensure that no living Fu Zhaohai will leave the Seven Islands tomorrow, we should unite and cooperate."

"If Boss Han had said this from the beginning, both of us would have saved time." Yu Zhesen returned to his seat.

"I still retain my invitation to you, which is valid for a long time - no, forever." Han Jinghu said, "One day in the future you will understand that the contribution you can make by being in a strong group is far greater than that of being alone.

Fighting is useful."

"Thank you for your advice, but I already have a life mentor." Yu Zhesen smiled politely, "Although she can't give me wealth, power and security, she makes me feel very safe."

"I respect your choice." Han Jinghu nodded.
