Chapter 0808 Salted Fish

Although I was anxious to go home to "celebrate the holidays", I still paid a visit to my second aunt before returning.

When Zhou Yan arrived, the second aunt was sitting under a tree outside the courtyard chatting with a fellow villager who also spoke with a Xia Dong accent.

It was rare for relatives to visit, but the second aunt was so happy that she quickly said hello to the fellow villagers and went to welcome her.

"Let's go home quickly, I'll go buy groceries..."

"No, let's catch the flight home," Zhou Yan put a box of fruit on the porch, "By the way, aren't Xiaoling and Beibei here?"

"Both of these girls are homeless..."

"My aunt will come here in two days..."

After sitting for a while, Zhou Yan drove away with his second aunt reluctantly watching, and then went straight to the airport.

It takes two hours to get to Xinhai and another hour to return to Dongyang. Taking the expressway, it takes about the same time to return to the countryside as it does to the city.

When I arrived at the project department in the town, I found that my daughter-in-law was still working diligently. She smiled and took out her mobile phone and made a call: "I'm at the project department office. I brought you some gifts. Come and get them!"

After not seeing each other for several days, Zhou Yan felt that there was still no movement in Qin Ruoshu's stomach.

"Is the matter done?"

"Of course..." Zhou Yan smiled and took out a colorful ribbon from his bag, wrapped the box and handed it over.

"It's not a new year or a festival, what gift should I give?" Her words were light and indifferent, but the smile on Qin Ruoshu's face said it all.

"Today is 520, so I have to have a sense of ceremony." Zhou Yan smiled, "I went to Myanmar a while ago to get the materials and found someone to make bracelets. The texture is average, made from ice and waxy seeds, but the color is good.

,Fu Lu Shou..."

"Also," Zhou Yan thought for a moment, "Daughter-in-law, please call your father-in-law and mother-in-law and ask us to cook dinner for ourselves tonight..."

"OK……"

Qin Ruoshu was about to leave when she was stopped by Zhou Yan: "And..."

Zhou Yan pointed to the foam incubator on the table: "Big cherries from Liao Province..."

"This can be done..."

After staying in the office for less than two hours, it was time to get off work...

"Hey, husband, I think big cherries are good. Why haven't we introduced them here?" On the way home, Qin Ruoshu happily sucked on the delicate big cherries.

"Big cherries can only be grown in greenhouses, and management is more troublesome..." Zhou Yan sighed slightly, "Like pruning during the fruit period, there are only about ten people in our village who know how to thin the fruits."

“Why do we need to plant it in a greenhouse?”

"Greenhouses can guarantee sugar content in early spring. Another point is that this thing is easy to attract birds..." Zhou Yan smiled, "The output is not high in the first place. If insects and birds peck at it, profits cannot be guaranteed..."

For dinner, the two of them didn't cook too much. They had fried steak, salmon, and some fruit and vegetable salad.

Early the next morning after returning home, Zhou Yan went to see the progress of the wooden house.

The original wooden roof has been covered with a thick layer of reddish-brown thatch, giving it a somewhat fresh look.

After walking around in a circle and returning to the pig farm house, Zhou Yan found that his father had driven out of the warehouse the small combine harvester that had been gathering dust for most of the year.

Seeing Zhou Yan approaching, Mr. Zhou turned off the engine and jumped out of the car.

"Just in time, you can help repair the harvester in the past two days," said Zhou's father and looked at Zhou Yan, "You haven't been out in the past month, right?"

"at home!"

"Okay, in two days, you can drive the tractor and help pull the grain..."

After breakfast, I put on work clothes and was about to go out when the phone in my pocket rang.

"Zhou Yan, even though you are studying for a master's degree and a Ph.D. degree, you still have to achieve some milestones in your second year as a graduate student, right?"

The instructor's words made Zhou Yan feel deeply ashamed.

In his first year as a graduate student, Zhou Yan often went to the school laboratory, but after getting married, his studies were basically abandoned.

Ashamed as a shame, Zhou Yan had no intention of changing things before the child was born.

As for the periodic papers required by the tutor, Zhou Yan has no shortage of materials here...

"Teacher," Zhou Yan thought for a while, "I just have an idea here, which is the data model of the variable cycle turbofan engine..."

"Boy, please look back and finish the paper. Send it to me for a look..."

Although it sounds light and easy, in fact the variable loop has already touched upon Zhou Yan’s plug-in’s blind spot.

Of course, Zhou Yan is not without goals. In Zhou Yan's database, there are conceptual drawings of a beautiful national-cycle engine more than ten years later.

"It's the same as trying to cross the river. There's no reason why dual-system air-to-air missiles can do it, but variable cycle engines can't..."

The "change" of the variable cycle turbofan engine mainly lies in two aspects.

The first "change" is to take into account the engine characteristics under two extreme working conditions: low speed, or "fuel economy airspeed", and high speed cruising.

As a result, the design of the engine needs to face a contradiction: the airflow field inside the engine is completely different at subsonic and supersonic speeds.

The flow fields are different, and the designed blade shapes are also very different.

How to unify the two blade shapes at high and low airspeeds, or "take into account" them, is the biggest problem during design.

This requires a lot of modeling and testing.

The second "change" is to change the bypass ratio.

The original combat effectiveness is a small bypass ratio, but if you want to pursue fuel economy at subsonic speeds, you need to appropriately enlarge the bypass ratio.

How to achieve?

Just add a variable adjustable damper in the outer duct...

But whether it is the unification of high-speed or low-speed turbofan engine blade shapes or the realization of air damper adjustment, it takes time. Fortunately, what Zhou Yan does not lack most is "time"...

Of course, even if you have enough time, you cannot waste it without scruples.

Before the experiment, Zhou Yan collected a large amount of data on turbofan blades at various airspeeds. After that, the boring comparison, deduction and induction began.

After being busy for a while, Zhou Yan felt a little boring, so he jumped out of space and helped his old man repair the harvester.

The simplest task is to tighten the loose screws; the second is to clean and wipe away the dust.

Debugging the operation of the harvester is simple, but Zhou Yan steps on the accelerator and the old man observes the operation of the machine.

The most troublesome thing is the inspection of internal parts.

You need to dismantle the harvester into eight pieces, remove the engine and reduction gearbox, then disassemble it, replace the air filter, check the valves, check the engine oil, clean the crankshaft, pistons and gears, clean the oil pan...

At Zhou Yan's level, he can at most dismantle a five-horsepower single-cylinder diesel engine. Logically speaking, he would not dare to dismantle a harvester.

But I can’t bear to have someone at home who studies “engines”.

"We've already built a car engine, but isn't it a piece of cake to dismantle a harvester?"

Zhou Yan can only catch the duck and put it on the shelves.

Fortunately, because I had planned an agricultural machinery company, I had also specialized in "decades" of research.

After maintenance is completed, use a special torque wrench to assemble the engine and gearbox one by one.

Refill engine oil and diesel.

"Ignition start!"

"The voice is much better than before!" Father Zhou smiled and patted Zhou Yan on the shoulder, "The tuition for four years of college was not in vain..."

Zhou Yan rolled his eyes in protest: "If the teaching in the university was really good, would there still be college students who can't find a job?"

"Also...the dry cylinder liner is a bit worn and the gap is a bit wide. Even if the piston ring is replaced, it will definitely not be as easy to use as when I first bought it..."

"Don't fix these useless things for me, just tell me what to do!"

"After the wheat season is over, I will draw a drawing for you and reprocess a batch of cylinder liners to replace them..."
