398 【Three Master Xiao】

Busy seeking fame, busy seeking profit, taking a break from the busy schedule to have a glass of wine;

Working hard, working hard for farming, enjoying the hard work, making a bowl of tea.

This is the couplet at the entrance of Wangjiang Tower. The wording is simple, easy to understand, and it is plain but contains infinite artistic conception.

During the Republic of China, Shanghai’s teahouses were the most popular in the world.

Various teahouses in old Shanghai were news distribution centers. There was a lot of news, so patrolmen, detectives, and reporters often visited it. Often some tabloid reporters would go to the teahouse to make a bowl of tea in the morning and sit for a long time to find out the news and interesting stories, which were sent directly to the newspaper editorial office.

This is how gossip news is created.

The patrolmen were even more awesome. They simply used the teahouse as an official office and completed everything from investigation to interrogation in the teahouse.

Wangjiang Tower on the bank of the Huangpu River is such an old teahouse, where Huang Jinrong and Du Yuesheng often tried cases.

In the middle of the morning, "Jing Bao" reporter Liu Xinquan slowly came to the teahouse. When he entered the door, he said to the waiter: "Old rules, a bowl of scented tea and a stack of peanuts!"

"Okay!" When the guy spoke, he blinked wildly at Liu Xinquan.

Liu Xinquan was stunned for a moment, suddenly understood, turned around and walked out.

Before he could walk out of the teahouse, two Chinese police officers stopped him: "Are you Liu Xinquan?"

Liu Xinquan smiled bitterly and said, "That's me. What do you want the two gentlemen to do?"

"There is a case that requires your cooperation, come with us!" As the patrol officer spoke, he had already restrained Liu Xinquan.

They did not go back to the patrol room, but went directly to the private room on the second floor of the teahouse.

Du Yuesheng sat on the seat by the window, pointed to the river outside and said, "Brother Zhou, the scenery here is not bad."

“It’s a great place with a wide view,” Zhou Hexuan said with a smile.

The door suddenly opened, and two Chinese police officers dragged Liu Xinquan in and pushed him to the ground with a thud, where he knelt.

Liu Xinquan saw clearly that it was Du Yuesheng, and immediately trembled: "Du... Master Du, what do you always want from me?"

Du Yuesheng did not answer, but smiled and said to Zhou Hexuan: "When I was still selling fruit, I heard the name of Wangjiang Tower. That day I was doing business on the street and saw three cutters (thieves).

Harm the country people. The first one hunches his shoulders and pushes the country people forward, bumping into the second one. The second one pretends to be angry, catches the country people and beats them. The third one steps in to smooth things over and pleads for the country people. The country people

He left with a lot of thanks, and as soon as he left, the three thieves burst out laughing, because all the money in the countryman's pockets fell into their hands."

Zhou Hexuan smiled helplessly and said: "This kind of trick is really deceiving."

Du Yuesheng continued: "The three hair-cutters didn't laugh a few times before a plainclothes patrolman caught them and said: Come, follow me to Wangjiang Tower. When the three people heard 'Wangjiang Tower', their feet suddenly became weak.

, guess why?”

Zhou Hexuan asked: "Why?"

"Because Wangjiang Tower was the court where Mr. Jin Ronghuang handled cases at that time, hahahaha!" Du Yuesheng said and laughed to himself.

Liu Xinquan, who was kneeling on the ground, was shaking all over and said with a grimace: "Master Du, what exactly did I commit? You should give me an accurate answer."

Du Yuesheng then turned to look at Liu Xinquan and asked: "The reporter from "Jing Bao" whose pen name is Jia Wang, is you, right?"

"Yes, Jia Wang is my pen name." Liu Xinquan nodded.

Du Yuesheng asked again: "Did you write an article two days ago?"

"I wrote two articles, which one are you asking about?" Liu Xinquan said confusedly.

"Ruan Lingyu's article." Du Yuesheng said.

Liu Xinquan looked at Zhou Hexuan, suddenly came to his senses, kowtowed crazily and said: "Mr. Zhou, I was wrong, I shouldn't have written randomly, I shouldn't have slandered Miss Ruan, please let me go!"

Zhou Hexuan asked expressionlessly: "Who told you what you wrote?"

"A young man, in his twenties, dressed in ordinary clothes, but I don't recognize him." Liu Xinquan was sweating on his forehead.

Du Yuesheng said: "Speak more clearly."

"As soon as I went out that morning, a young man gave me a letter, and the content of the article was entirely based on that letter," Liu Xinquan said.

"Where's the letter?" Zhou Hexuan asked.

"I don't know if I threw it away at home. I can't remember clearly." Liu Xinquan cried.

Du Yuesheng scolded in a low voice: "Get it, now!"

Liu Xinquan ran home frantically and soon brought out a few pages of letter paper.

After Zhou Hexuan read it, he couldn't see why he came here and said: "If you think about it again, you really don't know the person who sent the letter?"

"I really don't know him," Liu Xinquan said.

"Are there any other characteristics?" Zhou Hexuan asked.

"I'll think about it, I'll think about it again," Liu Xinquan struggled to remember and said confusedly, "Oh, I really wish I had seen him before, but I just can't remember clearly."

Du Yuesheng grinned and said, "Then think about it slowly. Eat when you remember it today."

Liu Xinquan's face suddenly turned into a bitter melon, and his liver trembled with fear.

Du Yuesheng smiled and said to Zhou Hexuan: "Brother Zhou, I want to introduce you to a friend today. Let's go to Desheng Building for a drink first."

"The guest does as the host does," Zhou Hexuan said.

The two of them walked out of the private room door side by side. Just as they were about to step out of the room, Liu Xinquan inside suddenly shouted: "I remembered, the one who sent me the letter was a worker at Mingxing Film Company. I met him when I interviewed celebrities!

"

"Take him to the Star Company to arrest him!" Du Yuesheng finished speaking and left without looking back.

Zhou Hexuan followed Du Yuesheng to Desheng Building. Not long after sitting there, it was already noon when a middle-aged man in a suit and leather shoes came into the private room.

Du Yuesheng introduced: "Brother Zhou, this is Secretary Xiao Tongzi from the Central Propaganda Department."

Xiao Tongzi was a gentle man. He shook hands with Zhou Hexuan with a smile and said, "Mr. Zhou, I have long admired you!"

"Hello, Secretary Xiao." Zhou Hexuan couldn't figure out the reason for this guy's visit, but he had heard of Xiao Tongzi's name before traveling through time, but he had not yet made a fortune.

Xiao Tongzi was a skilled worker, believed in socialism, and went on strike when he was young. Although he only joined the Kuomintang on the eve of the Northern Expedition, due to his outstanding ability, he was promoted very quickly in the past few years. He has become Secretary of the Central Propaganda Department, News

Recruiting for the position of section chief. During the Central Plains War, he also went north with Wu Tiecheng to persuade Zhang Xueliang to join the Central Committee.

These are nothing, Xiao Tongzi’s real career has not yet started, and he will be transferred to the position of president of the Central News Agency in two years.

After Xiao Tongzi became the president of the Central News Agency, he made the Central News Agency independent from the Kuomintang Party Headquarters and carried out a series of professional, social and entrepreneurial reforms. During his 16 years in office, he developed the Central News Agency with only a few dozen people into a company with more than 20 employees.

It is a large news agency with 52 branches and more than 2,600 employees. It is also known as the world's top five news agencies along with Reuters and the Associated Press.

Xiao Tongzi was therefore honored as "Master Xiao" and was known as the "Father of China's modern communications industry".

To put it bluntly, this person will become Chang Kaishen's top mouthpiece and a super boss in the press during the Republic of China.

After the food and drinks were served, Xiao Tongzi smiled and asked without a few words: "I heard that Mr. Zhou is going to initiate the establishment of the 'China Press Association'?"

Well, that’s why I came here!

The Central Propaganda Department of the Kuomintang Party has directly intervened. This action is very fast.
